Back in December of last year I made the plunge and ordered for the first time from an online site. Sadly, I didn't do my research and ordered from this horrible site. Being around the holiday season I could understand the longer wait period for my items to be sent, 2 sweaters, but they didn't show up until the end of January. One sweater fit fine, the other... Not even close! Wrong colour, too small, awful cut, not like the picture. So, I sent it back the next day. (Cost more to send it back than my original order!) I did what the site and emails from their Customer Service Team said to do. Then I waited. No notice, no emails, no refund. My item didn't make it back to China until June! Only to be refused and sent back in a record breaking two weeks! Now I'm out the money it cost to buy it, ship it here, ship it back, and I'm still stuck with the sweater that's not gonna fit anyone!
Update: So thanks to this wonderful site (SiteJabber) I was able to get my refund. However, it was not the refund I was promised. I had been in contact with a Fashion Mia agent who wanted to help me get my money *gasp* and was fairly nice. When it came to the total I wanted back, she had a hard time understanding that I'm in Canada. So I paid in CDN dollars. And because of that was hesitant about my total. (I also wanted a refund for the parcel they refused and sent back.) After confirming it was the amount I stated, pictures included, agreed I'd get my "FULL REFUND". Give it a day, there's my refund notification from them. Not stating the amount but simply to confirm with PayPal it went through. Called PayPal, I don't have an account, and what do I find? A mere fraction of the total cost. They only paid back one sweater. Um... What about "FULL" don't you understand? And the new agent that sent the notification had the audacity to mention changing my SiteJabber review to something more positive! I was more than willing to do that... If I got my "FULL REFUND"! You can't agree to a total, change it when you want, and expect a five star rating. That's not how it works.
*****And to all those positive, five star reviewers. Just be thankful you didn't need to send anything back. When it's good, it's good. When it's bad, it's a full on nightmare.
At first I was hesitant to purchase online items but FashionMia made it simple & easy. They have really cute clothes at great prices. Shipping takes a little while, but worth the wait. Thank you FashionMia!
I ordered stuff from this company back in march 2016 and sent several items back and never did receive all items i ordered and still have not been credited... i have sent numerous emails with no response... very disappointed with this site it is definately a scam so please beware

I am still awaiting for refund 38 days later. I have never experienced such delay tactics as this company. I keep asking for my refund which is annoying but on principle i am going to keep at them until they refund back to me. They promise they will refund and wait another few days and apologise for their slow financial department.
They take your money and they have trouble refunding you.
I have shopped online with many many sites and this site is appaling. Nobody to phone. Asked for financial department number so i can found out what the problem in reversing the payment owed to me. Nothing but excuses again.
There should be a department who deals with these sort of companies so we customers can shop without this hassle.
Wouldnt recommend buying here and as you see i am not the only one. All similar reviews.

Yes I ordered a dress on June 11, tracking ID was fake, or invalid. ID should start with letters and end with letters as well. I live in Milpitas northern part of California, very close to San Jose but when tracking the location, it says no such number in Milpitas so package was forward to Ontario, southern part of California and left it with individual. Ontario California is located maybe 6 hours drive away from my home town, what in the world happened with my order. Folks do not be tempted with the cheap price, it is better to buy at the store than ordering here on the website that sounds like real.

GET AN ATTORNEY TO HELP--IT SEEMS LIKE MANY PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME ISSUE WITH FASHIONMIA. I RATED THEM A 1 STAR--LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE MAY HAVE CHANGED IT. I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND. I HAVE ALL THE EMAILS FROM THEM TO PROVE IT. GET AN ATTORNEY TO HELP YOU WITH GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK.
Update: Fashionmia responded with the same information that they have responded with before. They have been saying for the last 7 months that my refund is on the way--7 months later--I am still waiting for it. PLEASE PASS THE WORD--TELL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY- READ OTHERS REVIEWS- THEY WERE SCAMMED AS WELL.

Only three of four items were sent but the money not returned. The three sent items were all damaged and although i sent them back with tracking they did not refund the money and stopped responding to emails... I would give no stars if this was an option and warn anybody not to buy from this site.

After dozens of unanswered emails I now received the refund. Thank you site jabber! It seems internet reviews is the only thing which counts for fashionmia.

I recently received 5 items of clothing from Fashion Mia 4 of which was made of extremely poor material especially the dresses.
I emailed the company as I wanted to return the items and noted on their website that it said any return any items must have a Transaction ID and Order number beginning with B5xxx. My email mentioned that it appears that I hadnt been provided with such information either email or in the packaging. What I did have though was a Paypal transaction ID reference which I uploaded and sent as confirmation.
I quickly received a polite email from Cassie Customer service asking for their transaction ID and order number beginning with B5XXXX. I thought this strange as the absence of this was explained in my email. However to assist further in getting these items returned, I took photos of the packing ID number and item reference numbers (also on packaging. Strangely I received the exact same polite email.
After my own experience and reading some of the reviews I believe Cassie may be bogus and this is a scam. Please do not fall in the same trap as I did. I will not be purchasing any further items from Fashion Mia and will do my best to ensure others I know do not do so either.

FashionMia gave me the best experience. The cloth I ordered for was nothing but perfect, it came as I expected it to be, it made me look good, perfectly my size. The material also was made of high quality, the cuts also was really good. Thanks for job well done.
So I bought two dresses, items arrived that were nothing like what I ordered. They tell me they'll send replacements of my choice if I keep the dresses. I select replacements, I'm told they've been shipped. They give me a bogus tracking number. They tell me to wait 8 days, track it then. I wait 8 days. Wait 5 more. Still not showing in the system. Wait 3 more. Same deal. I filed a complaint on PayPal and then they send me an out of stock notice. The $#*!ers never sent the items and lied the entire time. Trying to get my money back. $#*!ty products. Not anything like what's described or seen. Scammy company and shady as hell. Buyer beware. They flat out lied to me and tried to make me ship their crap products back at my cost despite the deficiencies, promised me a replacement and failed to come through.
EDIT: So, on here they said they were going to give me a refund, but via email I've received nothing but insulting messages saying they can't refund me until I close my Paypal claim. They keep telling me if I promise to close my claim, they'll be sure to refund me within 5 days. They keep saying they don't want to be investigated. Here's the thing, they sent me an offer for $15 after I forwarded the dispute to paypal. SO, YES, they can refund me while the dispute is open. You have to wonder how many people have fallen for this and ended up not getting their money back. The moment you close your dispute, you no longer have protection. They're banking on you buying into their lies, it seems. Oh, and I just got a refund. But, "we can't refund you while your claim is open". What utter BS.

My first time ordering. Shipping was a little long but expected. Sizing wasn't suitable. As soon as I contacted Fashion Mia they addressed the problem and will be sending me a new size. Quality of product was great! Will order again!
I pre-shop a lot on the Internet before going to a store in order to save time (I am a busy working mom), but I rarely buy through the internet. We hear horror story about all sorts of scams. I had seen the Fashion Mia publicity while surfing the Internet and always wondered if it was too good to be true. So, I decided to give them a chance because there was on their website this beautiful dress at a very decent price. So, I got myself a prepaid Visa card and chose the cheapest delivery fee available to limit my lost if it was indeed a scam. At one point I got worried because the parcel tracking system didnt seem to work properly. I dont mind the wait as long as I get what I selected. So, I contacted them and I was told that the delivery I chose could take up to a month to get from China to Canada. The dress arrived eventually and fitted perfectly (no problem with the size chart provided). So, yes I will reorder from that company. One suggestion for improvement, provide more details on the item such as fabric composition, style (fitted, loose), washing/ironing precaution.
I placed an order in March for a wedding in April. Three weeks later, I inquired on the shipment. It still had not shipped. Because of the time the shipping would take, the package would not arrive until after the wedding. I canceled the order. I was told I would receive a refund in 7-15 business days. I am still waiting.

It was a nightmare from the time I contacted them. I ordered 8 items. I wish I had read the reviews first. After at least a dozen e-mails they offered to give me $10 credit for each POSITIVE review I would post for them. They were not willing to send me items to replace the ones that did not fit. It was like, "let's make a deal" my advice to you, don't bother!

Answer: At this point you might wait to get your order and then if not right then send back. It is going to cost alot of $ to return items because they go back to China and it is very EXPENSIVE! Good luck! It was a Nightmare for me!
Answer: Cancel. My advice is to just cancel. They haven't shipped their garbage yet, so if it's not too late, it's your best bet. The quality is the worst and they are extremely rude and unhelpful. If it's too late dispute directly with your credit card company or PayPal (whichever you used)

Answer: Yes. This Company and their "products" are in China. The shipping cost to return merchandise is the purchaser's responsibility and is often equal to the cost of what your purchased. I chose to take a $15.00 refund instead of Paying full postage to return the merchandise in order to get a refund. In order words it would have cost me $30 to receive of refund of $30. I hope you are satisfied with your purchase. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!

They responded usually within 24 hours, however never quite answered any of my questions or concerns. Then they slapped a bogus tracking number on my order and have not responded to a single email since 12/21/15. Still no order received or even able to track. They are a sad joke on me.
