I first inquired about the product I wanted to purchase and received a quick response that helped me make my decision. I found the purchasing to very painless (outside of it not being free. Ha ha), although the price I did pay was the best I found. Within 30-45 mins my download instructions arrived and the download itself was easy to complete. I will certainly be back if I need other software.
Product was exactly as described. Best price in the USA.
I found the software product I wanted with ease. However, I was dubious about the low price for the product. It was 30% lower than any other site I could fine on the Internet, and 65% lower than the manufacturer's retail price. Also, the site offered the product as a download with two installs, which is what I needed. So, I called the company (during normal business hours mountain time only) and inquired about the price and installs. A very courteous customer service person (Allison) explained everything to me. I went ahead and ordered the product online. Within two hours (as promised) I received an e-mail with download instructions. I downloaded and installed the product and everything was just as promised.
Things were fairly simple in ordering. The site is okay, but it doesn't feel quite as user friendly as some other web providers (not necessarily software related). I was unclear as to whether or not I was receiving a download, a CD-rom, or both. Clarification on order details would be helpful.

Order # *******
They are quick and responsive with great prices.
Plus they offer quick customer service. When they accidentally double billed me, the credit was quick.
My company purchased the "Full Retail" version of Adobe CS5 on DVD for $595. The software was shipped quickly and it worked fine, but we had to phone Adobe for support and were informed that our license didn't qualify for support because it was the "Educational Version"! Further, it was licensed for resale in Asia, not here in the USA, and that it was already registered in Hong Kong!
How is that even possible unless they are selling black/grey market software...?
Having one previous (successful) software purchase from these guys I ordered Office 2012 Professional on disc, which was advertised as being the "full retail package" version. The price was only a few dollars below Microsoft's retail.
I did indeed receive a copy on discs, along with a key which worked, so I am happy there.
However, the discs were labeled "Promotional Disc: Not for resale" and the package seal had been broken & then re-shrink wrapped. But it all worked, so although they are obviously dealing with "grayware" it seems more or less OK. I do recommend buying discs that include a key rather than download with the key to come later (you hope).
I just bought MS Project through this web site. I used the download option, which seems to be the bone of contention in most of the negative reviews below.
evaluesoftware.com responded promptly. I ordered the Standard version of the software, but they let me know that they were out of stock on that. They upgraded me to the Professional version at no extra cost!
The download process worked perfectly, and theh software installed correctly. I am a happy camper.
Just a recent (02/2012) experience review: Purchased Adobe Acrobat X on disc (OEM, just a disc in a sealed paper disc envelope), which was delivered very promptly.
Included was a serial number on a separate card that had data not matching the disc envelope but it installed properly and passed the automatic verification/registration with Adobe. So as far as I am concerned, the transaction was 100% as advertised.
I gather most negative reviewers had problems with the download-and-get-key-later arrangement, I can't comment on that because I didn't purchase that way, but it does seem as if some purchasers maybe didn't read the fine print closely enough.
Evaluesoftware obviously isn't your mainline authorized reseller but they did deliver for me and have been in business for at least a year, so they have to be at least somewhat legit in spite of the gray-market vibes.
Here is my email exchange:
On Thu, Sep 8,2011 From Kevin: Please advise on status of order *******. I believed my order was a download. It has now been 16 hours+.
From: Alyssa. [mailto:*******@evaluesoftware.com] Kevin, We were pretty behind yesterday but I will make sure you get your license gets out to you asap. :) Cheers, Alyssa Reyes

From: Alyssa. [mailto:*******@evaluesoftware.com] Kevin, Can you please call me at *******843 x 125. We sent you your license key this afternoon, and your email below with "Alyssa" is very rude. I was only responding letting you know that we were behind and we would have your license out asap. If you want to cancel and we can void/refund the transaction. But you didn't have to be rude about it. Cheers, Alyssa.
From: Kevin As a consumer, I don't give a $#*! about how "behind you are" or whether you consider my response to your company's ineptitude "rude". Your operation is a $#*!ing joke and your "feelings" are meaningless. Advertise for an actual or implied instant download – check. Notify the consumer after he purchases the download that it can take up to two hours to process the product key – check. Don't process the product key for nearly 24 hours – check. Its called fraud. Ever notice how you come across somebody once in a while you shouldn't have $#*!ed with? That's me. My law firm specializes in class action lawsuits dealing with false and misleading advertising. In the event you contact me or my law firm again or the product key doesn't work, I will consider it my mission in life to take your company down. Sincerely, and go $#*! yourself, Kevin.
Judge for yourself.
Fast service, product as described, I would recommend this to a friend. However, I received no installation instructions which caused quite a delay in getting software installed. I finally had to contact Microsoft technical.
No personal experience - just browsing and came across them. When it sounds toooo good to be true it almost always is. Your site's reviewers comments has only confirmed this in spades, blackguard spades. I'm going back to Amazon and know I will be protected. I can always find a quality used product for a decent price and know the seller has positive feedback (or not) and that Amazon's return policy is ironclad. Know this from personal experience.
Thanks all for your feedback. So sorry so many have been ripped. How many thousands more that just suffer in silence.
They sell download software, but what they don't tell you when you are buying, is that you won't get to download your software immediately. Since I purchased on a Saturday, hoping to upgrade my system on my day off, I won't even find out until Monday whether they are going to actually let me download what I paid for or not. How screwy is that? Ridiculous. I never bought download software before that I had to wait 2 days to download. What's the point?
I ordered two download packages (PhotoShop CS5 and Illustrator CS5) nine days ago on eValueSoftware's website since they showed as being "in stock". The sequence of events have been:
1) E-mail from them nearly immediately saying I'd have the downloads in 2 hrs
2) Four days later, I pinged them about the lack of a 2nd e-mail
3) Five days into this, they sent me PhotoShop's download
4) Six days into it, I asked what happened to Illustrator's download. They admitted that they are a LARGE company (after I accused them of being three yahoos working out of different garages) and didn't have Illustrator in stock
5) Seven days into it, they sent me BOTH PhotoShop (again -- different codes!) and Illustrator. When I tried downloading it, it wasn't compatible with my machine (despite ordering it correctly originally).
6) Eight days into it, they asked for the exact error code(s). I shipped it to them immediately with no response.
7) Nine days into it, and I've sent ten copies of the same e-mail to the two jokers who have fumbled their way through this customer interaction. At this point, I expect to have the software comp'ed, but I doubt they'll do that since they appear to be unaware of customer service norms.
Do not purchase anything. I ordered Office 2010 pro and received a key in Sept. I had to reload the system due to mainboard malfunction and the MS activation process stated my key was invalid. Contacted Evaluesoftware and was told I needed a new key. Why? It was going to take 5 days to achieve this. Why 5 days? Well needless to say its been more than 5 days and still no contact or keys. Buyer Beware!
This company is a fraud. I bought Microsoft Office 2010 Retail Download and they never delivered the software. I called and emailed and received no response or even a refund when requested - TOTAL SCAM!
Paid for a download of microsoft office for home and student 2010... no response, no email, don't answer their phone, don't answer their email... ripped off royally... BUYER BEWARE!
I have no idea if this site is really legit or if they have just a really good website and bought real badges from the BBB and mcAfee, but it seems to check out and they do have a phone number and claim a physical address. Would be curious to know if they are the real deal.
I purchased Office from evaluesoftware.com at a great price, I got stuck during the install and their customer service assisted me to get everything installed on my two computers. Great Service!
Answer: I just used evaluesoftware and expected an Adobe Acrobat X download within "2-4" hours per their e-mail to me. I soon receieved another e-mail that said they were out of stock for licenses and that it would be 5 days before I would be able to download. I read all of the comments on this site and called them immediately to get a refund but was surprised when they gave me a serial number allowing me to change my trial version (previosuly dowloaded from Adobe) to a full working version. The customer service rep did say they were out but she just happened to have an extra copy. I entered the serial number and it worked. So, other than the e-mail suggesting delays, I was able to purchase the software at a significant savings and get a serial number the same day. Now, whether this serial number is one that has several licenses attached to it or not, i do not know but I do have my software and it works. Thanks to all who commenetd on this thread. By calling I suspect I may have averted a problem similar to others.
