The company has garnered a mixed reputation, with notable strengths in the ease of ordering and timely delivery of floral arrangements, often praised for their quality and customer service responsiveness. However, significant concerns arise regarding unauthorized obituaries, which many customers find unethical and misleading, leading to confusion among grieving families. Additionally, issues with product quality, including discrepancies between ordered and delivered items, have been reported. Overall, while some customers appreciate the service, the company's practices surrounding obituaries and inconsistent product fulfillment have led to widespread dissatisfaction.

This was my first experience ordering through Echovita. It was a wonderful experience. The ordering and delivery was a smooth process. I will use Echovita again when ordering for special occasions.
Thank you for assisting our company to send arrangements to one of our team members who was out of the area.
Easy-to-use Perfect! Family sent me multiple pics of the place lily and the card
So you will order flowers, etc through them. SCAM. MIGHT BE OK IF THEY SAID up front that they were not the official but it's their scamming way of making money off of someones death.
Ordered a 30 inch bright colored arrangement. What arrived was ok, but it wasn't a 30 inch arrangement. It was a few small plants in a basket. It served its purpose and was nice looking, just not what I ordered.
You make ordering flowers so easy. I'm sending them for my sister who was a dear friend of Roberta and her husband Bob. The family was very pleased with the beautiful flowers.
Was informed a day after the funeral that the order could not be fulfilled. This florist was advertised on the funeral website. I believe it is a scam, as this has happened previously.
Lesson learned...do NOT order from websites advertised on funeral/obituary sites!
Hi Norman C.,
We are sorry to hear about your experience. If your order couldn't be fulfilled, you should have been advised either on June 26th, which was the same day you placed your order, or on June 27th. You didn't order from the funeral home website, you ordered from Echovita, an obituary website. Also, this was the first time you have ever ordered flowers from our website, so this has NOT happened previously. Lastly, Echovita is not a scam. Your order couldn't be fulfilled, and your order was refunded. Scams don't notify customers when their order cannot be fulfilled. Scams don't provide refunds either.
Very happy with the plant that was ordered and delivered. However, I was NOT happy about the hidden fee for the international transaction fee. I have no problem paying it, but it should have been included as a line item on the charges billed to our company credit card. It was a total surprise to see the charge hit the statement and no paperwork back up for it.
It was nice, that this service works with a local florist to the Funeral especially since we were across the country from the funeral. We were worried when we got a notice that they would have to substitute flower types because not all flowers were available, but we received a picture of the arrangement and were more than happy with the outcome. It got complements from the family. The lack of variety in the selections is a little limiting, but otherwise we were very happy with how it worked out.
Was hoping for a little big larger bouquet for the money. Otherwise, easy to order.
Way too much difficulty logging in to post a sympathy message (I blame Google)
Made it easy to order flowers in a city we aren't familiar with and they let me know when they were delivered
Everything went according to plan, the Gracious Lavender flower arrangement arrived on time and at its specified location. Even the comments were posted ahead of the wake so that the family knew there were people standing around them in their time of grief.
The Gracious Lavender flower arrangement was absolutely breathtaking.
I would like to add this, I failed to fill out the entire form and I wasn't aware of it until after the fact, but this organization got it all done and filled in the gap with all the information I failed to supply and brought everything together in record time.
From start to finish Echovita was and is the epitomy of excellence.
Echovita, Thank You, for everything
They could not provide our selected arrangement, they phoned/emailed stating such and asked what other arrangement we wanted. Unfortunately, we were traveling and did not get message in time. They canceled the order and gave us our money back. Pleased with their overall service.
Message I received is " no one available to take delivery". It was an OBIT worth the time and date. Attempted Delivery one week early!
REALLY.
Hi William L.,
We understand the circumstance is unfortunate, however, you were notified well in advance of the date of delivery that your order couldn't be fulfilled, leaving you with plenty of time to place your order elsewhere. This is exactly what should happen in this situation.
They couldn't deliver in my area. I cancelled order and found florist that could deliver
Ordered flowers for a memorial service that started at 11 am and flowers showed up late which I can accept that as it was day after holiday. Unfortunately with them arriving late never had chance to read cards. Got call later in the day from another friend who was recieving flowers from one of her other friends. Evidently the flowers I was sending to memorial service were delivered to her house 4 hours later for her 90th birthday. She happened to be a close friend that knew when she read card that it had to be Neal and his Son Steven that were sending to their neighbors memorial. Other than that the arrangements looked great and I thank you for your service. Just be careful on the small details of the orders
It was ok arrived on time and were eady to put together.but they look like plastic ferns.nit like the video
Answer: Candles, messages, and memories left on Echovita only appear on the obituary page you left it on Echovita. They do not simultaneously appear on the funeral home's website. No where on Echovita does it say candles, messages, or memories left on our website appear on the funeral home's website. You'd have to visit the funeral home's website yourself and leave whatever you'd like there. Thank you. In the future, you may contact us directly via our contact us section.
Answer: The eternity candle you purchased is a virtual candle that remains lit on the obituary page on our website. The family is not directly notified, but your message and candle are posted publicly on the obituary page, so anyone who visits the page will be able to see it.
Answer: Hi James, you may call our partner, Blooms Today directly to inquire about your order at 1-800-522-8707. This phone number is also stated on our website on the flower selection and checkout pages.

Hi Jim F.,
Your claims are completely false. Our website is very clear about how we operate. You said we make it look like we are the offical website...first of all, Echovita is a legitimate website that further shares public information about those who have passed to help support the family. If you read our About Us on our website and our FAQ, our operations are clear. Also, there is a button on each obituary page that reads, "Authorize the original obituary". If it was the original obituary we posted, that button would not be there. When an obituary is uploaded, edited, or authorized by the family, it says so on the bottom of the obituary text. Furthermore, 50% of any commission we receive is put aside for the family, which they can claim by joining our solidarity program.
