Plants arrived in great condition, easy to plant, grows into a blooming beauty and neighbors always comment on how healthy they look!
I purchased 3 thornless blackberry bushes. The plants were in great condition and packaged very well. The convenience of having them delivered vs. transporting them myself was really nice.
Avocados, lemon, mandarin orange, lime, and olive tree from 2 years ago, all thriving! Banana trees struggled, but that just the nature of challenging weather living on the Jet Stream of cold north and blistering south.
Customer support is very encouraging and helpful. The toughest aspect of buying online is the stress over shipping damage and climate conditions in transit - shipping from South Caroline to Wyoming is a big job!
Large variety and reasonable prices, great sales. The plant experts are great in helping to choose trees and how best to care for them. Great Chatting with a plant expert on how best to overwinter trees to be able to take advantage of end-of-season sales
One of the two coffee plants were damaged. Wilted leaves and in bad shape. Other one was fine for the most part. Loose soil but the delivery person did lean the box against the garage and that put one of them upside down. I didn't buy the warranty with these, and I also didn't call the company to see if they would do anything so the one that died was just as much my fault for not seeing if anything could be done.
I have ordered several times, 4 different money trees everything has always been packed perfectly and everything is beautiful and so fresh and alive. Like I went and picked it up myself. I received it to anyone
Bought several plants from apple trees, pear trees, blueberry bush and cranberry bush all arrived alive and planted them the same day. Looking forward to this Spring
I ordered banana trees 3-4 years ago from Fast Growing Trees, they arrived damaged. No fault of theirs, most likely happened during shipping. I contacted customer service, sent them some photos and they happily shipped new trees. I had them in a matter of days! They produced the best tasting bananas we have ever had. Everybody loves them!
All 12 of my trees and my 4 bushes have done very well. I did loose one tree to Japanese beetles, but over all they are doing well and should produce a great crop this year.
My experience with fast growing trees have been as expected! Everything ordered so far has thrived! The plants are healthy and with the proper care beautifies landscapes as well as gardens. I am truly a satisfied customer and will continue to order from them.
Flowering lilac tree received healthy, good shape, tip bent hard in shipment (6-inches), I taped immediately, healed perfectly, offered replacement but I didn't feel that necessary, 3rd season and tree is exactly what I hoped for, will continue to do business with Fast Growing Trees.
Very late, I had to complain to finally get them. They were a bit of a mess, but they are still alive. I have seven acres... I hope this goes better.
"Alive & Thrive Guarantee" turned into an all-afternoon paperwork fight!
I bought a Cold Hardy Avocado Tree from Fast Growing Trees largely because they promote a 1-year Alive & Thrive Guarantee. The tree arrived healthy and was thriving until the first frost. We live 8b grow zone and the tree "hardy to 20 degrees".
We protected it (burlap, deep covered porch ~12 feet deep, fans running to reduce frost settling) and then moved it into a heated greenhouse (~54°F overnight). It still declined and died.
I filed a claim and provided the order number, multiple photos, and scratch test documentation. Support then asked a long set of questions "do you mind answering a few questions?" (watering method and frequency, exact water amount each time, fertilizer type and schedule, light hours by time-of-day, and soil type) and said they cannot proceed without those answers.
I do mind--I have a job, and this turned into an entire afternoon of back-and-forth just to access a "guarantee" they advertise heavily. When it's presented as "do you mind answering," but the claim won't proceed without it, it feels like an extra hurdle after the fact. I asked them to either honor the guarantee/refund or cite the exact published policy language making that questionnaire mandatory.
The bush said it was deer proof. The deer didn't eat it but they sure as heck rubbed their antlers on them and killed 9 out of 10 trees. Now I have to put fencing around the bushes... Wish I knew that in the beginning...
All plants i received were fairly healthy looking but died within couple of months and never revived. I lost the window to return.
I placed an order and after waiting for 2 months, cancelled the order. I placed and order last May and cancelled it in July as I still had not received the order with very little feedback as to the reasons for the delay.
I bought 6 1-2 in Italian cypresses. 2 years ago. They come really thin and tiny, but roots were ok, so I planted them. After 2 years they all are alive and beautiful. They are all 4 feet tall now.
This is my second time I buy them.
Good customer service. The trees were damaged through shipment, I called and reported, sent a picture of the damaged, replacement was shipped without hassle.
My previous experience was great.
I had no problem and those Myrtle trees that I got a couple years ago is doing great and most of the time those comes jin very good condition
Thank you for your services
This is THE place to buy for the best selection of mature plants. I don't want to wait 2-3 years for plants to grow and I don't mind paying more for that privilege. My order last year was extremely well packed and all the plants were perfect!
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
