Am not sure if eharmony is the best site for finding love cos ive heard about other good one's like tinder and wejustfit.com but for me its good I like it a lot I like the way it works and have had sum gd chats wi girls that id like to have a date with I hope I find sum1.
So I made complaints and as mentioned got hung up on twice, I believe they abort calls after 10 mins so say what you have to say in that time period if you call. They sent me more matches since my complaint, a bit more local but still after almost 5 months I have not met a soul. The two times I actually had correspondence with someone suddenly the guy disappears from their site and I am given an email warning that he was removed for protection purposes. So eharmony is either full of fraudsters or they are using phoney profiles and having staff correspond with members just to keep them appeased. When the time comes to meet suddenly the member disappears. It is a phony waste. I think originally when it started it was a legit company, but greed and success got in the way and now it is a money grab with no interest in making clients matched or happy. Don't join.
Their customer support sucks and they hung the phone up on me several times. Cory who is the manager at customer service said she could not help me find out about my account since it was with their trust and safety dept. I was only told to send them a email and wait. When I wanted more info or the access to a live person to discuss the issues with my account, she hung up on me. This is not how you run a business. Their web site crashes like crazy too!
I signed up for a three year subscription, I am very dissatisfied with the service for many reasons. They will close your account but know you are not eligible for any type of a refund for the year remaining on the paid in advance subscription($263.00). They give you three days to cancel for a refund! I'm sure that's in the fine print somewhere!
I was not getting matches in my area, nobody would respond to my communications, I hate to re enter the data each time to logon to the site. Waste of my time and hard earned money!
When I did call to cancel it took me 10 times to tell them to give me a refund. The cancelled the account and said, "is there any thing else". Yes, I said how about my money back. You can go through some type of trust and safety rational to try to get your money back.

I think eHarmony are a victim of their own success because you hear, read and watch so many good things about them and their ability to help singles like me find their 'other half ', and you believe you'll at worst have lots of fun dates, and at best be married within no time! I've had one date on the site and it was a bit of a snoozefest lol! Anyway, switched to wejustfit.com after a friend recommended it as a place for serious daters (makes me sounds boring lol!) and that site is on another level, definitely sticking with it.
They matched me with 2 men they removed from the site 2 days later...? Really!? Customer Service replies are embarrassing scripted. There's little difference between this site and any other. Disguised.
This is another dating site that only cares about money. I cancelled my account and turned off automatic renewal, yet I kept getting charged. When I called to complain, I was told that it was turned back on a few minutes after it was cancelled. So who did that? My guess is that someone within the company went in and made that change so they could keep getting paid.
This is the worst. Way over priced and the only matches in my area were after a sugar daddy. Dumb questions in there profile evaluation section.
I like eHarmony a lot and it's up there with the best dating sites ive tried, isn't quite number 1 (wejustfit takes that accolade) but I do think you can try it and see what you think as a lot depends on the area youre in.
E-harmony is the worst website I have ever experienced. No one should use it. This is horrible company, everybody have to know it.
I just cancelled my e-harmony. First of all, it advertised like $39.90 for six month. But, few days ago, I have received an e-mail of another payment of $39.90, and I called them what is going on. They told me that it was 3 payments of $39.90 for six months. Also, they told me that I could not cancelled until i make last payments... I did not know that, but they said it clearly on terms and agreement, which may be in a sentence or two in a very long 'terms and agreement'. Nonetheless, e-harmony is the worst website, in that there is no option of cancelation or it was not same as shown in the help. When I talked to their representative for cancelation, i complained about "unclearly written payments" and he said that I did not clearly read it. Well... if they put a sentence in such long terms and agreement... who would notice it.
Secondly, in addition to the money issue, the match was horrible too. People they recommend lived so far away, like distance need airplane... Also, many of them are not active.
I got tons more on this company, which makes me to stop subscribing now (though it could be available until next march). I do not want to receive anymore matches from this company...
The worst company.
I cancelled my auto renewal two months ago and today a payment for auto renewal in the amount of $179 was charged. If you try and cancel your auto renewal too soon the field that you need to select is grayed out making it impossible to cancel. Very shady and very disappointing. Plus the people that I have been matched with are questionable at best. 95% of the matches will not go through the eharmony guided steps and most have immediately requested my phone number and / or my personal email account. I am not comfortable with this but eharmony will not acknowledge or do anything about this. Shady practices all around. Just like every other company, eharmony is not about matching, it is about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I used eHarmony for four months and during this time I went on multiple dates. Same were great, some were a big waste of time, but that's not the fault of eHarmony. If you are looking for a decent and honest dating site, I think eHarmony is right for you. There can be a lack of matches in your area, depends where you from. I have made the experience that eHarmony works perfect in combination with Mingle2day which is also a good dating site. Both sites will basically cover all regions so if you weren't lucky on one site you may want to try the other site. Just an advise.
Ask me, this is one of the best dating sites I have used so far. Many members and as far as I can tell almost no fake profiles. IMO it comes pretty close to Mingle2day regarding quality and quantity. No reason to complain, absolutely legit and reliable dating site!
Very expensive and you get nothing for your money. All of the "matches" are really far away and they are much older then I'd date. I do not want to date someone 20 yrs older than me. There is no way to select an age range. Cannot chage main picture. People don't communicate at all. Terrible dating service. Been on it almost 2 months and nothing. Glad I got a really good promotional deal.

The worst EVER. If you think you might want to try... Dont. You will be so disappointed. The site makes you jump through hoops to chat with anyone. By the time I made it to a chat we had both lost interest. The site has never sent me a match that fit my criteria and have only sent me matches once and I have been on for about 3 weeks. The bad part about that is you suave to wait for them to match you up. Better off going to the bar.
I was contacted right away by 2 men who never appeared in my "matches". How are they contacting me if we were never "matched"? Of course they mysteriously dissappeared after wasting my time with the back and forth questions. That's because they never existed. They're using profiles of cancelled members to start conversations. Sad.
Was ready to give up totally but in the last month ive had two gr8 dates using eharmony and wejustfit.com so maybe there is hope for me yet fingers crossed dont give up!
They are a scam! They say is $14.95 a month for 2 years and under fine print they add "for 3 installments of $119". They take the three installments in the first 3 months. So if you find someone in the first month, you basically paid $300 for 1 month. They don't even let you cancel until all 3 payments have been made.

Replace any answers you have already left with offensive language which in turn will violate their terms and conditions and they will have no option than to close your account. As for getting a refund good luck.
Answer: I called my credit card company because I cancelled within the three day grace period. Eharmony tried to say I had waited too long and therefore would be no refund. My credit card company disputed the charges, my account was credited and I was just notified that the dispute has been approved. No more eharmony charges. Hoe things work out for you.
Answer: You can't opt out. You are locked for the whole duration of your subscription even if u dont use it anymore they will charge ur visa regardless untill ur contract expires. I have to spend 11 more months to a site I cant use coz Im a transgender woman and no man in there wants me.
Answer: Well I have but I No longer on those sites anymore because they are scammers of course and I was on match truly.com and I deactivate my account off there as well but however sometimes I register on that website match truly.com even though I'm No longer a member on that website anymore because I still see the same lady Anna I'd Number is 60780729 and she's still online right now just like any other ladies you see on that site so I go on there just to waste their time and use abusive behavior against them to teach them a lesson and I don't pay money for that so that's why if you Noticed just pay close attention to the lady Anna on match truly.com and you will see her on wishdates.com and many other dating sites so I'm just tracking these websites down and you can see the ladies are Not real and can you tell me what Normal person would stay online 24 hours a day and seven days a week that's Not a Normal person that's a Networker and they like to make all kinds of excuses for themselves so don't listen to Nonsense about what they say because if you keep talking to these fake ladies they will Robb you out of your money so pretty much wasting your time because you are Not getting anywhere but a dead end and believe me I know what I'm talking about because I was on that website for two years and believe me they are phony and so is the customer support they are fake and they think they are very intelligent human beings and they think they can manipulate people so just watch yourself and be careful because I'm still seeing the same ladies on that website today from two years ago they are Not real and they are Not looking for anyone
