The items I ordered were not very secured for shipment. I bought a higher end priced set of atomic shift mnc touring bindings for back country off resort exploration, which I received with all of the parts loosely rattling around the box. I'm not sure if it was a customer return that they just sent right back out or not but the original box the bindings came in was opened with a box cutter and sliced completely around the top making it entirely unable to properly close. That uncloseable box was then place in a larger box, with a poorly crinkled single piece of brown paper for padding, and shipped across country. If I pay extra for higher end gear then I expect to receive it mint condition and I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation. I also expect that back country safety equipment, which could mean the difference between life and death, would be shipped with more care. I was very excited to receive my order. Immediately upon picking up the box and hearing what sounded like broken equipment, my excitement was replaced with disappointment and anger. Now I'm stuck debating if I want to return them or mount them, possibly at my own peril, for convenience.
