We really appreciated the advice in a very timely manner. We are travelling so we need to replace the components on our trailer. We have ordered these parts as advised, from e-trailer.com and await their arrival (we have to cross the border into the US to collect them, when ready), so we hope they are correct(!). I am sure they will be.
Sometimes on the internet good information is hard to find. At etrailer they have the experts who know their products and direct you quickly to the right answers. Stop wasting time searching through peoples online rants, go to etrailer talk to the experts and buy their products.
A bike rack for an RV was a new purchase for us, and I researched many brands from many sites. I kept coming back to etrailer because of the numerous articles, videos and reviews for their products. Adam R answered my questions and steered me in the right direction more than once so the rack we picked would work perfectly on our RV. We couldn't be happier with the Swagman rack, and Adam's helpfulness.
I was disappointed to find that the product I wanted does not exist. However, I was pleased to see how quickly my question was answered, and that a substitute idea was offered.
I did by the substitute item and, although not exactly what I wanted, worked as described and will get me to the mountains with my trailer.

the Hidden Hitch brand does look nicer, but the Curt ones will fit a full side OEM tire. Had I known, I probably would have gone with Curt and get a full size spare.
you will want to clean the threads before installing, so get an M14 1.25 tap
I used an impact gun to tighten the bolts because there's no way you can torque the top back bolt near the bumper with the amount of space you have.
I was able to install the hitch by removing the passenger heat shield and loosening the driver one.

Just installed my new Bargman trailer lights and the LED, s are very bright. Jameson was very helpful in answering my question and offered any additional help if needed. The products and customer service is why my first stop is always etrailer. Keep up the good work!
We are weighing out the options of buying a truck and towing a larger trailer, or we may just add a better/safer tow package to our current vehicle and purchase a tent trailer. If we decide to act on the last idea, we will definately be purchasing our equipment from your company :) Thank you

I called them asap, sent pictures, and they gave me two options. To send it back and they will send me another one or $10.00 to repair it. I asked why all the shipping? And they said so they can make a damage claim! Of course! So they receive claim money, repackage it and send it to another consumer (like me). It had rust on it and you it in the pictures! Scammers for sure.
