Bad for business

I placed a order april 8,2020 here its May 29,2020 still no package So I call there *******072 been on hold for 30 minutes this company is full of BS they email 3 weeks ago using covid 19 as a excuse

Worst place to buy
May 26, 2020

I've waited for my product for a month they just told me it 45 to 60 more days, it was a mistake to try to order from here. Places like this shouldn't exist. I just went to the store and bought the fabric it took me 20 minutes.

Horrible Service

Ordered fabric on April 19. It is now May 22 still no fabric. Contact company several times and told it was cutting and shipping each time in next couple days. Still nothing. They sure took my money quick enough and no product. Reported to BBB

Buyers beware...

I ordered from this company April 21, and I have yet to get my fabric, tracking number or a refund. When I email them the only thing I get in return is a message about covid 19. Buyers beware

I ordered my fabric on April 12 20 it still haven't arrived to me here in Ga... I know Covid 19 slowed things down a bit but come on A MONTH... no email no calls no nothing from them... I even put in notes that I needed it very soon... i wanted to have my wedding veil made from this... that won't happen now i wasted my money and time... it was my 1st experience with this company... NEVER AGAIN

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had with our company. We saw from our investigation that your order was delayed due to the sudden demand for facemask fabrics due to Covid-19.

During this period, we prioritized orders from front-line workers such as doctors, nurses, and hospitals in order to do our very best to help curb the spread. I've attached a link below to the Newsday article that featured Fabric Wholesale Direct's work during this time.

Unfortunately, as a result of these efforts, some orders were delayed for longer than expected. However, now that we have gotten further from the initial outbreak, Fabric Wholesale Direct has returned to its normal delivery times of 7-10 business days for all orders.


As for the lack of response from our customer service team, this is absolutely NOT the standard for our company. We pride ourselves on servicing customers with the utmost care, respect, and timeliness. We've since added additional customer service reps to improve our response times to no more than 24 hours.

Order 5 different yards of fabric, tod it would take 7to 10 days to ship... then they told me 15 to 30 days to ship when I asked them where my order was. Tried calling them on day 33after order placed with no person to talk to. Finally shipped after I opened up a case with PayPal after 37 days from ordering date. Get order and 2yards are missingg with a scratched out invoice saying those would be refunded... still waiting on refund... lesson of the story... DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Update: the company has reached out to me and has offered a resolution for the terrible experience from this... I am big believe on second chances and am going to be giving them a risk free try again. They did offer me compensation. If they get it right this time around I'll become a regular costume. I will give another update once I place my next order but for now I'm moving my one star to 4 star because to the costumer service that I am am getting right now. I am hoping that I'm not let down again... time will tell.

I placed an order and received an order confirmation and then heard nothing for four weeks. I tried to call (no answer) and email (no response) before finally threatening to dispute charges with my credit card company. I finally got a refund FIVE WEEKS laterthey just never packed and shipped the order. STAY AWAY! They may have been okay once but not any more!

Apparently the site has changed because the other reviews make this website sound nightmarish. I stopped shopping at JoAnn's and gave this site a try since I had two return my fabric to JoAnn's three times after buying it in the store because the fabric pretty much fell apart as soon at I cut my pattern out. I ordered navy satin and teal cotton jersey fabric, they arrived within 2 weeks. The wait was worth it, they're great quality. I bought them on Black Friday, I have no regrets: the prices and quality are so much better than a JoAnn's fabric store. There's no smell, and it's exactly what I ordered. I took some photos when I received it. The shiny one is the navy satin.

I will never buy from this company again. I don't care how "competitive" their prices are.

I ordered two pieces of fabric a yard each on 6/03/19. I waited until 6/12/19 to call them because I hadn't received any shipping info by that point. I figured I'd give the benefit of a doubt that they just hadn't reached my order yet.

On the 12th, I was put on hold for 5 min as the rep "checked my status". If I can see the status of "unfulfilled" on my end and he was given the order number AND could list the details of my order back to me, HE ALSO SAW the status was unfulfilled on his end. This was code for, "we don't have the order prepared, and now I need to ask what B. S. I'm supposed to tell the customer".

Sure enough, he came back with B. S. saying that my order shipped the previous night and that I would be recieving tracking information THAT NIGHT.

I'm sure that if I called a different day, the order would have been shipped the night before then as well.

Also not sure how it takes 24 hours to get tracking of an item that supposedly has already shipped. But at 11:47 pm, I received an email with my tracking number and a delivery date of 6/14/19.

Interesting, seeing as how I paid for standard shipping of 5-7 days. But I'm not going to complain about that part because they had already sat on my order for over a week.

And when I looked at the tracking history it stated that a shipping label had been created on 6/04/19--The DAY AFTER I placed my order. It also said it was accepted at USPS Origin Facility on 6/12/19. If you remember that was the day I called them.

To top it all off: the fabrics smell. One of my fabric pieces was cut so badly that I am missing a good 6 inches on one end. The other white fabric has marks that I cannot get off.

I purchased trellis blue fabric for outdoor cushions, knowing the material was water resistant. I live in Maine and do not have scorching daily sunshine; in fact, the cushions were predominantly under an awning, taken inside in the evening and because of rainy days, they have been outside for a total of less than 20 hours.
I am disappointed and dissatisfied to say the least. The fabric has turned purple! There is no question about it. A guest walked on to our deck and said, "Wow, you've got purple cushions! Never thought you'd do something like that!".
I knew that after about 500 hours, there was the possibility of fading. This is not fading but a color change.
I contacted the company several times and all they could suggest was a discount on a future order, knowing I would not order form them again. "Customer service" was a joke.

I ordered from this company twice. The first order went fine and I was glad to find a good supplier for fabric. When I received my second order from them two of the pieces of fabric I ordered were damaged. One had fading and the other was stained and had serging at the end. It also smelled like burnt plastic. When I contacted them for a return they asked for photos which I sent. Then they asked if I wanted a refund or an exchange. I replied and then never heard from them again. That was about a month ago. The customer service is terrible, the quality of the fabric makes it unusable. I am out money now for a piece of fabric that they charge $22.99 per yard for. They have ignored the last three emails I sent them. I know now that I'm not getting my money back so I'm posting this review in case anyone else is thinking of ordering from them.
