I am extremely pleased with the top notch service from fair. I found the exact vehicle I was looking for on the app congratulated me and handed me the keys. The fair representative from the area Mark even stopped by to make sure I had an awesome experience. As far as the money there's no way I could have got the same vehicle for the same payment and start payment! This is the future! Well done fair!"
I'm near the end of my current lease and I just downloaded this app. Amazing. I don't want to be tied down any longer
I'm the perfect fair customer - unsure how long I'll need the car but I know it's at least months so I don't want to rent. Fair presents very ‘fair' pricing with open ended end dates so you're not jammed in with a car you don't want. Sarah N a rep contacted me directly with a coupon and guided me through the process like my own personal angel. The dealer in Huntington Beach had the car in perfect shape and were really kind and patient. And Matt D from corporate followed up personally and was enthusiastic and genuine. I highly recommend Fair. You'll be glad you jumped in.
It seems like a killer idea if starting payments were not included. This is a clever way for this business to own what you should own. If you wanted to solve a problem for the customers you should eliminate the starting payments altogether.
I was really nervous at first but I ended up going through with the process
Anxious to sign up for months versus a Hertz/Lyft deal so I had to fill up across the street. The Hybrid should be getting me 36/40 mpg but depending on the gas type it's just 32/35. I awakened to a nail in my tire and got it patched for $20 elsewhere after Firestone wanted to sell me a new tire for $127. Dante in Fair Customer Service/Phoenix has been exemplary in doing his utmost to make things right for me and make me come away feeling good about Fair. Companies are their employees and it's specifically Dante's extra efforts that make me feel positive about Fair. An indifferent or bad Rep makes any company look bad and results in negative word of mouth. Dante is a sterling example of exactly the kind of Rep Fair needs to succeed."
After hearing these horrific stories there is no way! I can buy a car with no money down at 130 a month I am sorry I gave them my license # and Email. I can rent a car from enterprise way cheaper I was going to drive for Uber my car and truck was to old and thought I could make enough money with a rental working full time not through fair. This seems like a way for people with bad credit a option to buy a car I feel like it's taking advantage.
I had a really amazing experience with a customer service rep
Asked me my information as soon as I downloaded it. Couldn't even look at the actual app. No thanks!
I downloaded the app and a very progressive idea that is to be expected. I think that issues people are having are things that could and will eventually be improved upon. Process and logistical improvements are how companies grow. And making changes over time I think Fair will be trailblazing its way into the future. I only gave 4 stars since I didn't get the full experience and I think the qualification process shouldn't be a requirement just to browse. I suggest maybe consulting with a car rental companies. The reason I say that is I rented a car one time and when I was there a gentleman there used them to get a car instead of traditionally buying one. I did the math
Fair's employees really do care about getting customers to s resolution.
I truly hope this is the future of car buying! I picked out my truck. Went to the dealership
They store your drivers license on file as a signature. Can't find a way to remove my license from their system and delete my account!
Why don't you allow a new user to see how the app works before asking them for a much of personal info? You're turning off a lot of potential users myself included.
I had just sold my car and was looking for a new one when I decided to give Fair a try. Super happy that I did! I got a great car that I can give back anytime (who knows where life will take me) and the price I wanted. Didn't have to do anything except sign on my phone and then show up to get the car. Big shout out to Matt Dowley for some excellent customer service too.
I'm wondering what the advantages are for this app
Customer service is nice but no one knows how to do much or what's going on with your account? 1. I get text reminders about incorrect due payments AFTER I returned my car. 2. They rented me a "rideshare" ready car that had no A/C (Jeep renegade). This wasted a week of being on the phone convincing them because they didn't believe me and then scheduling the return. 3. They confirmed a car was available to rent when it was not. 4. The dealership that I picked my car up demanded that I sign paperwork even though fair claims it's all online. 5. I had to wait 10 days to return my car Paying in full every day. 6. My Fair app wouldn't work for a month. Even though they documented the issue and said other people were experiencing the same thing I never received an update or a solution.
Seems cool but You have to give them a lot of information up front just to look. I don't want to give you my info yet.
I picked my start payment and amount and waited for them to confirm with the dealer. Later I got an update from the app saying the car was available. Despite that update the app said they were still confirming with the dealer. I chatted with them and kept getting disconnected but essentially they said keep waiting. So I did and after a couple days the order disappeared from the app but the car was still listed if you search for it. I chatted again and they said the order was canceled because they didn't hear back from the dealer. Ok so why didn't they notify me of that and why is the car still listed as available in the app. Not ready to give up I try again for a second car. The dealer confirmed within an hour or two and I signed all the docs in the app. I confirmed pick up times with the dealer and within chat. The dealer was AMAZING. The sales guy Jeff McPike showed me everything there was to know about the car. The car itself is perfect. So there are still a lot of technical and process things they need to work through but the experience with the second car was pretty top notch and impressive. It's such a cool idea that I really think is the future."
This honestly is the BEST way to get a car! It is easy go pick it up and you have your car! I love it. I love my car. And I will keep it as long as I can to only use the service again for another car in the future. I am still smiling as to how easy all this was. Customer service is also amazing :) Highly recommended and ping me if u want a coupon discount! Chi."
Fair is a new way to get a used car that lets you lease a pre-owned vehicle completely digitally – and for as long as you want. Use your phone or the web to shop cars with monthly payments that fit your budget, get approved in-app, sign for the one you want with your finger, then drive it month-to-month for ultimate flexibility, or on a 2-year or 3-year lease if you want the best value.
