Purchased 3 of the FireX Replacement Kits to replace old expired Smoke Alarms. I received the shipment within a few days. The adapters worked great to convert old FireX socket to new Kidde version. It literally only took a few minutes to install the new alarms (plug and play). New alarms are working great - I have NOT had any issues with false alarms.
I initially used the Online chat feature of the EBS website to ensure I was purchasing compatible alarms. The rep. Was confusing when answering my questions. I then contacted EBS by phone and had all my questions answered. I would definitely recommend EBS.

I logged in to look at some pretty highly specialized light fixtures online and was greeted by a little "Can I help you..." popup. It was extremely refreshing to find that there was a real person operating the keyboard on the other end. They salesperson on the other end was extremely helpful in locating the product I needed, letting me know what options they had ready to ship, and were very up front and accurate with when they could get the items to me. It was soooo refreshing to deal with people that communicated clearly, efficiently, and professionally. It's very honestly the best online shopping experience I've ever had and I do a lot of purchasing in my line of work.
Fast delivery had just what i needed
Extremely disappointed. I was told to rush getting my order in. I placed the order and was told on back order. In my original order I gave a deadline date and it was disregarded. Electric Bargain Store then approached me to break up my order to have delivered in two shipments, but at time of first shipment now said they could do it all. The order was not delivered on time nor did EBS assist much with getting the shipment to arrive on time. They did not express any urgency to the carriers who were delivering the product allowing the shipment to sit for a couple of days and then arrive late. BEWARE!
Shipping and Handling costs were somewhat high for the size and weight of items. Could have been shipped in a padded envelope for a lot less.

Replacing old Firex fire alarms with a custom hard-wired connection. Their replacement provided the correct adapter, making the job a painless 20 minutes for 5 new alarms, with batteries included. I spent more time dragging the ladder around than doing the work.
There was no one available to answer my questions.
I called the customer service and talked to a very nice lady about one of the smoke detectors I was buying.
She was very knowledgeable about the product and was able to answer my question. I completed my order on line and my order was not only on time but was exactly what I wanted.
