I shop here all the time! I absolutely adore FWD, and their prices can't be beat. They have an impressive selection and very nice quality fabrics. I'm a cosplayer and Im often on a budget so I come here regularly to purchase my materials for my cosplays and I've never been disappointed, everything has been absolutely wonderful quality and I always look forward to buying from FWD! Shipping can sometimes take a minute, but it's usually arrives within a week/week and a half max. I definitely recommend them to all of my fellow cosplayers and costuming friends!

I order a lot of fabric for making quilt blocks. I've always been totally pleased with the quality of the fabric. The frosting on the cake is that the company itself has wonderful customer service and their reps are pleasant to work with. Very pleased with the shipping times and options as well.

Every time I have used the web site it has worked perfectly! You can not ask for any more out of a company! The delivery was about 5 days early!

I have ordered from them many times and this is second time were their shipping is taking more then two weeks to ship. On their website it says orders over$99.00 ship for free in 7-10 days. Exactly two weeks to day today and I just received portion of my fabric. Lady I talked to doesn't even have a clue where the rest of my fabric is. They do not care that my business will not be able to deliver my products in time.I will no longer do business with them.

This fabric place has the best prices. They ship the fabric very fast. Their fabric are always in stock. Will buy again.

I always Love the fabrics I order. Sometimes I'm surprised by the pattern. It is better and more beautiful than the pictures. I Love shopping this site.

I'm making three outfits for my daughters & I for an upcoming wedding. I ordered samples of several velvet colors, as I knew I wanted black, and my daughters had their eyes on plum & teal. As a photographer, I know how tricky it is to photograph fabric of this type, and render correctly on screen. A couple of the swatches didn't quite match the screen color, so when colors were chosen, I went with the SKU, disregarding photos on the website. However, the yardage I received matched the web photo, and was way off from the swatch! FWD was super helpful, and sent me yardage in the color I was aiming for, stating the wrong swatch was stapled to the SKU card. The new shipment is still slightly different, so I'm wondering if there was a third color offered at one time, or consistency issues in manufacturing. No biggie, as the teal yardage I have is close enough now! Images attached to show swatches of Teal & Turquoise. The yardage on right was ordered using the Turquoise SKU (actual yardage matches site photos, not swatch). Replacement yardage on left was sent using Teal SKU - close, but not a true match. Photos taken in incandescent & daylight. The Plum swatch & yardage matched exactly! Offered for help in deciding. FWD provided amazing customer service! Very friendly, helpful, and speedy. Customer for life.

FWD is an easy website to order fabric from and it shipped and arrives in great time. I've never experienced any problems ordering. I've ordered about 5 colors of the stretch taffeta and it's awesome fabric

It can be difficult to find quality fabric at a decent price point where I live, and FWD came in very handy with my budget. They have lots of fabrics and colors to choose from along with many reviews with pictures that allow me to see what the fabric would truly look like when I purchase.

Upon delivering the ten yard fabric that I ordered they sent me an email giving me the fedex tracking number. Outstanding service!

I ordered vinyl from this site, and paid nearly the same price for shipping as the cost of the vinyl. The company sent it boxed rather than on a roll, and it arrived irreversibly damaged due to colour fading and creasing. Customer service was completely useless for any help. They insisted that the small print at the bottom on the listing of the vinyl excused them from the reasonable expectation that goods be delivered undamaged.

I ordered 8 yards. Apparently anything under 10 yards is sent folded. There is no notice at checkout about them folding the vinyl and no option to upgrade shipping so fabric isn't sent folded. Anyone who's ever worked with vinyl knows you shouldn't fold it.

Despite the fact that the product arrived damaged, I was expected to pay return shipping after already having paid for shipping once.

Go anywhere else for vinyl.

Our cat developed a peeing problem, so rather than buying all new furniture, we decided to cover our existing couch and chair with waterproof fabric. Stumbling on Fabric Wholesale Direct, I was pleased to see that they had videos and explanations of the fabrics, showing how the materials responded to water, crushing, etc. Ordering samples was easy and they arrived with extra fabric information on them (density, etc.) After testing them ourselves, we ordered several yards to make custom couch covers. I haven't sewn the fabric yet, but the fabric reviews also stated that a consumer machine can sew this fabric - no industrial machine needed. I appreciate that! Once these covers are done, we will definitely be buying more fabric to redo the couches downstairs as well. Looking forward to ordering from them again. The process was quick and easy!
