I followed the instructions as I watched the video concerning cleaning my hot water tank and replacing the anode.
The order arrived with the cardboard pacakge completely ripped open, the trailer hitch was not contained in the package, and there was substantial scraping and surface damage to the hitch, such that paint was scraped off in many places revealing the bare metal. Luckily I live in California with little problems of rust, but if I lived in other states - this would be a huge problem that I would consider unacceptable. After reviewing others' reviews and responses from customer service at etrailer it appears that items damaged in shipping is common occurance that the company is aware of and evidently not making any effort to take extra steps to prevent. Extra packaging and protection is needed.
