Ordered 2 cherry trees-rainier and bing for cross pollination when they arrived in the long box the roots in the pot were shipped opposite with no real reinforcement in the middle this both trees were broken asked for replacement and shipped the same way and trunks also broken requested a refund which you did you can't sustain your business shipping like this probably won't buy from you again
My autumn red maple arrived as a straight trunk in good condition, no leaves. Planted on April 12th, now thriving with astounding growth and foliage
I have ordered plans from multiple companies. Fast Growing Trees has provided the service, best quality plants the best variety. I am very pleased with everything I have ordered from them.
Most of my trees came very beautiful, got replacement for those that dont arrive in good condition. Great customer service HOWEVER most of my tropical plants died over the winter, even bringing them in doors, with extra grow lights and reccomendations from customer, still didnt survived, replaced some and still died.Just know the trees can only be replaced ones and some trees dont get replaced when it doesnt have the "one year thrive " At check out. I finally give up my love for these trees. They expensive and nit guranteed to survive, if i decide to grow trees again may be start with local nursery first so I wont loose money if they die on me.
My hydrangea tree arrived healthy. We planted I it in the ground. It is growing beautifully!
I didn't know that it wasn't deer resistant. The suburban deer found a midnight snack. I couldn't figure out, at first, why the leaves were disappearing. I looked it up online, hydrangeas are one of their favorite plants.
So I went to one of my favorite gardening shops and found an eco friendly deer spray. Now my tree is thriving. I can't wait until it blooms.
I have ordered trees in the past and they had at least a few branches established and a well established root ball. My latest order a Crimson King Maple was literally just a stick with some sickly leaves. No branch formation and the roots were barely established in such loose soil. I would have been better off going to lowes or Home Depot.
I recently placed a large order with Gast Growing Trees.,, all was good except for one plant which was dead on arrival. I have reached out for help and been promised a call back… but still waiting. Probably my last order with them if they cannot make things right.
Packaging of trees/plants not adequate to protect. Every shipment I received was delivered by Fed Ex and in every case the packaging was damaged (crushed and/or open and very obviously tossed around without attention to directions on boxes). Many of the plants received no longer had soil in their pots, it was just loose in the box. I waited to write a review or request refunds as I was trying to salvage the products I received. I believe I ordered 16 plants/trees and have tried very hard to bring these damaged plants back to life. I have been able to save my 2 daisy's, 3 lavender (out of 4), 1 possibly 2 honeysuckles (out of 3), and possibly one other small bush that I cannot recall it's name. To be very clear, I did not receive any products that were not damaged so I cannot give a clear review on the quality of the plants. I will be reaching out today to request a refund on the other products and will be happy to provide a review of that experience when it is complete.
Unfortunately, the limbs on 1 side of tree are pruned off & not growing. Now that silver maple has leafed it's incredibly unbalanced. Also was topped so 2 shoots instead of 1 growing upward. Very disappointed.
We ordered over $600 worth of bushes last fall and planted them. None of them came back this spring. I have dug them all up and requesting my refund or replacement.
Fast Growing Trees had a wide selection of tree species that I couldn't always find at local nurseries. Delivered to the door made the purchase convenient. Trees came in very good condition considering the transportation. I didn't like that they 'topped' my tulip poplar to fit it in the box for the size I purchased-I would have just paid a few extra dollars for a bigger tree instead of having it topped. Altogether that is my only complaint.
I ordered a honeycrisp apple tree in February and it arrived in late April (great time for planting it in Wisconsin). The tree was in great shape and was very well packaged. It is doing great in our backyard.
I ordered six hydrangeas, which arrived quite damaged. The pots for several of them were crushed, and most of the plants' branches were broken (all six). I have reached out to customer service twice and have yet to receive a response. Not sure where to go from here. Note that the first time I placed an order, my plants arrived in excellent shape and I was very happy, which is why I placed a second order. I don't know what happened to this recent order - the plants looked like they were run over by a truck.
The Rose of Sharon tree form came as scheduled and is leafing out beautifully. Looking forward to seeing those Azurri Blue Satin blooms! The lantana was taller and leggier than expected but is healthy and blooming.
Terrible experience. You are one of the worst companies that I have ever ordered from. My 6 organic strawberries have died and I was reassured by one of your reps that a replacement order will be issued. I have never received that and the last rep I spoke to played dumb and pretended to be unaware of such communication even though I attached screenshots of it.
Almost all plants I was buying here during the last 5-6 years were just perfect. All are growing in my backyard: cherry, persimmon, hazelnut, strawberries, blueberries and etc. All what I was buying came in very good condition, but last my purchase: wisteria tree came like a dry stick almost without roots. It was very unusual and disappointing… I was hoping it can be still alive, but after one month I wrote the email with explanation of the issue to the customer service. After few emails back and forth, I got the replacement in good and very healthy condition. I love it a lot.
To date the many plants I've ordered and received were in good shape. The next one arrived with black spots and black slime. I took photos and contacted customer service. Of course I was not "speaking " to a representative that I couldn't just voice my issues to. I texted into the box about the state of the plant and sent photos. I requested either a replacement or a refund. Was responded with the only option afforded me with basically "You will need to remove all damages and baby the plant along! If you still have issues after 90 days, contact us again " 🤯
I ordered a Granny Smith apple tree in March. I paid for it. Because I live in Illinois, temps dropped to below freezing after I ordered, so I called Fast Growing trees customer service to have them hold shipment until April (approximately 2-3 weeks). It was never shipped, so about 3 weeks ago (around April 20th)I emailed (only option) to inquire why my tree hadn't shipped yet. Customer service was gracious and regretful and gave me an unsolicited 15% discount, which I got quickly, and said my tree would be shipped following Friday. Today is evening of May 7th. No tree was shipped. No explanation. I just want to move on. Just give me my money back and I'll order from another site.
We are extremely pleased with the plants we have received so far but the communication (or lack thereof) for the remaining tree has been nonexistent. It was ordered in March and I only received an update with I reached out mid April. Still waiting on another update and/or the tree.
I was give an incorrect tree and was sent a new correct one! Thank you
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
