The girls behind the customer service try to act bounty by adding exlamation marks after every sentence, are unprofessional, and provide no real solutions to your problems. I have yet to even receive my first box. I was told that it takes 7-10 business days to ship the box after purchasing the box. It has been 12 business days so far and their response to me was "No worries, your box will ship soon". I really wanted this to be a good experience, but it has not been good and all because their customer service ruined the experience for me. There are many other subscription boxes out there and if fabfitfun doesn't get their **** together, they will have a serious downfall.

I am in Canada and they debit $80.00 for each box. Thats a big chunk of change. The Winter 2016 was our first box. Not impressed at all. A candle. ( could have got something similar at the dollar store, not to mention that it was cracked probably due to the cold). A weekly planner ( not something we will use and again, could have got this at a dollar store). A very plain necklace. Thank you cards (? Really?. No use for this). Mascara ( this item was ok) A face peel, ( might have been cool but it was winter in Canada and this item was frozen and exploded so garbage). Body Cream ( nothing fancy not worth $80) and a little pin in the shape of a star. For $80 on Amazon i could have got so much more that i would actually use. We signed up for this after seeing the Fall 2016 a gorgeous scarf, awesome travel mug, full eyeshadow pallatte, a brush, night serum, neat toe socks, coloring book and pencil crayons for adults, flushable wipes and deodorant. THAT box has stuff pretty well everyone would use. I have already cancelled my subscription. Im sorry but thank you cards and a weekly planner and a candle are not worth my time or money. Fab Fit Fun needs to put more thought into these boxes consistently and have more general use items. Also if you ship to Canada in December... Keep the cold in mind -20 to-40 is common here.

Thank you for your feedback, Jenn! I'm sad to hear that you weren't impressed with your Winter Box. Our team works to curate brand new boxes each season that we hope our members will love but it sounds like we missed the mark for you with your first box. We do send out a survey at the end of every season which helps us learn more about what products worked and didn't work for our members. I hope you had a chance to fill this out! We also appreciate your feedback regarding shipping. We're always looking to improve our shipping process so all feedback helps! I'm sad to hear that your candle arrived cracked. That's definitely not the experience we wish you'd had! I hope you were able to reach out to our customer care team when the box arrived so they could assist you further. I've also privately messaged you if you'd like to chat further, we'd love to help answer any questions you may have.

I receive several subscription boxes and FabFitFun is my absolute fave! Yes, I feel the retail values of some of the items is inflated, but I can tell you I think that is the case will all the subscription boxes. The reality is, even if you "deflate" the value of the items, you get about $150 or more worth of stuff. Or you can look at on a per item basis, $50 divided by 8 items (usually 9), then the price is just over $6 per item. Any way you slice it, it is a great deal. Do I love all the stuff? Nope. But I have found many products that I have never tried before that are now regular purchases because they are the best products I have ever used. It's worth it to me.

I love my fab fit fun boxes! I have always found them well with the money even after the exchange rate to Canada. There are so many items I love that I would never splurge and buy for myself so getting them in a surprise box seasonally is such a great spoil for me! I will keep subscribing for years!

I am from Canada and have been nothing but impressed with this company.

My first box was the Fall 2016 - after seeing the reviews of others I decided to try it out despite the added shipping and exchange rate cost. I didn't receive my box for a few weeks so I called the customer service and the said that I should have received it by now and that it may have been held up as customs. She looked into it right away and I received my box within the week. The contents of the box were amazing and I was beyond impressed. I will also note that they were EXACTLY the items that I had seen in all the reviews (with the different colour variations etc.). I will say that I did not think that the Winter box was as amazing as Fall but I still enjoyed most of the items and the ones I didn't I was able to give as a gift. That's really just a personal preference on my part though.

The theme of these negative reviews seem to be from people who didn't bother to check what box they were getting (Editor's, Fall, Winter etc.) and then were disappointed when it wasn't the box they thought they were getting. I saw the promotion for the Editor's box and noticed that you would get ONE of the options not all of them and that the eyeshadow wasn't a guarantee.

I have also found their customer service to be amazing and very helpful. You can ask question via the chat box on their website and they respond within seconds. After my Fall and Winter boxes I decided to take the plunge and buy an annual subscription (I was slightly disappointed because one of the main reasons was I wanted the seafoam roundie so bad after they posted their spoiler I figured it was worth it for that choice alone - unfortunately that one ended up not being an option and I hate the three options I did get to pick from but I'm still excited about the rest of the box). Either way it's nice to have paid for it all now and to have the year to just enjoy the boxes. Can't wait to see what's in Spring 2017!

Thanks for your positive review, Jessica! We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying your boxes and have received good service so far! I hope you're enjoying your Spring Box. THIS CO. Should be called "Hit or Miss" They show you what you could get, & what they think is similar or close to what they show you. Its hit or miss, I wanted the Editor's Box Lisa Rhinna promo'd, only to get 1 thing of what she shows you. When I got the box, I wanted none of it. What the hell do I need them for, I would rather go to Amazon & get some of what I want, instead of none. Thanks but no thanks, I'M OUT.

Very Impressed!
February 17, 2017

I decided to give Fab Fit Fun a try when I saw Lisa Rinna open her box and I liked what she got. My box arrived in less than 10 days and I received the Editor's box, which I was hoping I would. I got the scarf color I wanted, I loved the nail polish color (wearing it now) especially glad it was Zoya brand as I love them, got the "Inspire" necklace which I was hoping for, got the coffee tumbler I was hoping for, loved the lipstain/tint color and the product itself is awesome, am in love with the hair oil and was impressed it was a glass bottle. My box came undamaged and nicely packaged. I was also happy to even get the coloring book I wanted (nature) I am 39 years old and love the adult coloring book trend and pretty much loved everything in the box. I messed up my account (used the wrong card to pay) and spoke to "May" online who was extremely helpful and issued a refund right away and then re-charged the card I wanted to use. I'm sorry so many people have had trouble with FFF, but I have had nothing but a positive experience so far. I can't wait for the next box to get sent out. I am recommending them to all of my friends.

... in fact they've always been very prompt in responding. I do think they outsource some of this to other countries, though I may be mistaken. But the last reply I received from customer service was from a gentleman in the Philippines.
I am only giving it 3 stars because the add-on items for me have been better than the actual items that are in the subscription box. I have been able to try items at a discounted price that I otherwise would not have purchased. Some I've enjoyed so much that I've purchased them again separately. However, the items in the subscription box have been hugely disappointing. I understand that this is not a personalized box and they must cater to a wide variety of people... but my biggest complaint is the lack of fitness items in the boxes, and the supposed value placed on the items. In the 3 boxes I've received thus far there have been no fitness items other than a bottle of massage oil meant for post work-outs.
Overall I've decided the subscription box isn't for me. If I were in college again or 20 years younger then sure, as a professional though I find the items more suited for my daughter.

Hi Laura! We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear you enjoyed the mineral face peel and zoya nail polish. Research shows that coloring is therapeutic, and can reduce stress and anxiety so we decided this would be a fun addition to our box as we know many of our customers could benefit from a fun way to distress at the end of the day. The coloring book includes a set of pencils which were created in collaboration with Pencils of Promise, a for-purpose organization, which is working to provide quality education for children in developing countries and increasing access to education for those in need. We believe in their vision to bring education to kids all over the world which is why it was an easy decision to partner with them. While we always want every member to be totally in love with each item they receive we understand that not each item will hit the mark for every member but we do try our very best to make sure members always get their money's worth. If you'd like to know more about the Jook and Nona tag necklace they are also a really great brand located in New York, members received one of four sayings: Dream, Inspire, Happy, and Love. Here's a link to read more about Jook and Nona: http://jookandnona.com/about/

The Spring Box begins shipping out next month and we really think you'll like what's inside. If you also prefer to be able to choose things like necklace sayings and certain colors of things you may get we recommend the Annual subscription which allows members to choose certain variations they'd prefer in their boxes each season. We hope our box was able to bring a smile to your face when it arrived and we hope we were able to introduce you to some new brands and products.

I signed up after the winter 2016 box was sold out so I got the editors box instead. And I love it! If you actually read about the editors box it said that the eye shadow pallette was one of the 6 POSSIBLE items you would receive. It was there written in plain black and white. I used the code PURE that they advertised to get my 10$ off and guaranteed eye shadow. I was able to get exactly what I wanted because I READ things before I buy them. Yes the pictures are slightly misleading but if you READ it says those are examples of items you may get or that are items that have been in past boxes.
The customer service is amazing! I accidently signed up for the year subscription because my son was playing with my phone and I had the website open and they without question refunded my money. I have since signed up for the year now that I had the fundsame to do so.
So for everyone who is complaining, honestly you have yourself to blame for not taking the time to fully read about what you are getting.
Also, side note. People are complaining about the winter box because it wasn't as good as the fall. Oh boo hoo. I actually would have loved the winter box. And each box isn't going to be over the top amazing. The products were still awesome and worthe the price you paid. If you aren't getting the exact items yout want then 1. Sign up for the yearly one so you can choose or 2. Just go out and buy specific products. That's not the point of a subscription box.
Love love. And I can't wait for spring 2017!

I came on here yesterday regretting my purchase that I hadn't even received. Everyone was saying that the eyeshadow palette was a hoax. That their products came broken, the nail polish was a horrible colour. So when I got my box today I was nervous. Then I opened it. The scarf is lovely (secretly it's all I really wanted) but then as I began looking at everything there was the holy grail that apparently doesn't exist, the eyeshadow palette. So the palette is amazing, the nail colour is perfect for my brown skin tone. Nothing broken, and so much more than I expected for a box that I got 50% off on. Am I an influencer or a celebrity, ha in my dreams but I did get lucky. Nothing in the box is guaranteed when it's an add on. Remember that and you're golden.

First of all, I think the concept is great. I will address my first issue with FabFitFun. I am a small business owner. The way to gain trust and credibility is to mean what you say and say what you mean. Businesses that are online ONLY do this via advertising and photos of their products. I DO NOT feel that your pictures and advertisements of your boxes are an honest representation of what is in the box for that season. I've seen several advertisements for the Winter Box 2016 that showed the Mod Cloth scarf, which is actually a blanket. I know that the Mod Cloth Scarf was in the Fall 2016 Box ONLY because I received that box, which was my first box. Showing a picture of this scarf with the Winter Box 2016, in my opinion, is false advertisement. I also saw advertisements for the Winter Box that included the "Joy Comes in the Morning" tumbler, which was an item that was in the Fall box. Very misleading to the consumer, especially when the ad states, "Winter Box 2016". I do think eventually these type of practices will catch up with you and land you into legal trouble, if not corrected.

Secondly, I will review the contents of the boxes I have received thus far! I absolutely LOVED the Fall 2016 Box. There were many useful items in that box. The tumbler and the Mod Cloth were great. There were a couple of items that I'll never use, but... I knew that there would be. My Winter 2016 Box comes along and I am in SHOCK! It was terrible. Not ONE single thing in that box screamed "WINTER" to me. I looked at the retail prices and laughed. Seriously! I feel that if you're going to stay in business, you need to have more CONSISTENCY in the QUALITY and USEFULNESS of your items from season to season. The Winter Box seemed like you guys just threw a bunch of leftover stuff or items that companies gave you a really good deal on that were their leftovers! It really missed the mark!

With everything said... I am committed to continue my subscription (I pay monthly), until after my Spring 2017 box arrives. Once I receive that box, I will make a judgment call as to whether I will continue my subscription or go with another company, such as Birchbox.

Hey Rebecca! The Modcloth scarf was a major hit for so many members, we're happy to hear you enjoyed it as well! We also really hoped everyone would love the Winter Box since it included more popular name brands but we’re taking all feedback and definitely using it to shape the future of our boxes.

As far as advertising goes we do our best to remain neutral and post items that were in past boxes, not exactly that seasons box specifically. We try to show possible members examples of items they can expect to receive in our boxes, not necessarily the box itself - some people prefer the box to be a surprise. We are always trying new things when it comes to ads but none of those things include mis-leading customers. We include all relevant information on the checkout page as well as our FAQ so members know what to expect before joining.

We love that you are going to give the Spring box a shot, it really is going to be packed full of some really amazing things so we’re excited for you to get and to hear what you think.

Until Spring, stay warm this Winter - with your Modcloth scarf of course:)

Hi Lisa! So happy to hear you loved the box you received. It sounds like you received the Editor's Box which does have a total of 8 items inside plus one mystery bonus item for a total of 9 items. If you only received 6 please let me know and I'd be happy to look into this for you, we want to make sure you got everything! As far as the Eyeshadow palette it was one of the mystery bonus items so if you did not recieve that you should have received something else in its place. Check out the full reveal here: https://fabfitfun.com/magazine/the-editors-box-is-here/

Please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] and I'd be happy to chat and make sure you got all 8 of your box items as well as a mystery bonus item.

So Far So Good
January 20, 2017

I received two boxes so far. The fall and winter boxes. Both had items I liked very much and items I was not very interested in. That is the luck of the draw.

The items are of varying quality and type. Things I am not interested in, I save for gifts to family members and friends. I like this much better than Sample companies because no matter what, the items are full size, and thus have longer use for me or the ability to be given to someone else.

I have no had to deal with customer service as of yet. I cannot speak to the quality of their responsiveness. I will say however, that it would be wise to read through the website if you have any questions. I was concerned at one point about my subscription, but then found the answers rather easily.

It's more of an investment than $10.00 a month, but I think is is worth it. My sisters liked the items they received for Christmas, and I love knowing that once every 3 months I'll be getting a cool surprise in the mail.

I was apprehensive about this box after being billed in October and not having a good expectation on when I was receiving my first box. But then it arrived in December, even my boyfriend who is clueless about girl products, was very impressed. I love the variety of full size items including jewelry, which you don't get in other popular boxes. I'm completely in love with the nail polish I got and I swear, nothing can ever be better than this one and I'm buying it for the rest of my nail care life. I use my "Good Morning Gorgeous" to-go cup everyday and love everything else I've gotten thus far.

Feedback for FabFitFun: You subscription page needs some additional investment. People need to know when they can expect their box when they sign up and going forward. This should be clear in terms of months or weeks on the account page. The quarterly concept is a no brainer but more detail is needed. Letting people sit and wait after paying $40 isn't fun for most Millennials. Also, your member reward program is not up to par with the competition. I subscribe to Birchbox, Ipsy and Winc besides this box; and they all have more incentives to stay as a long-term customer.

For all the girls wondering if this is worth the try, do it. You shouldn't be surprised of the drawbacks I've outlined above and I hope you love the surprise box as much as I do. Give it a try and decide on your own. Whether this is a long-term subscription, not so sure... only time will tell as (hopefully) FabFitFun invests more in their competitive advantage and stay ahead of the upcoming competition over time. If similar box comes to the market and has a better rewards program, I'm likely to switch.

This is seriously awesome feedback! We really appreciate you taking the time to give us your thoughts. We are beefing up our team as we speak and cannot wait to launch more features on our website and give users more things to look at and use. We loved that you mentioned needing more detail and we will take that feedback directly to our product team.

As far as rewards programs go it's definitely something that we are investing in and hope to offer more of in the future. We currently offer a $15 referal credit when members get their friends to join and are thinking of ways to add on to that.

We hope you continue to enjoy our boxes and we are excited for you to get next season's box. We send a survey at the end of each season and would love to know what you think of any improvements we will have made come this Spring when you recieve your second box.

We also encourage you to check out our Community forum page which can be accessed upon logging into your account, it's a really fun way to connect with our team as well as other members.

Thanks again!

I had seen advertisements for FabFitFun for months, but didn't pay too much mind to it because I spend enough money as it is. However, I had wanted a blanket scarf from ModCloth, and saw that the current Editor's box had the same scarf. Considering all of the other extras that came in the box, I decided to just start the subscription and get the scarf I wanted and maybe some other stuff that I may like (another plus was the full-size products rather than trial-size). Even if I only liked one or two other things in the box, I was going to consider it a win. I loved everything in the box that I've tried so far (still have a couple of things I haven't used, but am definitely looking forward to trying), and I am extremely pleased. My box was delivered one week after I ordered it, and I understand that I ordered during a time in which the box was available. I am very happy that I joined this service, and look forward to future boxes!

Hey Bela!

We're super sorry and definitley did not mean to offend anyone. This was our first email of it's kind and the intention was to send this to newsletter subscribers who we see tend not to open our emails. We were hoping to find out if they don't open our emails because they aren't interested in the product, don't like or emails or if they do like our product but just haven't had the chance to join yet.

We are always trying out new email campaigns etc as we grow and find what works vs what doesn't. We do appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback as we take it very seriously and are always making changes according to what we hear from our subscribers. I submitted an order on 12/26/16 and still have not received it as of 1/12/17. I received an email that one of the items was out of stock. I emailed asking when my order would arrive and I received an email back saying the order had been fulfilled and was waiting to be shipped from the warehouse on 1/6/17. I emailed back saying to cancel my order and suddenly the order has supposedly been shipped so I was unable to cancel the order. The tracking information states that the order will not arrive until 1/17/16. That is well over three weeks and I am definitely disappointed with the customer service. They do not care about how they treat their customers. I will unsubsidized to this service as soon as possible!

Cheap and awful service
January 12, 2017

I am an actual subscriber and I am telling you DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! This company is a joke and their customer service is even worse. My box came damaged because they failed to properly pack a hair oil and it got EVERYWHERE. No joke and it ruined a scarf they call "mod cloth" and they refused to send me a new one after I sent the pictures of it. They said to take it to the dry cleaners. Sorry but oil does not come out and the scent of the oil on the scarf is still super potent. They offered a "one-time" credit of $10 measly dollars toward my account (when it was their fault) and I told them that it would cost me more in time, gas and money to get the stupid thing dry-cleaned. Besides the damaged "goods" the stuff that was in the box you can get cheaper at Target. Do not waist your money on these guys.
