I was looking for a replacement hard wired smoke detector that was no longer manufactured. The old model had a set of pins in a line, and all of the replacement models had pins in a triangular configuration. I initially ordered replacements from a different on-line retailer, but had to return because they did not know about the change in pin configuration. The part I ordered form electricebargainstores.com came with an adapter so that I could plug the new smoke detector into the exiting plug, and I did not need to change the existing wiring. All told, it took longer to get the ladder out to change the smoke detector, than it did to make the change. I am glad that these guys figured out that you need a adapter with the new smoke detector, instead of just the new smoke detector.
So yes, I was happy with the product and the service.
