Great better than waiting in line at the office
Great
Easy way to get your tags each year. Quick and simple on line process. No need to write checks or travel to a DMV office
Was easy and efficient.
I do not like the extra service fee.
Every time Californians turn around they get hit with more taxes or fees.
WHEN IS IT GOING TO END!
Great Service... Easy and Fast... Love the way how easy and fast they do their service, in home, while You can enjoy a coffe at the same time. Love it..
Amazingly quick and easy way to renew registration.
I appreciated the txt reminders. My only set was the fee added on to my total.
Very easy thank you
Was out of state long term looking to renew my Florida tag but could not do it online for at the time unknown reasons. Came across this website and reviews seemed legit so tried it. They charged me 70$ upfront to only ask me for 300$ to complete my car registration renewal after giving them more documents. I called but they could not tell me what the 300 was for only that it was required by my county tax commissioner. Seemed fishy so I called my tax commissioners office. They were able to process my request and give me a new tag for 50$, I just wasn't aware that they could do it over the phone. Come to find out, before calling I could not register my car because my tag was discontinued. So they were going to charge me 300 to complete my registration yet no one would even be able to register my car without purchase of a new tag. I have no clue how they planned to renew my registration considering it was impossible or if I would have ever seen that 300$ back once they found out it was non renewable. Just had to call the upfront fee of 70$ the cost of learning my lesson. It could have easily been much worse had I gone through with the final purchase blindly.
Hi Seven, we see from your screenshot that you placed an order to obtain a new registration and tag meant for vehicles that do not have Florida plates yet. You did not place an order to renew an existing registration. Our new registration process requires that we obtain copies of your IDs and other documents and then we can determine DMV fees due to issue a new Florida plate. The $69.95 is the service we charge to process a new plate transaction charged at the time the order is placed and the DMV fee, once confirmed, is collected in a second payment. We complete Florida tag *renewals* via a different service and can process these quickly with all fees collected upfront in one payment. We are sorry to hear that you were confused about the two different services. We hope that clarification helps. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
This was easy. Thank you!
Nice
Fine job
Honestly I really didn't know this was an option to do. The added fees for this was not expected. Hopefully I will get my tags soon.
I Think the 29.95 service charge is obsurd!
It was a very easy process thank you. I would do it again.
Great online process! Love not having to physically go to get the tag.
First time using and very convenient will do again. So easy and time saving
I received it in a timely manner now I don't have to wait in a very long line or miss work just to get my etag for my car and I got it way before my birthday thanks again for the online service
Was a breeze and just was all plan and simple
The additional cost was too great!
Answer: Hi Karl, yes, you can. If you are already an owner of the vehicle, you can order a duplicate or replacement title if you lost your original copy. If you need to transfer ownership into your name, you can also request a transfer of the title only without applying for a registration. We provide both of these services in Florida, California, and Pennsylvania. New York services will be online soon. Visit eTags.com to choose the state and service. If your vehicle is not currently registered in any of those state or you are not transferring that title to that state, you can still do the same service directly with the DMV in the state you are in. Thanks for your question and best of luck.
Answer: Hello Patricia, thanks for your question and our apologies on the delay in reply as we do not check this third party, independent website regularly. You certainly can order a duplicate Florida title on our website by visiting https://www.etags.com/app/fl/print-title. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly by phone or email were we promise to get back to you in a prompt time frame. Take Care and Drive Safely.
Answer: Hi John, thanks for your question. We currently offer renewal service online in California, Maryland, and Florida. You will be able to still use our service if your vehicle is registered in California or Florida. Please keep in mind that the DMV will require we collect the past due amount along with the fee to bring your tag current through the next year. If your vehicle is registered in Maryland, the MVA requires you renew in person if you are more than 6 months late so you will not be able to complete the order online with eTags. Let us know if you have any other questions.
Answer: Hi John, thanks for your question. If you would like to no longer receive emails from eTags, you can click on the "Unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of any email you received from us. We can also unsubscribe you if you would like to send us your order ID or tag number and name on the order. Answer: Hi Wilma, thank you for your message. We apologize for the delayed reply as this site (sitejabber.com) is not owned or operate by eTags and we do not monitor communications via this independent reviews website regularly. Our support team can respond to inquires within 24 hours if we are contacted directly by phone or email. On our website, both before and after and order is submitted for Florida registered vehicle, we itemized our service fees and we disclose that your state registration fee is to be determined (TBD). The Florida registration fee is not listed on the website becuase, since we are not the DMV, we have to send your plate information to a state licensed agency to calculate that amount and that is done offline. We do provide a resource before the order is placed that allow you to estimate the amount of your state registration fee and we also disclose on our website that we are not owned or operated by any government agency. We apologize if you missed that information prior to completing your order. Your registration was already renewed on 3/24/17 and this cannot be reversed with the state DMV. Your tags were already shipped to the address you provided us at the time you placed your order. Please contact our customer support team directly by phone or email and they will be able to assist you with any additional questions or concerns you may have.
Answer: Hi Kim, Thank you for letting us know. I am sorry you have not received your shipment. Please forward either your Order # or plate number and I will investigate and get back to you quickly. Kind regards, Cole
