What a scam of a company, worst ever experience ever. Rip off merchants working in conjunction with false sellers, what a bad mistake to use this scam merchant, dont use them under any circumstances
Finally received most of my money. They failed to return $50.00 and claimed my bank charged a fee. My bank clearly showed me that they transferred $50.00 less funds. Not happy with their service and grow so frustrated that i gave up and lost $50.00 on my canceled deal on top of their admin fee.
Tried to use escrow.com to complete deal on swap a lease. Deal change and tried to get my money back from escrow.com. What a game? Four weeks later and same story from them wait and check with my bank. Funny how my money was transferred to escrow in under 24 hours to them and I am waiting more then 24 days to get it back. Dont think they are ethical. Stay away!
I sent a wire transfer for a purchase and Escrow.com said they never received the payment even though my bank confirmed it was sent.
They had no ability to search for the deposit with the transaction and wire confirmation numbers and told me it could take a week for the money to be transferred. After a week of not being able to locate the money, they finally told me that they needed a receipt of the transaction. I sent the receipt, but still have not heard a response of where the money is.
Communication with the company is horrible, and I feel that our money is lost.
I would highly suggest using a different company if possible.
The customer support is really a shame. Proccessing paypal payment takes at least 2 day and the team is really not willing to help.
DONT use them
I started the onboarding process for my company and have had to continuously resubmit documents. The customer support is completely clueless and keeps replying automated refusals despite though the documents being exactly as specified by their website. Given other comments on fees and customer support, and the impossibility in signing up if you're from outside of the US I really wouldn't recommend starting the process of signing up - they make it look easy but it is long and painful, and so far for me, impossible to get through. Stick with a traditional legal firm - you can speak to a human and it's not actually that much more expensive after all.
Manuel Rábade is my guy. He's crazy fast at resolving issues and always available. I've had a hard time with escrow.com as a company lately with all this additional verification and it's caused me to lose some deals. However, more recently, Manuel has been awesome in helping assist my clients through this process.
The worst customer support I have ever seen and so slow everything.
Also they charge some hidden fees. Dont waste your time and money with this Escrow.com
Especially if Manuel or Mariana are in charge of your transaction. They will make sure to handle it the best possible way!
We ordered an $8000 coffee roaster and had it shipped from an individual seller who was on the other side of the country. Escrow.com was a perfect solution to safely make the purchase, receive the item and release payment! The only drawback is all of the info needed to set up the account took longer than expected. They make it look easy with their initial "get started now" button, but we had a few hurdles to jump with all of the documents we needed to submit (took over an hour plus a trip to the bank for a wire transfer...) to actually get set up. Also, review the RATES BEFORE you commit. Our transaction fee was $169.00... not $26. Despite these hiccups, we could not have completed this purchase safely, otherwise. Guess it was worth it!

Recently used escrow.com as a seller of a domain.
Domain selling is fairly automated unless using their concierge service. When making a transaction over an automated system, you sometimes wonder how much trouble you will encounter if something doesn't exactly stick to the script.
I ran into an issue with my payment after the transaction completed. I use one of those cheapo banks within a bank and didn't receive my payment when expected.
After calling customer service Marcedric went over the bank details with me and assured me that everything was ok; my payment would be forthcoming. He provided me with a direct # to him as well as his direct email. Marcedric told me that he would stick with the issue until it was resolved and to contact him whenever I wanted. He was true to his word.
After speaking with the support team, my payment was received in 2 days.
This is the 3rd time using escrow.com to sell a domain. Always received my payment, and will use them again in the future.
We currently own a domain at Network Solutions and were trying to transfer a new domain to it but we kept getting the run around by Network Solutions. We were told by escrow.com that the domain we had purchased was sitting in a GoDaddy account and suggested that we open a new GoDaddy account to transfer the new domain. I created the GoDaddy account, called escrow.com and spoke with Mariana, and she helped me transfer our new domain to GoDaddy quickly. I couldn't believe how easy it was. We gave Network Solutions over a month to try to transfer this domain and it took them 3 failed attempts before we finally decided to go with escrow.com's advice and use GoDaddy instead. Once the offer is accepted you can pay into the escrow account and then go to inspect the car. If everything is as expected you can release funds to the seller right there on the spot.
