I had a awesome experience finding the car I want from fair in my price range. It was such a smooth process it's also very easy to use. I would highly recommend this app to other people looking for a affordable car in there price range.

If you live in Los Angeles... there were 0 cars in my area of San Francisco. Only in LA. So if I bought a car I'd have to fly or find a way to LA to pick the car up... which is more of a hassle than just going to a dealership.

No stress
June 30, 2018

They design this program with the consumer in mind. No stress sales you pick the payments best for you and not lock into a contact like everything now a days and you give it back when you want to. Do the maintenance

Actual Fair Review
July 2, 2018

Not a paid review. Long story short but a majority of places do not offer the maintenance coverage roadside assistance and other perks of leasing through fair. However if you're like me your credit is either poor or non-existent which means you won't qualify for most of those fancy lease deals that dealerships offer. That's where this app wins out. They will take a soft pull of your credit and if you have any repos

Is there a way to "browse" cars before inputting my license information? If I go to a dealership or shop on line I can look at vehicles

From the start I understood this was not the way to get into a vehicle for me. However since I'm a vehicle enthusiast (car guy) I had to check out the app and see what it was all about. My take: if you don't know cars and a Tacoma TRD. Each was over $500/mo with over $1K down. Seems to me I could do better searching on CL or EBay for private party vehicles of similar age/miles and have financing lined up through my own bank. I don't care for the misleading example images. Example: for a Dodge Challenger they show a photo of the 700 hp HellCat version when you click on it to get more info you can see actual images of the car listed and it's a standard 5.7L Hemi version of the car. Again something a non car person will not ever notice or care about. All in all this is a simple way for average drivers to get educated about what they could get for their $."

This is what I dream about long time ago after getting ripped off big time by Santander. This app is good for people have less than perfect Credit Scores who want to have decent car to go to work and rebuilding credit. If this business model works it will drive other used car dealers and loan shark lenders like Santander and the like away. Thanks.

The app seems interesting. But I was caught off guard by the initial questions you guys ask. Asking for my drivers lic info right off the bat is too quick. Not that I have anything to hide. Lol. My record is good and I have a valid license. My issue was with you having all my info so quickly. And could use it for advertising purposes. I would have liked to check out the how the app is set up

I used it and tried to get on once again and now it just sends me to a Market page that's telling me that my area isn't on the market... so because my area isn't in the market I can't use the app? I'm 30 minutes away from Chicago. I can search in Chicago. That's annoying and should be changed immediately.

I was super excited about this app" to "do you have sufficient funds available?" After restating that I was having issues with all forms of payment and that I indeed had sufficient funds I got the same reply "I've sent it to the engineering department. You'll receive an email in 24 hours." While checking back every 24-48 hours as to the status of my issue the app made me go through the sign up process a few times. Eventually I chatted with someone who said there are now multiple accounts and they worked to delete all the duplicates. I was told to wait 24-48 hours and then I should be able to sign back in and proceed. 48 hours later I sign in and get a message that my email address can't be verified because it belongs to another account. All of these issues have been going on since the end of June. It's a great idea but from my experience

Such as your phone number and drivers license even before you get to look at any cars and before you decide if you want to buy anything. I am interested in seeing what's available but I don't want to share all this personal/sensitive information before I decide on a purchase. Uninstalling.

• sign up is simple but you'll need to upload your information constantly. •fair "concierges" (chat help) respond promptly but aren't very helpful by giving you some ‘copy and paste' answer instead of actually reading your question. •if a deal you have is pending I was really excited to upload my license and payment information but i'm super disappointed with the process. Once my deal "went through" i was called by a Fair rep to share the news about getting closer in the process and that my contract would be ready in the app soon. You would think they would send an email or send notifications like "hey do you still want this car?" or anything because i was waiting and checked the app for the next 24 hours but nothing. Then less than 48 hours the dealership cancelled the deal. Not a problem because the car was still available however in those days my son has lost my license and in order for me to select the deal again guess what? I had to re-scan my license for the umpteeenth time. I still need a car and would only use fair because of no other options."

I have somewhat bad credit. I had been denied at most places and the only place that would let me buy/lease a car would of ripped me off in interest. I had my down payment

They really need to work out their deals with the cars and be able to bring down their prices for what they offer and make it comparable to what you would pay if you went to an actual dealership with money down. I was looking into getting something off of here to drive Uber with and honestly NO THANKS. I read on-line the horrors of others and friends being footed a bill of $$$$$ for the week even if the car is in the shop (Uber drivers/lyft) and getting repossessed for lack of payment. Lol NO THANKS

From the business

Fair is a new way to get a used car that lets you lease a pre-owned vehicle completely digitally – and for as long as you want. Use your phone or the web to shop cars with monthly payments that fit your budget, get approved in-app, sign for the one you want with your finger, then drive it month-to-month for ultimate flexibility, or on a 2-year or 3-year lease if you want the best value.
