I placed an order for 2 items from them on Mar 2nd. I did not request any customizations in my order. In June my order had still not been fulfilled and the order status was still at pattern creation. 3 times I requested my order to be cancelled both on line through customer service and telephone messaging (phone went to voicemail after on hold waiting for a representative for some time). My cancelation was processed and I received an email assuring me a refund would be issued at the end of June. It is now August 8th and I have not yet received the refund for $277. I have made numerous attempts to contact and request my refund with no response from the company.
This business claimed to not have black fabric for months on end. Finally four months late, they offered to cancel and refund the $180+ for the dresses. They have not refunded me anything and stopped relying to emails. Truly awful.

After 13 weeks I asked the order be cancelled and that I be refunded. The order was cancelled June 21 and I've never heard from eShakti again. I call daily, there is no answer so I leave a message and I email frequently as well, with no reply. It's disappointing that I have nothing to show for the $457.46 USD I paid eShakti. I'm hoping this review will get their attention.

I ordered more than 20 dresses from this website all of my orders still waiting some of them I ordered last year November up to now I haven't received those dresses. I ordered a dress on June 3rd and have yet to receive it. I have emailed the company twice, left a message on Facebook, and tried to call 3 times with no luck. I would like my dress promptly or my money back. Not pleased. :(

This place has gone downhill fast. I placed my order MONTHS ago, with no updates or information regarding the slowdown. I reported my case to the Better Business Bureau, and I still got no reply from eShakti. As of June, eShakti has lost its good standing with the BBB. I will now pursue a claim against eShakti with PayPal for my refund, as eShakti has NO intention on returning my money.
This company is horrible to do business with. No communication, nothing is ever on time. I've been waiting on a dress I ordered in February that was supposed to be received no later than 3/19. It still hasn't even been made yet, and good luck trying to cancel your order. They'll tell everyone who complains that they're having issues with fabric quality when they finally reply. They won't even answer the phone or give call backs. Emails take weeks to be replied to. I opened a dispute with the Better Business Bureau and finally had enough and reversed my credit card payment. Avoid this business at all costs. If you check their actual BBB profile they are not rated A+, their website is misleading.
I ordered a dress 11/28. It was supposed to be received no later than 12/17. I never received it and any message I sent was not replied to until after a month had passed. They claim inferior fabric but this seems to be a continuato excuse they're using if you check their BBB complaints. This used to be a good company to order from. This is the first time I've ever had to file a claim against a company with my credit card company because I never received my order.
Placed an order for a dress on April 28. I requested for an update on May 23. I received a response saying it's delayed. There's a manufacturing defect. I requested for a cancellation. By May 30, I received an email that a refund is being processed. I filed a complaint against eshakti with BBB on June 11. As of June 26, refund status is still being processed. Eshakti is a scam. Don't trust the positive reviews in the past. Go to bbb and see all the scams this site has recently accomplished.
My order was placed on 05/14/24 but has been sitting in fabric creation status, and it is now 06/24/24. Eshakti customer service contacted me about 1week after my order was placed and told me they needed my measurements because my waist (which I provided separately) did not go with size. Understand I'd been a customer who's ordered many dresses since 2011,and never had an issue with size or shipping. I provided my measurements the same day and was responded to within a week stating my order was in process. However, since then no change has been made in status. I've called them, but they don't answer, so I've left messages with no response. I've emailed them several times, both through my email and their site email, and still no response. Finally I sent an email to cancel my order and get refunded. Up until today, 06/25/24, there has been no response. I want my money back and will never shop with them again or recommend their services.

I placed an order for two items in Eshakti's after-Christmas sale (2023) for two events at the beginning and end of March. The estimated delivery date was the end of January. Well, that date came and went with no order update or message from the company and no delivery of the items. So I tried to reach customer service. I submitted a query in their online customer service form and never heard back. I tried calling their customer support line, if you are on hold for more than 3 minutes it brings you to a voicemail box and ends your call, with no option to wait for a representative.
After trying to call many times (and leaving several voice messages) over the course of about 2 weeks, I finally got through to a representative. She told me that the fabrics I had chosen were both back ordered and would not get to the company for the clothes to be made until after the two events I had ordered them for (a fact that was not communicated in the buying process or afterward). So I canceled the order and she said she was starting the refund.
Well, the refund never came through. A month later I began the same process of trying to reach customer service. Still no response to online or voice messages. And this time I have had no luck getting through to a person on the customer support phone number. (looking at my phone records I've tried 34 times over the last 6 weeks). So in the end, I am out $170 with no items to show for it.
The clothing may be worth it but after the terrible experience I had with this order I will never try the company again to find out.
Never got the dress I ordered, never got any follow-up to whete it's been and when finally I asked for a refund, they said "yes" but didn't proceed. So I didn't have my dress, nor my money back. So disappointed and angry!

Order was placed early February. March I reach out to get the status of the order. Was told it was delayed due to fabric issues (NOTE this is not the first time I was told this based on other orders). Waited another 3 weeks and still NO order, no response to multiple emails. I reached out to get a status, was again told fabric issues, At that time (April 19th) I asked to have the order cancelled and be refunded. Five days later I got a response saying a refund would be processed and mailed to me. I asked for the refund to be credited to my card utilized for payment - no response. I reached out multiple times (weekly) between mid April and now to no avail. I still have not received a refund, nor communications from them. As noted prior, they used the line 'fabric issues' for past orders which delayed orders by a month or two, but now this excuse seems to be a regular occurance and NOT refunding or cancelling orders is fradulent.
I pray that everyone comes to this review page before purchasing from this site again. I was a loyal customer of eshakti for years and after spending close to $500 on clothes from these people in Feruary (2024) I am faced with the fact that my money is burned, they have stopped answering my emails after telling me there was an issue with the fabric and they would ship soon. As a former Eshakti influencer I am now faced with contacting persons that I wouldve given cards to, to never buy from this site. This is horrible and unacceptable and most of all a scam. It was only last week I decided to read online reviews and realised they are actual scammers, it seems like the ownership has changed. Sorry it had to come to this but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE beware of these scammers!
This has been the worst experience EVER. I ordered two dresses with customization 02/21/2024. NO MERCHANDISE was received. After calling and NEVER being able to reach anyone via telephone, I began writing and weeks later received a call back, when the wait time became disrespectfully ridiculous; I email 05/21/2024. I was answered by email and promise a credit within 5-7 days. As of today NO merchandise and NO credit. How do you charge 16.00 USD for shipping and I got nothing. I just completed the process with my bank to report this as fraud. Disgusting!

Answer: I have been ordering the standard sizes and they are true to the measurements posted. No matter what you put in your height, so the length is always spot on.
Answer: Purchase a dress that is made with the knit fabric. It is flexible and much more loose feeling than the other fabrics. If you do decide to add inches to the measurement, I recommend only adding 1-2 inches AND only add those inches where you like it loser. For example, measure your arms true to size unless you like it a bit lose. Measure your waist true to size unless that is where you like it a bit lose. But honestly, I think you will find the knit dresses to be the best if you dislike tight fitting clothing! I also am not a fan and those are the dresses I wear most often! I have bought other styles, so I have other fabrics to compare it to.

Even adding a deisgn I requested to Fabric Customisation. Winning! I have only had to return 1 dress and it was easy and I got a full refund. I am in Sydney, Australia and my orders always arive in 10-14 days without fail. You can track the progress of your order online.
Answer: From my experience, In most cases the products are made in the featured color and fabric. There are some items that are offered in different colors on the site. As for the daughter, I suggest using the measurement chart and submitting it to see if it can be accomplished.
