I've bought glasses from EBD before and I like they have to offer. Their prices are reasonable and they have frames that I can't find anywhere else. However, this time around, I was not able to use my credit or debit cards to pay for my order. I tried different cards without success. The only thing tat worked was using Paypal credit.
My confession to perhaps the reason my frames broke is that I developed the habit of lifting my frames above my forehead to on top of my head. The reason I did this is because I am farsighted and so my prescription was bifocal or progressive. Therefore, I just felt that I did not need them on all the time. For example I would lift them up to atop my head when I drive. Everything I would do around my house I would wear them. Outside doing yard work - back up on my head. I would also take them off with one hand from one side - which also stresses the frame.So, bottom line - I still love my glasses from EyeBuyDirect because of the style selection but mostly for the value. That's why even though the frames broke after about 6-8 months, I'm still going to get another pair and simply try to have better habits in the care of them.

I love this website, and have purchased many pairs. That being said I have had almost all of the frames to break. This time I upgraded to a more expensive frame. I think that you should have some type of warranty on the frames, and more choices of colors, and true BOGO coupon.

So I was checking out and trying to use Amazon pay. It would gray out the 4th Payment section and so I called Customer Service. The rep told me that because I was using apple I would not be able to buy them (it was not supported). I told him I don't have another device type and I wouldn't be able to buy it. He didn't provide much help.

I found the perfect pair of glasses at EyeBuyDirect. I am very excited and can't wait to receive them. I have been looking for round rimless glasses for a long time.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
