We have shopped at the English Tea Store for years and been more than satisfied. However, our recent order was disappointing, in particular the Taylor's of Harrogate Spiced Christmas loose leaf tea. There was pretty much no flavor, even using more than the recommended amount of tea and steeping longer. On contacting the English Tea Store by phone the agent was unsympathetic, and not polite or friendly. On another topic, I was surprised to see the 1 oz tea samples price jump from $2.09 last year to $4.49.
It was easy to place the order and I was always up to date of when the order shipped and when I may expect it
This was my first order with English Tea Store. They have a wonderful selection of gifts and little gems. The service was excellent. My items arrived in California in about 6 business days on excellent condition.

My purchase was easy to do, came on time and was exactly what I was looking for. The two teapot/cup combos were perfect for the gifts I was looking for and reasonably priced.
Ordering was easy and shipping was good. I tried a new bulk tea and it wasn't good and these teas are pricey so a little disappointing because I had to throw it away. I would recommend you stick with the ki ds you know because the teas are to expensive to throw away.

I always have to remember to use my street address to get free shipping but otherwise great experience and great tea. I love, love, love the Pomegranate Rosehip tea. I purchased a tea chest and 2 matcha bowls. After placing my order, I did receive an email asking me to call them about something; turns out they just wanted to make sure the shipping and billing information was correct. The tea chest (Made in the USA!) was of good quality wood and had a wonderfully simple design to it. I would have preferred the dividers be fixed instead of removable, though. The matcha bowls were at a discounted price, which is why I initially got them; after receiving them, I was ecstatic to find that they were originally from Adagio Teas. The package arrived on time and the items were well protected.
I only drink Irish decaf breakfast tea & this tea is the best I've found
