Customer service was great in helping find a replacement smoke detector. I took the 43 year old mounting plate off the wall and replaced it with my new mounting plate. I did not have drill any holes. Yeah...Simple.

Easy website to negotiate

Easy website to negotiate. Fast delivery, but not free. I'm concerned that the Kidde wired smoke/co ten-year battery detectors won't last ten years. The build date stamped on the units is from two years ago. Seems to be old stock.
