Delivery of a metal hitch in a flimsy cardboard box seems ridiculous when the hitch protrudes out on both sides. Guess since it's metal there is no concern about damage. This is an issue

I love the site in general. Good information, informative product reviews, fair pricing. Like lot of your customers, I'm going to negatively comment on the shipping situation. The box that contained my hitch was in TERRIBLE condition upon receipt. It was ripped open, and part of the hitch was sticking out. It wasn't well-packed to begin with, since the hitch had LOTS of room to slide around inside the box. It had minimal padding, to the point where it broke through and extruded the confines of the box.
