One of three marmalade jars I ordered was broken. English Tea Store's online customer service form would not accept the order number on the invoice. Their phone contact was impossible to reach. One hour waits on hold. My experience with this company was very bad.

Don't pay for the fast delivery, because you won't get what you pay for. My delivery was "guaranteed" for September 1, but it didn't arrive until September 3, so I basically wasted an extra $10.

ETS still carries a great selection of teas and tea blends, but they no longer offer most of the English treats and cooking items I used to buy regularly.
They do have the best prices for things like Christmas pudding and holiday items, but they don't keep the best everyday British staples in stock any more. I'm often afraid to try anything new, because I'm concerned they'll never sell it again.
They are very good at refunds when something you ordered ends up being out of stock. They sent me an email asking if I wanted a refund or to wait indefinitely, and they refunded my card immediately when I chose the refund.

This store us my new bff for UK goodies. The cookies came in tact. The chocolate although I haven't opened and tried it, was NOT melted. They placed a freezer pack which melted but it did its job! I have to admit I was expecting melted shortbread chocolate cookies. However, that was not the case! Ordering was easy. Waiting for delivery and/or ship time was just a few days.
What I wanted was in stock this time
No issues. Easy to order. Fast shipping, and packaged well. Thank you.
One thing I was concerned about was the packing of the product, being glass bottles. The bottles were well packed even though the box was a bit damaged. Everything was intact.
