They used to have this store in Canada near my home, and I found the best-fitting work shirt here. After they left our area I considered for a year ordering online. I didn't want to pay the US conversion and duties.
I finally bit the bullet because I couldn't find a shirt that fit the same and the others were getting ragged.
I placed my order and cringed at the price but I REALLY wanted that shirt. I got my order quite quickly however I was missing items.
I contacted them immediately asking if there was another shipment and they told me no. So I told them that the items were missing and they told me they would ship the missing items right away. Two days later I received an email stating they could not send as they were no longer in stock. And to choose a similar item.
Contacted customer service and they said they could not do this because it was outsife of US. So I asked for a refund for the items as well as duties. They said that the duties would not be refunded and pretty much accused me of lying that I did not received and that they were refunding me out of the goodness of their hearts.
Pretty upset that it took me so long to order and didn't end up receiving the items I so desperately wanted. Got two VERY expensive sweaters, no blouses. Won't be returning to their store.

I made an order about 2 months ago got charged and received my ordered, erased my order number thinking everything was fine. Come to find out 2 weeks ago got cheated for an order I did not do a week later another charge 2 overdraft fee and customer service from express it $#*! they couldn't help me without my order number
Express is constantly cancelling my orders, i realized i shop clearance but they claim the item is out of stock but ill see it on the website still and weeks later. I'm not sure if it because i use my rewards to pay for it but this is so annoying. Also if you get a free shipping code it never works!
Their customer service reps lie to customers. Their so-called promo codes never work. Their app totally sucks. I have had to contact customer service numerous times because the promo codes won't work on my orders and they have to apply the codes to my order AFTER the order is placed. Which means my funds are tied up for five days before they release them back into my account. Their customers service reps are totally unapologetic. I'm done with Express.
The lady at the counter forced me into opening a credit card, I told her I didn't want it but she kept pushing. I finally told her OK as long as I paid my balance right there when I was checking out which she said Okay to. After she was done signing me up for the account she told me I couldn't pay with my debit card instead I should write her a check... I mean who carries checks to shop for clothes. I called to pay over the phone and they ended up charging me a $9 fee to pay my balance and close the account. Stop forcing credit cards on people!
I had a huge $600 purchase and I return got a $75 rewards accumulated. I tried to used $10 for a small item sale and instead it all got taken away tried to cancel the order and they denied my request to return my rewards very conveniently to them. How do you do that to your loyal customers unbelievable.
Bought some clothing there, the fabric was v soft and long lasting! The main desk people were so helpful and the stire was so neat and organized!
Everything that I have ever purchased from express has been very cheaply made and not lasted more than 2-3 wears. I do not recommend this product at all.
This company has the worst online customer service I have ever experienced. I placed an ordered and decided to change my mind within 20 minutes of the order. I was unable to cancel and had to contact customer service because you do not have the option to do this yourself. I was told the order was already processed and nothing could be done... within 20 minutes? I can't believe this when my estimated delivery is a week from now. Terrible customer service. I look forward to costing the company money by mailing back my items.
They let you order items which are not in stock and never become in stock. They charge you on the first day you order which gets changed to the price of the actually in stock items then several days later you get charged for the non in stock items, which never get shipped an the charge drops off but it's really frustrating being charged for items which are not in stock. I even tried re-ordering items after talking to a sales representative and they telling me yes re-order, there are now 250 items in stock, So I re-order and still don't get the items. Horrible place to deal with,
I used spend hundreds of dollars a year at this place. It was were I bought all my suits and dress shirts for work. No more, I bought 2 pants with the tags still on it and lost the receipt. They would not let me return them. By the time I found the receipt, it was past 60 days and again they won't let me return them... don't waste your time with this subpar company. Shop banana republic instead, better quality clothing and better costumer service.
Anyone shop at #EXPRESS (Express)? Ever had a bait and switch situation? I always try to use coupons and got a text to for a coupon. Went through the process to save the coupon, went to Countryside Express to use it. After browsing about an hour, I went to check out with my coupon and because I had some clearance items, I couldn't use the coupon. The coupon did not have any "rules," associated with it before I started my shopping there. This seems to be happening more and more with retailers. They get you there with an exciting offer but after you get there, there's always a reason why you can't use it. No wonder retailers are going down and people shop on Amazon.
I used to spend hundreds of dollars every quarter on express.com. They started closing the stores around me and I have to do my purchases and returns online. Not once was any order smooth sailing. Unless you have 2 hours to spare waiting for the customer service rep on the phone while the song "I don't want to waste your time" plays ironically, you should stop buying from express.
Oh, the quality of their clothes have went down hill as well.
PRO-TIP: If they ever tell you that they will not charge you the return fee for a defective item, NEVER BELIEVE THEM. This has NEVER EVER happened to me. I have NEVER gotten a full refund.
I am on almost 2 months of trying to get a return processed from an online purchase. I returned items that didn't fit. Tracked the package, it was delivered and they are just giving me the run around. I have gone back and forth with the reps- provided the tracking code, pictures of the return docs, images of the Canada post receipt. So shameful.
I was trying to place an order online and the website kept making me put my address in multiple times. I had contact live support and they could t help me. They said Use another server. I kept closing out and redoing my order. Finally I was able to get the order to go through but the final order showed the shipment I chose was wrong. So I immediately contacted the customer service number to let them know that's not what I selected. I got through very quickly. The lady said my order was already processed and can't be changed. ( This was the free delivery and I wasn't going to receive it for a week and three days). I wanted the upgrade service which is $15 more.
With today's digital error and amazon just killing these type of businesses how does your system not allow you to change an orders delivery option within 10 minutes? Where is the customers needs here? We can change orders or upgrade shipping in most online businesses. How are the actual stores doing in business compared to online? This just blows my mind. So a company will let $200 walk away because they couldn't upgrade the delivery service which the customer wanted to pay for and originally chose. That is why I purchased it
I spent at least 600 dollars in express dot com on the clearance section and everything went smoothly. I didn't have anything take more than a week to get to me and it all arrived correctly. I didn't buy everything all at once either so for there to be close to 10 separate packages coming, it wasn't bad.
I made an in-store purchase to be delivered on Jun 19th, because they did not have the sizes I needed available at the store. They were never delivered. It took me 3 different attempts to get someone on the phone. Once I did get a customer service agent on the phone, it took 2 hours of on hold, off hold for him to find my order, to only have him come back on the phone to tell me he needed to transfer me. I spent another 20 minutes on hold waiting. Someone finally answered and found that the order was never placed. However, I was charged. I got a refund.
Total call time: 3 hours. I had to take time off of work, unpaid.

I went to express out late mall at Charlotte. They offer me discount if I open express credit card. I did open credit card and paid my bill with new credit card and I paid my credit card bill right there with my cash. Normally I don't keep my receipt with me. I got credit card bill by mail after one month. I got surprised. I got bill which I already paid. No one listen my complain. They keep asking me receipt. Basically I had to paid twice which. Thief employee.
Sizing has changed (my old ones fit but new ones don't) Now they wrinkle easily and are PILLING! Used to be my "go to" for work slacks. Now not so much
Yeah so I really wanted to keep shopping at Express for my work clothes but after my first time online buying experience with them, I don't think I'll ever give them my money again...
I placed an order for 2 shirts and 2 pencil skirts. It took about a week for only the 2 shirts and 1 pencil skirt to arrive but the final item which was my skirt, never shipped out. Okay. I contacted them about it and they said give them 5 business days. 5 business days go by and they charge my card for the skirt, and then I get an email saying the rest of my order is cancelled. I was very flustered, considering I even checked back on the site and my skirt with my SIZE is back on the site and it says "only 1 left." I was appalled. I contacted them again and after 15 mins of chatting with their live team, they tell me it takes a couple days for the site to update the inventory. Not true... because when I placed the order initially, the skirt was out of stock and the site updated that immediately? Why else would Express just repost my skirt I purchased, also at a higher price.
It was a total scam and now I know, either shop there in person at your local mall or find another website to shop for work clothes. Just not worth it when they are complete liars.
