They said they will help me get a car so I can drive for Uber
I first thought that fair and the lease of my this car was an answer to my questions about getting wheels
I had a similar experience with the whole "car being sold" situation. I signed paperwork and paid my downpayment. A few hours later I happened to catch a notification stating my transaction had been canceled-that flashed across the screen of my phone but was not stored anywhere in the fair app. Fair did offer to waive my starting pay cost and refund my original downpayment
I wish we would have had more choices of vehicles to choose from.
Very enjoyable experience Cassie and joe were extremely helpful was in and out of dealership in a jiffy
Customer Service Representative by the name of Aaron Branch was very helpful & knowledgeable about my return process! Since this was the first time doing so Aarons attention to detail
400. I also added in the fair insurance excess wear & tear protection and additional miles (2500 extra for a total of ******* annually) for a monthly total of approximately $372. I was approved within an hour and waited about another 30 minutes for Fair to verify with the dealership that my car was still available and ultimately ready for pickup. Soon after the confirmation I selected a time for pickup (same day at 6pm) and was quickly sent a confirmation via email and the app with a contact person at the dealer ship. I got on the app to ask fair a few questions via chat about billing and logistics of my car pickup. The associate (Emily I think) was very knowledgeable thorough and helpful. I also the dealership to verify with my contact person that the car was ready for pickup. I was told that the car was ready and could be picked up even sooner (which was about 3pm). I got a ride to the dealership and everything was ready to go. No issues other than I had to wait about 30 minutes for them to finish up a smog certification. As a courtesy
If I could give a negative 100 rating you don't see that in your system?" He stated that NOTHING had been done mind you I am still waiting for my refund! This same person called me back on February 14 and said that he was still looking for answers. He called me again on February 15 and at this point I refused to answer my phone and he asked to call them back. I called and the new representative said they didn't even have record that my start payment was taken out of my account and asked that I send a screenshot of my agreement. How sad is this? What kind of business practices are these? I am STILL waiting on my refund and they have one more week to get it to me! This has been the worst experience in customer service I have EVER had! I usually don't write reviews like this but I want to warn the public not to engage this business as I do not want anyone to go through what I have!"
I was about to write about bunch of annoying bugs with filters and car list loading
App is not user friendly and poor customer service
I have been trying to shop for a uber car for weeks & the app is keep giving me the message "oops something went wrong". Fair cannot seem to get it right. It's a headache.
Fair is a new company so everything isn't completely smooth
Uber drivers in SF Bay Area: read on. I was really impressed with the intelligent confusion or exception cases that we've all become accustomed to while renting rideshare cars. All the ""paperwork"" is done before you arrive so all there is to do is look at your vehicle and get your keys minimizing your wait time. 70 rides and the car's free and there's an additional bonus tier to replace Quest. If you're messing with Lyft's Express Drive or Hertz trust me it is not worth it anymore. Switch now to Fair-Uber and drive less for more money (bjywu if you need an Uber referral code and sign-on bonus). I have tried virtually every Uber and Lyft rental service (or con) under the sun: Enterprise Uber
You guys would probably get more customers if you lets everyone get insurance through fair. Just a tip
I really don't have nothing bad to say about Fair. I've been with them for a few months now and any little problem i might have they are willing to help or fix. Their customer service is amazing and so far my experience has been great.
The best car service ever wish amazing selection of cars and easy application that has no commitments tied up contracts The best service app ever
They gave me the car that a month after driving it (800 miles a month plan) required full brakes change (over $800) which they don't cover. They're lying when they say they do full inspection on cars before they give it to customers. They just clean it up and give you cars that aren't good for driving Uber it Lyft anymore
So I initially heard of Fair due to word of mouth and decided to move forward because of the flexibility on the lease. I moved from NY to CA and still had a NY license. So found my car I ordered looked up dealerships in the area found the dealership and called them myself. I told the dealer I put in an order for a car via Fair 3 days ago and guess what? The dealer NEVER RECEIVED THE ORDER. So now I call Fair once again and ask them to completely cancel my order and that I'd restart it and try again. I know the car I want I know the dealer and have already been in contact. They cancel my order. But the car I originally wanted is now not available on the app. I wait 1 day and the next day the car is back on the app. FOR A HIGHER PRICE. I contact the dealer "did you change the price for the car?"..."nope." Fair did. So now it's been about 3 weeks I've been dealing with Fair and I still don't have a car. Thanks Fair for three weeks of stress!"
Thinking this was a brilliant new and EASY TO USE service I was told the same thing don't worry they're in the mail. I reached out again to say "the plates expire this week". I was told there is some error and I need to send s pic of the temp plates. I did this... suddenly it wasn't "it takes 90 days" now it was an error. The plates expired. I live in an unforgiving big city. I now have $260 in tickets (that's just two tickets) with no solution in sight. I don't have a garage so I have to just expect a new ticket each time I park. On the most recent chat (where I was once again told I had "definitely reached the right person" for the 500th time
Amazing app helped me buy my first car thank you guys so much!
Fair is a new way to get a used car that lets you lease a pre-owned vehicle completely digitally – and for as long as you want. Use your phone or the web to shop cars with monthly payments that fit your budget, get approved in-app, sign for the one you want with your finger, then drive it month-to-month for ultimate flexibility, or on a 2-year or 3-year lease if you want the best value.
