A 3 month trial subscription proved to be a nightmare as they include a default renewal check box hard to spot. On top of this, there is no service at all other than a list, no more than every other free job site. A complete hoax with no added value at all, we receive automated suggestions based on our previous choices, no analysis. Clients are no more than victims for making easy money out of honest people. Shameful.
Not one single email or lead in a year, I have an executive level resume and nothing at all, please don't waste your money
Should have read reviews 1st - duh! A $200 investment yielded a third draft with misspellings, typos, and faulty punctuation by a writer in the business for 13 years. I finally gave up. Don't waste your money and valuable time here.
I Signed up in January 2020. Not a single email from them since. Charged me $69us today, and of course, I am surprised becuase nearly 4 months have passed with Zero communication.
I went to cancel, and there is no Online Cancellation. This is 100% illegal in any Country for an Online company to do.
They must have a clear way of
Cancel for a paying consumer.
I plan on filing complaints and disputing charges.
These guys did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me. In fact, they did not respond to a single inquiry or question I had posted.
It is nothing other than a scam.
I joined Experteer about 3 years ago and cancelled my subscription quite quickly afterwards as I found it bore no fruit. Just a couple of months ago I discovered that they were still taking money from me so, I have cancelled again this time keeping the emails. Stay clear! I think they are also linked to JobLeads but yet to confirm.
Dear Lord. I have blocked and tried to unsubscribe to this site... I get 3 emails! A day! Please someone tell me how to unsubscribe. You can't turn the filters off... you still get the Newsletter. Really? Yes, really. Don't subscribe. And it's illegal not to be able to unsubscribe.
Please don't give this company your payment info. I signed up on March 5 for a service less than $20? They charged my card $119.40 plus a $3.58 fee. I've sent several emails canceling the service and asking for refund. I can't believe they would do this. I feel so ashamed that I was duped this way. I'm still waiting for a substantive response, not an auto reply
This group asks way too much money for the membership while they offer very little in return. The filter search options are too general therefore the search can not be done for every desired job position. Also, the number of job offers is too poor. So, once you subscribe you are stuck. 99Euro on a 6 month base and there is no way out! Terrible!
Worthless service. Received no contacts from recruiters. Most positions identified as "matches" had no fit with my background or experience. Tried to cancel after the first six months but would not refund the renewal. A complete scam without any concept of customer service.
Experteer steals money from your account for doing absolutely nothing. Never, never, let Experteer anywhere near your credit cards. My partner (a Ph. D.!) is being robbed from them, even as I type. His only path forward is to dispute the charges with his bank and to cancel his credit card. Experteer *refuses* to cancel any 'services' they claim you signed up for. Even if you accept that premise, they do NOTHING for their 'clients.' Avoid Experteer!
Update: Experteer did credit my friend for their most recent charge, along with the additional "international transaction fee" after he wrote them, and after this review was published. We are appreciative that Experteer took this step.

This site has no benefit to job seeker, for a hefty fee 174 EUR/year and then automatically renewing with only one notice. They do nothing.!
I gave up on the site after 2 months, where nothing was realized, did not cancel and now they are debating that I have to renew, even though, there has been ZERO BENEFIT for me the customer.
The matching of positions does not come close to the CV uploaded!
The recruiters are actually another link to other ATS/application tracking systems. No replies whatsover from the recruiters!
This site is full of "middle-man" and Linkedin does it for free and no intermediaries in a lot of cases.
Overall, a disaster and I am debating with just representative to cancel my renewal and there is no way out, even though I can prove the site has DONE NOTHING
Hope this goes on and on and on, and that EU Consumer Protection protects us job-seekers.
I've had much better luck with free job sites, and Experteer made it very difficult to cancel. After you cancel, be sure to block your payment source because they will not honor the cancellation.
UPDATE: After several back and forth emails, I have received a full refund for my September payment.
I cancelled my membership after find the site not worth the leads it was sending. I cancelled twice, and was charged after i cancelled BOTH TIMES. Still trying to get a refund and am processing a chargeback.
After reading reviews & experiencing the same, I cancelled my membership and tried to contact them for a refund. I haven't heard anything. My membership is valid 'til March, but I would prefer a refund and close my account. Not at all what I expected.
Jobs offered up near zero correlation to what you ask for. Cancellation is a total trick and scam to try to get more money out of you.
Avoid at all costs. They are utterly rubbish.
Once you create a membership with Experteer. There is no way out. You can't call them because they are in Germany. You can't cancel your membership in your account settings. You can't cancel via their contact us page, because it just redirects you to your account settings page. When you email them to cancel, you get an automated response with no follow up. We've been trying to cancel with them for months. Instead of just cancelling the membership, they kept the membership active, and now are claiming our account is overdue. I logged into the account for the first time in months and not one recruiter has viewed the profile. Ha.
I am trying to cancel my premium membership. I have done this many times but it is not working. I am not getting the email from their website that tells me to confirm the cancellation. I have tried to cancel 4 times but I have not got the confirmation email. My email details are correct in their system.
So, my subscription will auto-renew the service now because cancellation is impossible. There is no way out. My money keeps going to them no matter what. I have written to their 'CEO', posted on their facebook and linked in pages and written to their 'customer support'. There is no response and they don't give a $#*! either.

I wish i read all the reviews before I paid them any $$. My complaints are very much the same as all the other complaints mentioned on this site. I have been trying to cancel my subscription through their site and received an automated email from them. Followed all the instructions and they before they still trying to charge me and send me to collections. This site is a scam and they will only take your money and not help you and they will not give you a way out.
Dear Marsha,
Thank you for your comment. We confirm every cancellation request. If you did not receive a confirmation please contact us at [email protected] and we will find out what happened in your case.
Kind regards

Answer: Agree with B H. Total scam! No communication whatsoever, no value, terrible site but they do charge a hefty fee for their yearly premium which is almost impossible to cancel as you do not receive any confirmation of the cancellation. But hey ho, few days after the original subscription ended I started to receive demands for payment for another year even though the account was deleted! BEWARE!
Answer: I had a terrible experience with Experteer- no job leads, abhorrent customer service.
