This has happened a number of times over the years. I have always received a second shipment to replace the broken jars of marmalade. I recently ordered 12 jars of marmalade. Till the charts were broken in the initial shipment. The second shipment to replace the two broken jars had one jar intact and the second jar broken. I can see that the packaging was appropriate and I fault Federal Express. Perhaps you should contact Federal Express and insist that when a package is labeled "fragile", they treat the shipment as fragile.
I ordered Black Currant Jam and received them all promptly. They were fresh and safely packaged. Delicious 😋!
