I have been trying to get an update on a claim I lodged in Jan - no one will respond to my emails, online messages or voicemails. I'm forced to take legal actor as they have my damaged phone still.
I decided to look for a warranty that still may cover my phone since my phone no longer had warranty. I came across eSURRANTY.com and thought worst case I am out some money and a phone. I purchased the agreement for my phone. A while after I purchased the warranty the screen on my Samsung S7 Edge went out so I started the claim process. The communication during this process is why I did not give eSURRANTY 5 stars. I want to say it took about a month from when I submitted the claim to the day I received my phone back from them. I had to continue to send messages every so often to the company directly and to the representative because I would not get timely status updates on my phone. Good thing I did because my phone was place in the wrong category when it came to shipping it out which took longer for the phone to come to me. I made sure to make copies of any relevant paperwork just in case. In the end, I received a functioning phone and still have warranty on it.
Cant get in contact with anybody over the phone or email and just terrible customer support huge waste of money and time.
In reviewing the notes on your policy it shows that your claim was denied for no coverage because you filed a claim within the first 20 minutes of your policy purchase and yearly prepaid policies do not start until 11:59pm of the policy purchase date. Further notes state that the policy was cancelled and your premium was refunded.
Signing up wasn't too bad, but when I made a claim, it has taken forever. I turned in a claim nearly a week ago and haven't had any response back on the information I sent them.
In reviewing your policy it shows that your claim was made on an inactive policy and denied because of that. Your claim was not assigned to claims representative because there was no coverage. Monthly payment policies do not start for the first 30 days and you filed a claim within 4 days. A removal of your negative review would be warranted here since you had no coverage and chose the monthly payment option which states specifically when coverage starts and you must agree to those terms before it will let you checkout and purchase the coverage.
Slow response. Definitely night overnight service. Refund of loaner phone security deposit took nearly two weeks
In reviewing the policy notes I found that next day service was not available to your location and the refund of the deposit was because the device was returned locked. Once it was unlocked, your deposit was returned through our system the same day. Bank processing times take 3-10 business days depending on your card issuing bank and you were informed of this by email and telephone.
ESurranty Service is fast and good, premium cost is cheaper. It's suggestable to new users. Customer service is good.
Five stars for this company! Wish I could give bonus stars because Saving 35% over carrier sponsored insurance plans is a really big deal to me! I have purchased several policies to cover our various phones, and each time the company reaches out via phone to thank me & say they will always be accessible if I need them or have questions.

These folks have come through for me again! Great company! Great communication! They have a manager, Angelo, that personally oversees the claims.
It's a scam, I never got my claim solve even my dedactubale they don't wanna return it to me. It has been almost two month now and I'm sending messages and life chat no one is responding, also I call them every day no one to pick up the phone or even return my calls. The agent I work with was nicer but since he got the dedactubale he disappeared too no emails or phone calls back from him by the way his name is Sean Henson claims department rep which is his name is associated with many esurraty scams on the internet on poor people like me.
The bad thing is I'm not going to stop I will sue them and ask every person who suffer from them to take a legal action too.
My husband and I insured our 2 phones with esurranty. The signup experience with Angelo went very smoothly. This was the easy part since we were giving money to esurranty and Angelo helped make the transaction as painless as possible. The resolution of claims is the service that the customer purchased. That remains to be seen if we need to file a claim.
The website was a tiny bit difficult to understand, but with a note to eSURRANTY, all was explained. It is a bona fide good deal and almost half of what I have been paying for my Insurance through ATT
I sent my phone in for repair, the send it back broken. I had to send back, they have my phone for over two months and wont respond. I have to file a police report to get it back.

I would give this company zero stars if I could. It's been a month and I still do not have a replacement phone, despite paying the deductible immediately. There is no phone number to call, the supposed agent handling my claim has a phone number but refuses to answer or return my voicemail messages. The only way to communicate is via email and it's the company's leisure. I emailed numerous times regarding my claim with no response. I wish I never chose this company and would never recommend them to anyone else. I am looking into reporting them to the better business bureau and possibly seeking my deposit back since the company is non-communicative at this point.
Reasonable low monthly payment but only issue is that there is around a 1 month waiting period for your coverage to start. Also, hope that more representatives will be available to answer your call or to chat live during normal business hours.
Cost wise, in the past it was a close coin toss between esurranty and protect your bubble (PYB). At the end, PYB was not as responsive and now they have left the US market (good riddance). These are now the choice for me to protect new iphones. I have three new ones at home and they are so expensive to replace that I had to have insurance.

Answer: I am sorry you are having an issue with your claim. You can contact the claims departments general mailbox at [email protected] and your concern will be forwarded to the claims department manager. Our claims department does not have a direct number but each claims representative has their own extension. They can choose to give that to customers, but they are not required to as it is the policy of our claims department and underwriting to converse with customers by email as it is more efficient. As I can not look at an open claim I can not give you any information about your claim. I can tell you from the past claims I have seen when there is a delay it is usually that the customer did not send in the proper documentation or there is an issue involving fraud. I am not saying that this is the case with you, but I am telling you what I have seen in the past as we have hundreds of claims per day and our claim completion/payout rate is over 93% which is 20% higher than the industry average.
Answer: No. esurranty.net was developed after a person not affiliated with the esurranty company attempted to register the domain. It was originally used only for esurance customers when esurranty had a contract with them. When esurranty cancelled that contract they kept the site operational to serve the leftover customers that didn't switch their accounts to esurranty.com.

In regards to being cost effective, we advise that a 2 year plan is usually more cost effective as the price generally go down for the coverage after the 2nd year.
