Not sure what happened. They used to be efficient. Now orders take months & months to fulfill. Sadly, after many years buying clothes here, I have placed my last order.
The customer service is deplorable. If you need anything regarding order status, they will ignore you until you get to the point where you initiate a dispute with your credit card company. Then surprise, they all of a sudden see your emails! Don't trust a merchant who can't provide minimal customer service/support. Like, where is my order? When will I receive it? How come the status of my order hasn't changed in three weeks? Am I going to get my item by the time you indicated? Hello? Anybody there? Do I need to cancel? I'm getting nervous because now I'm not even sure you're real.
In this age of online ordering, not being able to update a customer about their order status, especially when you are so behind in processing orders with poor operations that you might as well just be making dates up! Just be real and tell the customer "Hey, thanks for the money. We'll get you your stuff when we get around to it maybe, I dunno, your guess is as good as ours, can't make any promises, yeah, hope you're a risk-taker because it's like rolling dice with us and DO YOU FEEL LUCKY?!?!" or just seriously don't even bother.
I returned my dress due to poor fit. It has been weeks since I returned and I have not received a refund. I emailed customer service as well as called and left voicemail. No response from the company

The last 3 orders I placed have been anywhere from a little ill fitting to wildly and hilariously mismade. I ordered a pair of pants, inseam 35.
The inseam is 45, at least. The crotch hangs to my knees. I didn't bother returning because it's such a pain in the $#*!.

I have not received a response to multiple emails and voice-mails requesting an update on an order that was supposed to be delivered on 2/16/24. I've ordered items in the past without an issue but cannot get any assistance with my order. I am contacting my bank to dispute the charges. This is very frustrating. You've lost a customer. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. This is theft. I'm very disappointed.
I am thoroughly disappointed with this company. Twice now my orders have not been processed in a timely manner, there has been no communication of delays or an apology for failing to produce the ordered items in the timeline they originally specified. To add insult to injury, 2.5 months later, 2 phone calls, and 3 emails later, still no refund or verification of order cancellation. They are basically taking your money without filling your orders. Stay away!
Ordered & paid for a jumpsuit in January. Per website, order not made/shipped. It is now nearly a month later! Cant get them on phone for an update or refund. And my email has gone unanswered.
I really like the quality and even customer service from eShakti. I ordered my wedding dress from them, it came about 99% of the way to fitting, so just needed a little help from our local tailor. But, I ordered a shirt from them in the fall. Not a custom size, just a standard size. It was too large so I returned it. They received the return in mid-December and now here at the end of February I have yet to receive a refund. So, while I appreciate their clothing, this is unacceptable.
Ordered 3 months ago. Haven't received my order yet. Can't talk to anyone either. They pretend to be busy helping others when you call. You wait in hold for 2 min then you go to voicemail. Which they never reply to. Even if quality turns out to be great, I don't see myself ordering again.
This company has gone down the tubes. I ordered a dress in December and never received it and when i ask for a refund crickets. No one is replying or updating me with anything. It had been a few years since I ordered from them and I never experienced this type of horrible experience. I just Googled and see that I'm not alone. I don't know what happened but DO NOT order from this company anymore. There has been no transparency about what has happened and we the customers are being ripped off. So VERY disappointing.
I cannot say enough good things about the quality of EShakti clothing. In a time when clothing is made cheaply and without regard to real women bodies, EShakti is a breath of fresh air! I used to be a style consultant and it is clothing like these dresses and the customization I wished my clients had access to. I am 6 feet tall so saying I need customization is an understatement :) I just ordered my 2nd custom dress and it looks amazing and I feel awesome in it. Perfect length, quality cotton fabric, attention to detail, proper seams--oh my! Love love love.
I have 2 suggestions for even more improvement?!) Is there a way to pay extra to have clothes come pressed and ready to wear? They are usually quite wrinkled when they arrive whether it is knit or cotton. 2) I would love more color/print choices as I am very picky about colors I wear. Sometimes I love a design but it does not come in a color or print that flatters me and I have to pass :( Keep up the GREAT quality craftsmanship! You cannot get custom tailoring at these prices and at this quality. Thank You!. A Fan!
11/5/23 ordered 2 items, but received only 1 on 12/28/23. Several emails and Better Business Bureau contacts later, I still have not received the item or a refund. BTW, Eshakti did tell the BBB that they would refund my money—as of today,2/16/24, I have received nothing. From reviews and different social media posts, it is obvious there has been a decline in the company's quality of product and service. They lost a customer.
I love Eshakti dresses! I took off a star because I know I have a wait time ahead. I wish I would get an estimated time during checkout instead of a general statement in the fine print.
I have used eShakti for more than 10 years on a regular basis. As a plus size woman it is hard to find any clothes I like let alone quality made clothing. Being big I am hard on my clothes and have often had store bought items get holes in places I can not hide. EShakti has been great until the last year. I am waiting 3 or more months for clothes to arrive. What is the point of ordering a summer dress if it is winter when it arrives?
As an experienced client I will agree you have to be very careful about fabrics and know what works on your body. Some of the items are really cheap looking.
I placed an order in Oct that wasn't delivered until 3 months later. It was of unacceptable quality and not made according to my specifications. I was told it would be reworked and the correct garments sent, but in mid February, I'm still waiting. EShakti has stopped communicating with me. I used to love this company but they are not going to have my business or recommendation going forward
I was a devoted customer of eShakti for over 15 years. Unfortunately something drastic has changed in their company. Fulfillment of orders has been slow - taking over 3 months! Prior to this they used to ship out within two weeks of order. Reaching customer service is impossible both by phone and email. To make it worse when you do - the same person named Diana has given excuses from- our factory had a fire, our factory had a flood, the surge in covid, the surplus of orders and the final excuse being that they weren't happy with the quality of fabric they received…

I ordered 2 dresses in standard sizes at the beginning of December. Zero communication about a delay. After I emailed asking about the order they gave me the same bs fabric excuse they are apparently giving everyone. How can all of your fabric have issues? How can you run ads and sales when you can't even fulfill the orders you have? I have a number of great dresses from them so it's really disappointing to see this happen. Do not order from Eshakti, you may never get your order. I've filed a PayPal dispute.
If I could I would give them a zero. I advise anyone not to order from this company. You're just giving your money away, they will not send your order. I have paid for a dress that I've never received and I cannot get in touch with them. I will never ever order anything else from you all.

Risky to deal with. No order. No refund. No customer service. I have basically lost my money.
In my case I placed an order. After two months, production on the order hadn't started. I requested to cancel the order and was told by email I would receive a refund. That is when the problem started. No goods. No refund. No customer service. Currently I am in fourth month since ordering and have not received a refund. I am also getting no response from the "customer champions". I have basically lost my money at this point.
The sizing is good and easy to modify the style to suit. Very happy with this way of shopping
I ordered two dresses, totaling over $219.96 (dresses, tax, shipping and customizations) at the beginning of December 2023. They had an expected delivery date of 12/26/2023. Today is 01/29/2024 and I STILL don't have my order or tracking information and communication has been so poor from my "customer service champion" at eShakti. I ordered the dresses early because I need them for a wedding on 2/14/2024. Now I don't have either gown to wear. I have ordered from the company years ago and had a good experience, but this has completely ruined my opinion of this company. What a horrible company.
E Shakti claimed that the material for my dress did not arrive. I learned by enquiring myself a week before my special event. No refund was ever given despite assurances.

Answer: I have been ordering the standard sizes and they are true to the measurements posted. No matter what you put in your height, so the length is always spot on.
Answer: Purchase a dress that is made with the knit fabric. It is flexible and much more loose feeling than the other fabrics. If you do decide to add inches to the measurement, I recommend only adding 1-2 inches AND only add those inches where you like it loser. For example, measure your arms true to size unless you like it a bit lose. Measure your waist true to size unless that is where you like it a bit lose. But honestly, I think you will find the knit dresses to be the best if you dislike tight fitting clothing! I also am not a fan and those are the dresses I wear most often! I have bought other styles, so I have other fabrics to compare it to.
Answer: I have been ordering from eShakti for over 12 months ( something like 25 dresses). I have never had a problem. Customer Service has always been great. Quick to respond and very accomodating. Even adding a deisgn I requested to Fabric Customisation. Winning! I have only had to return 1 dress and it was easy and I got a full refund. I am in Sydney, Australia and my orders always arive in 10-14 days without fail. You can track the progress of your order online.
Answer: From my experience, In most cases the products are made in the featured color and fabric. There are some items that are offered in different colors on the site. As for the daughter, I suggest using the measurement chart and submitting it to see if it can be accomplished.
