The glasses I received were a great quality. They arrived fast and were reasonably priced. I liked them better than the ones I bought from the eye doctors office. They were only a fourth of the price I paid at the eye doctors office
I ordered two things, they fit perfectly, look good, arrived within their quoted time, and shorter then expected, I was informed throughout the process when they received my order, when they were making them, and when they shipped them, the glasses are of good quality, and FAR cheeper then anything you would get at an eye doctor.
In general, I'm happy with EyeBuyDirect, but I often find that they either don't have the style I want (round light tortoise shell) or if they do, they don't have my size (medium). The St. Michele (my fourth pair) is OK, but I'm ready for a change. I must be hopelessly out-of-date since I'm not ready for the brightly colored glasses yet. I would still recommend that a friend try EBD just in case they have what she wants.
Even though these frames are the same size as my current glasses that fit very well, these glasses look tiny and awkward on my face. I'm not a fan at all.
Love this purchase. Ordered sunglasses a few months ago but ordered size L. They are a bit too big and slide. These are a M and fit perfectly. So much better. Glad I gave it another try.
I used EyeBuyDirect to buy a backup pair of glasses. The lenses are absolutely perfect - and my prescription is quite complex, I got progressive lenses. I couldn't be happier.
The price is amazing. Even for progressives, it was a tiny fraction of what I paid at my optometrist.
The frames are noticeably lower quality than name-brand. They're more than adequate for a backup pair, but I do wish EyeBuyDirect offered mid-range frames that are closer to the same quality as premium frames, but at a more moderate price.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
