Great experience. Easy to use. Got stickers quickly
It was easy to order my documents, and they got to me really fast.
Thank you, Lachelle!
We're so glad you are happy with the service.
First time using this and was much better then going into the Dmv. Did it on a Friday afternoon and got my tags Tuesday morning.
Great to hear, Matthew. Thank you for the kind review.
It was hard sending proof of residence since I moved out of state but I'm glad I finally received it. I thought once you paid the car off you received the title automatically for free. I don't like that you have to pay to get a title now
Personnel at eTags did a great job in explaining some renewal questions I had and a speedy process in renewing our 3 tags.
We appreciate you taking the time to review, Carolyn. Thank you!
My overall experience was great but etags is expensive and my final price was different than what I was initially told it went from $288 to $349. I'm not sure why. But I think next time I'll just go on the regular DMV website to renew my registration.
It was so fast and easy to renew our car tag stickers and registration. They arrived a few days before the deadline. Thank you!
Thank you, Christine!
Excellent quick easy relatively inexpensive

We thank you for your business and the nice review, Gerald.
Yes, I received the registration and the sticker, but that was not the one that I wanted my registration expired on June, that was the one that I was trying to send for to make sure that I don't forget. So when I read the instructions, it says that I have three months before expired to put in my renewal and I receive stickers that not for the renewal are we stickers for now? I have those stickers. I'm in my car now so E tag charged me $248 plus $68 the $68 one I did not need but thank you anyway can I return the stickers the one that I don't need? Thank you for helping me out and have a good day.
The service was fast and easy although I think the add on fees are excessive to pay annually. The demand to get 100 characters to submit a review caused this review to loose a star.
If I could give eTags zero stars, I would. This company is an absolute scam. I've been trying to register my vehicle for months, and despite providing all the necessary paperwork—including the title information—they keep moving the goalposts and refusing to process my registration. To make matters worse, they closed my case after I informed them I was waiting for paperwork from the bank. Then, once they finally received the title information, they suddenly claimed it wasn't enough—even though the DMV itself confirmed that it would be sufficient if I brought it in directly. So why is eTags making this impossible? Their customer service is incompetent and dismissive, constantly giving conflicting information and failing to resolve the issue. At this point, it's clear they either don't know what they're doing or they're deliberately making things difficult to avoid processing registrations properly. Do yourself a favor and AVOID eTags at all costs. They are nothing but a middleman that makes things more complicated than they need to be. If you're considering using them, save yourself the headache and go straight to the DMV.
I received my tags already, this service was so easy and fast.
Thank you, Cynthia!
It was very easy, and quick. I was able to order the tag on line and pay for it without any difficulty.
Wonderful experience fast and easy I will most definitely always use this on service
Thank you, Precious!
Was a pleasant experience. The person that help me was professional and knowledgeable.
Every time I renew my tags, they say that I owe money on tolls. I have an epass. How would I owe on tolls when I always use my epass. Anyway, that's the issue I'm sure many people have.
Hi Paul. Thank you for your question.
Here are a few reasons why this might happen:
- Low account balance: The most common reason is simply not having enough money in your E-Pass account to cover the tolls you incurred.
- Incorrect license plate information: If your license plate isn't correctly linked to your E-Pass account, the system might not recognize your vehicle and send you a toll bill instead of charging your E-Pass.
- Faulty transponder: Sometimes, the E-Pass transponder itself malfunctions, preventing it from being read properly at the toll booth.
- Toll road not compatible with your E-Pass: While most toll roads accept E-Pass, there might be a specific toll road you used that isn't compatible with your particular E-Pass type.
We hope this information is helpful. If you believe there's an error with your account or the transponder, reach out to your E-Pass provider to resolve the issue.
Answer: Hi Karl, yes, you can. If you are already an owner of the vehicle, you can order a duplicate or replacement title if you lost your original copy. If you need to transfer ownership into your name, you can also request a transfer of the title only without applying for a registration. We provide both of these services in Florida, California, and Pennsylvania. New York services will be online soon. Visit eTags.com to choose the state and service. If your vehicle is not currently registered in any of those state or you are not transferring that title to that state, you can still do the same service directly with the DMV in the state you are in. Thanks for your question and best of luck.
Answer: Hello Patricia, thanks for your question and our apologies on the delay in reply as we do not check this third party, independent website regularly. You certainly can order a duplicate Florida title on our website by visiting https://www.etags.com/app/fl/print-title. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly by phone or email were we promise to get back to you in a prompt time frame. Take Care and Drive Safely.
Answer: Hi John, thanks for your question. We currently offer renewal service online in California, Maryland, and Florida. You will be able to still use our service if your vehicle is registered in California or Florida. Please keep in mind that the DMV will require we collect the past due amount along with the fee to bring your tag current through the next year. If your vehicle is registered in Maryland, the MVA requires you renew in person if you are more than 6 months late so you will not be able to complete the order online with eTags. Let us know if you have any other questions.
Answer: Hi John, thanks for your question. If you would like to no longer receive emails from eTags, you can click on the "Unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of any email you received from us. We can also unsubscribe you if you would like to send us your order ID or tag number and name on the order. To unsubscribe from emails from separate parties such as SiteJabber or ShopperApproved, please use the unsubscribe link in their emails or contact them as they are not affiliated with eTags. We hope this information helps. Take Care and Drive Safely.
Answer: Hi Wilma, thank you for your message. We apologize for the delayed reply as this site (sitejabber.com) is not owned or operate by eTags and we do not monitor communications via this independent reviews website regularly. Our support team can respond to inquires within 24 hours if we are contacted directly by phone or email. On our website, both before and after and order is submitted for Florida registered vehicle, we itemized our service fees and we disclose that your state registration fee is to be determined (TBD). The Florida registration fee is not listed on the website becuase, since we are not the DMV, we have to send your plate information to a state licensed agency to calculate that amount and that is done offline. We do provide a resource before the order is placed that allow you to estimate the amount of your state registration fee and we also disclose on our website that we are not owned or operated by any government agency. We apologize if you missed that information prior to completing your order. Your registration was already renewed on 3/24/17 and this cannot be reversed with the state DMV. Your tags were already shipped to the address you provided us at the time you placed your order. Please contact our customer support team directly by phone or email and they will be able to assist you with any additional questions or concerns you may have.
Answer: Hi Kim, Thank you for letting us know. I am sorry you have not received your shipment. Please forward either your Order # or plate number and I will investigate and get back to you quickly. Kind regards, Cole

Great to hear! Thank you, Kimberly.
