We own retail property across the street from Family Dollar, 2594 Main Street, Springfield, MA. The store is always littered with loose garbage in front of the store and throughout the parking lot. On a windy day, the trash makes its way to neighboring properties. A store is only as good as its manager. This store has very poor to non existent management. No one policing grounds in the morning. No one answers the phone. Not a single trash receptable was placed outside when the store was constructed. If you want to make money off of poor people or low income communities, those poor people become your customers. A good business model may be to treat your customers and surrouding community with a bit more dignity, not contribute to their poverty.
So tired of going to the hutchins texas store and them on there phone they don't get off there phone to even say thank you and don't have time from talking on phone are texting to even speak to the customer the breaking all phone policy if I need to go to a different store to get customer curiosity please let me know 972=338=0634
I went into your establishment 7/29/22 and as i was walking in i observed one of your employees sitting in their vehicle smoking and as i entered i noticed noone around the counter which is a very bad thing because anyone could have walked in and stole merchandise very bad work ethics. So i had walked around to see if someone was available to help me i noticed there was an employee in the stockroom so i proceeded to get items that i needed and when i finished i went to the counter to pay for my items i observed a female by the name of brittany leaned over the counter and refused to wait on me and also she had a bag to which what looked like a deposit bag laying on the counter in the open which in itself is dangerous i waited to be helped by the cashier which was doing nothing but leaning on the counter only forher to ring a bell and i was told the other cashier would help me. Sorry to say i will no longer come to your establishment because of bad work ethics and being treated so poorly. As a paying customer i feel i should have been treated with more respect. Sorry to say but i will go to dollar general to do all of my transactions from now on. Ty so much...
The last time I was in the store I had seen some desk lights. I came back to the Yucaipa Family Dollar with my granddaughters so one could pick out a light for her desk. I couldn't remember what isle they were on so I asked the woman(Elizabeth) who was behind the counter where the desk lights were at. She said "I'm not understanding your question". So I said, a light for a desk, and then noticed that there was one in the corner of the store just past the counter and it said lamp on it. So lamp, light, same thing. So I said here is one right here. She said OK. And I said the last time I was in, another employee and shown me more on an isle with different colors and if she could show me where they were as I had forgot what isle they were on. She said walk a couple of isles down and go right and you will see them. I asked if she could show me and she no that she was busy. There were no customers at the register and another employee behind the counter, and I guess that started it. I said you don't look busy. She said you do not know how busy I am. With employees like that no wonder why your store reviews are so low. What happened to customer service. Then she started arguing with me and asked me and my seven year old and four year old granddaughters to leave the store. So we left the store without buying anything. The employees name is Elizabeth, and she was very rude. Every time I have been in the store there are always different employees. I guess good help is hard to find, and that's to bad. It is nice when you go into a store and see the same faces and helpful employees who don't want to argue with you.

Every worker at w. 130th family dollar has a rude attitude. Ten minutes b4 they close the workers r rushing u out the door. The prices on the shelf r not the same as what they charge. I am fed up with this store!+รท
I left a bag behind because cashier never told me it was sitting right next to her! I finally realize my husband did not bring it in and i never got it I go back to get it! The two cashiers were rude saying well it was right here Well really then why didn't you tell me! Then on top of that they insisted one bottle was smaller when it was not! Im ready to leave and she tells me $ 11.00 im no i already Paid for it! Her staring at me rudely! And she knew shd says Well it was sitting here for 2 days Really! Her being rude! What happened to good customer service They should fire both of those cashiers! And i was ripped off i had to take a smaller bottle then i got she could of looked up my receipt with my phone numbe if they wanted to see me Happy lesson learned check for everything here before paying
I went to the Eudora, Kansas store to buy diet cokes. They were on sale, three 12-can cartons for $12. There were only 2 cartons in the store so I asked the manager if I could get them for $8. She said the price was programmed into the computer and she could not override the computer. Besides, if she did, her DM would be upset with her.
So I asked her if I could get a raincheck and she said, "Raincheck? What's that?"
Apparently they don't do rainchecks!
What a way to run a store!
The managers cursed me out and called the police about my money. Store 608 Birmingham AL, bad store! The store is very hood! I wouldn't tell my enemy to shop here! The guy name was Pookie
THE STORE HAS PRICES ON THE SHELVES BUT WHEN I GOT HOME THEY CHARGED A DIFFERENT PRICE THE SHELF PRICE WAS 8.75 THEY CHARGED ME 12.25 I WENT BACK AND TALKED WITH THE STORE MANAGER AND SHE REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SAYING SOME OF THE PRICES HAVE NOT BEEN CHANGED SINCE 2017 I TOLD HER I WOULD CONTACT FAMILY DOLLAR AND SHE SAID GO AHEAD! THIS WAS IN LUSK WYOMING STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

The two lady workers went out of their way to help me, even running after me when I left to say they found what I was looking for, awesome! At a time when Famous burger places treat you like crap, just because you need some napkins that they did not put in your bag. Bravo to you two ladies, store at Las Vegas Blvd and Cheyenne
I found the employees were cheerful, and gladly helped me find what I needed. The store was very clean, and organized.
So normally I don't complain but this is the third time I've had a bad experience here, the first time the lady cashing me out rang up an item twice and when we told her she refused to take it off and this past time I went in today to buy some blocked cheese and when I cut it open over half was completely covered in mold so I went to either get a refund or get it replaced and got told they wouldn't do it
On april 13th@2:20 pm I went to the store in bessemer al and it was horrible. I went in to get snacks for the beauty shop and both cashiers were doing absolutely nothing and boxes were everywhere of products that need to be stocked. One cashier was leaning on the counter and the other cashier was on her phone texting. I asked where I could find the redbulls and the cashier that stated her name was Erica said "they are where your looking but on the other side, but I was looking at her so I didn't know what she meant but I found it anyway. I get to the register to purchase my items in Erica's line. I have to enter my card number into the machine manually because it won't swipe and I'm waiting for another card. I told her that I have to put the card in manually, and she asked me what did I say. I spoke a little louder because I'm thinking to myself she may not have heard me with my mask on. So when I did speak a little louder (I wasn't rude or anything) she bucks her eyes at me and she loudly asks "are you ok?" Which I respond "I'm doing good and I asked was she doing ok today" and not in the loud tone she asked me. She tells me to move to the next register to be served then she tells me that I need to leave because they won't be serving me. I'm never going to that store again and neither is anyone else from the beauty shop. The beauty shop has a lot of customers that come through and they HAVE ALL been told about what happened to me and will no longer patronize the store. Now I go to Walmart or dollar general to get snacks where my business is appreciated and I'm treated with the same dignity and respect I show them. Family dollar lost a lot of loyal customers with that one transaction
This is the definition of bad customer service, it's sad when you have to wait to spend money! The time is now 8:07a and the store opens at 8am and yet the employees will not open the door please see attached pic. Lights are on but the employees are hiding in the back of the store I guess? It is now 8:10a yet no one will come open the door it is now 5 of us waiting to go inside this family dollar if you don't believe check your cameras family dollar your employees do not want to work! One customer just left to go to Walmart lol if these are the kind of people family dollar uses to work in their stores I guess we will be seeing more Dollar Tree Stores taking over these sorry stories and now a second customer has left so sad Family Dollar do yourself a favor hire employees that are willing to work and open your stores on time, because if you don't Dollar Tree will be replacing a lot more of Family Dollar stores! The time is now 8:17a and no one has even made an attempt to come open the door and yet we're still standing outside! I'm gone Family Dollar sucks p.s. if you don't believe check your cameras from 8:00a to 8:20am, guess what another customer has gone what a sorry excuse for a business. I AM SO DONE WITH FAMILY DOLLAR!

Went to Family Dollar in Weatherford with my daughter. I paid with my card and checked yes 50.00 for cashback. This infuriated the cashier. (I didnt see the sign lol). She hatefully said "at least you could have told me I just changed out my register". She then counted out 5s and ones (hatefully) in a crooked pile picked them up and slammed them back down towards me. I realize people like this arent worth the time and they could care less about their job or the customer. I let people like this roll off me like raindrops. But my daughter is still a lil stubborn and thinks there is something you can say or do about these people. Instead of following me out of the store she thot she would wait till the 3 customers behind me left and confront her. The cashier looked at her and said " you can just leave". Of course my daughter responded with " no you can just leave". The cashier replied with " You can just suck a $#*!". Lol she walked out phone in hand to contact someone with a complaint. Spent 20 minutes trying to do so with no luck. She'll learn as she gets older peopke like that could care less about losing their job, and 9 times out of ten certain business'/ companies could care less about the character of the people they employ. All you can really do is avoid them. I hope she never runs into this poor excuse of human again, and Never does business with Family Dollar in Weatherford Oklahoma again.
So this manager at the montana location on east El Paso TX. Kicked me out as soon as she saw me for no reason. You can see everything through cameras. She pulled a spray from my hand and was kicking me out all the way to the door and told me ugly words. You can see in the camera that i clearly did not do anything. Very horrible and very unprofessional of her. Her name is Rocio and she is the general manager. Very unprofessional of Family dollar if she's the one who runs the store.
I came into the store and seen the manager talking to a guy. The manager was saying " F**K this. I asked him if he was the manager ( I already knew he was) He said " Yes I am!" I said then you may want to act more professional. He said " Well if you don't like the way I run my store. Then you can get the F**K OUT!" There was a woman customer in the next aisle and she said couldn't believe how the manager talked to me. Is this the kind of people Family Dollar wants representing their stores?
