No help for sellers

EBay over protect buyers and do not care about sellers. Anyone can sit behind a computer and bang in a negative and the seller can not respond. Same old EBay famous for not look after the seller.

When buying clothes I always select 'UK only' as the sizes are accurate and I expect a decent quality item. I find that selecting 'UK only' means nothing now. It may say the item is a UK seller but when you look into it you'll find the shop is actually in China. This has caused much disappointment and a waste of my time and money. The sizes are all wrong and the quality is very very poor. The item never looks like what's in the picture and trying to return the item becomes a real pain in the $#*!.
I complained to ebay but never received a reply.
Ebay used to be good but find myself veering away from it now.

Spent over 20 years on and off using ebay to sell. Don't waste your time. I've been scammed so many times now. Scammers are getting police to witness empty parcels now so buyers can get their money back from ebay cases and keep the item. It's a sad world. Yes, you will lose your item and your cash!

Terrible at best. Completely fraudulent company
Pay 20% fees,
People bid, dont pay, then ebay charges you to relist things
Cases opened by buyers are ALWAYS resolved in their favour even when items have NOT been returned to the seller - without any proof from the purchaser that they have returned items
Full of time wasters who bid and never actually intend to pay
Ebay is risk free in the whole situation with the business expected to pick up all costs

Immoral company that deserves to lose its market share for how fraudulently they behave.

Removed ALL my items listed off ebay today and vow to never use it again.

ADIOS YOU LYING CHEATS.

Unbelieveable! Buyer sent message on 19th July saying he received the item then a week later opened a "not received" case for same item. I complained to ebay as it goes against their fraud policy. Ebay found in buyers favour yet the proof is in ebays own message system! As well as royal mail track and trace. Now impossible to contact anyone at ebay as it sends you to automatic assistant, and if you post on facebook then they message you and disappear. Wasted an hour chasing this yet the fraudster has even left me negative feedback!

Being discriminated be EBay. They suspended my account without providing explanation why. I did nothing wrong and they told me I'm 'putting at risk safety and integrity of their members'. Such a slap onto face, they didn't provide any actual reason at all, because 'it's their policy not to disclose that information'
They take responsibility for nothing, provided no explanation for saying that I did something to breach integrity and safety, and I feel badly covertly discriminated against.

Staff Not professional on ebay office, rubbish. Im High rate disabled and I didn`t received my order. I bought charger for my Mobility scooter, but didn`t received. Royal mail courier note on line "No Answer" but this is not true I was all day home. I opened case on ebay "Didn`t received my order" but ebay staff closed case and gove all my payment to seller. So, I without item and without money I paid £32. I rang ebay office but they just ignored. They said go to Royal mail and ask your parcel? But I was in Royal mail and they doesn`t have any parcel for me.

Ebay is quick to charge you fees for selling but does nothing to stop new accounts being set up without any repercussions for not paying bidders. You are no longer able to give negative feedback and have no Back up from Ebay itself who seem to not give a monkeys about their paying customers

Ebay have finally now become to big for their boots. They never get back to you when you request call back, their on-line chat bx is stupid as you can only fit in 155 letters at a time! No customer service e-mail address. No way of sending screens to them. No postal address.
I recently was told by my mother that on her account she got a promotional offer £1 in final selling fee's if she opted into the offer, whilst I have been selling a long time and only get 80% off in fee's! It feels disgraceful and discriminatory if you ask me. Should not be allowed to treat people differently who are members with an account. We got our offers on the same date time, jstu different ones, I could be wrong but i think £1 in selling fee's is better than 80% off their normal commission fee rate of 12.8%!

Ebay also think they know how much postage costs will be on an item sent within uk, i post lots of custom made costumes, their values are high at over £200 which costs a lot to send as need to be flat backed, cannot be followed, adding to large parcel sizes! Despite telling over & over again, they ave the check to only let you put in £9.50 postage then take 12.8% off you in fee' plus 30p charge! Good bye ebay!

I have been using eBay for over 16 years.
I haven't sold anything for a while but I had some stuff I wasn't using so I put it on eBay.
They took £21.98 from my bank account for the listing, the item then sold for £560 plus £10
Postage. I checked my payments on eBay they had taken a further £76 off, so I contacted eBay and spoke to a lovely lady polite and professional who told me that was right.
Have the heads of eBay lost their f@£&ing minds 15% charge to sell on eBay.
I'll never ever use eBay again

EBay money back guarantee policy = 0/10!

Just a quick email to complain about eBay's money back guarantee policy. I ordered an item that didn't get delivered (although they say it DID). Now apparently 'I' have to do the detective work to find out where it is! And trying to get through to the courier is impossible…. And NOT a free call. So buyers beware - their MBG policy ain't worth a dollar!

CRIMINAL ORGANISATION for selling, I will be contacting the police and consumer rights bodies.

Buyer in Isle of Man bought my EV charging cable without checking 8 photos with immaculate detail or messaging me for any questions. We could not agree to refund so eBay messaged me and said case is on hold - we will contact you if we need anything. 4 days later they gave him a full refund without contacting me or showing any signs of investigating any detail about what happened. 3 hours of phonecalls later, and my property is stuck in the Isle of Man due to lack of courier service and a potentially fraudulent buyer who won't reply to messages about returning it. After wasting £250 of time on a selling a £65 item, I've lost both the sale money and my property. The only response from 3 different eBay calls is that 'you should have accepted responsibility and sent a postage label to the buyer' when we told you the case is on hold and we are investigating it. EBay have offered no assistance, even after being told this is a buyer fraud, have investigated nothing, never called or contacted me and are now refusing to contact the buyer to help me get my property. There has been no assistance since day one, only justification by saying I didn't accept a return while they placed the case on hold.

A modern day criminal mafia, avoid at all costs unless you want to lose your property and be a victim of fraud. Police, trade bodies and online campaigns wil now commence and I will look at court proceedings. They have lost £10-15,000 of lifetime custom through this crime.

MONEY HUNGRY SPITEFUL WEBSITE!
Avoid avoid avoid if your a seller for the LEAST little issue your account will be blocked Or restricted! The fees are daylight robbery do NOT sell your'll make NOTHING!
For any sale you make eBay will suck it all away and your'll have pennies!

If you do not pay your fees they'll pass your details on without your permission to a debt collection agency who then charge ANOTHER ADDITIONAL FEE!

Before this your'll be HOUNDED with messages phone calls and emails reminding you to pay these eBay people have no shame! Disgusting people!?
All eBay cares about is money nothing else any Bull$#*! and they'll throw you to the dogs!

EBay DO NOT in anyway support sellers they are buyer friendly and always side with the buyer!
I've sold on this site for years and as Of recently have been met with numerous issues because of lying scam buyers and now they've introduced a refund fee so if a cheap $#*! buyer decides to change their mind you have to PAY to refund them! And it might not even be your fault!
Sold another item and the buyer lied stating the material wasn't as described eBay intervened and let the buyer KEEP the item and gave them a refund!
Despite me providing proof of postage and documents to support everything and photos of the parcel! Speaking to staff on the phone and trying to resolve! Never again!
Buyers know the eBay buyer protection system and LIE to get free items and eBay is so dumb and believes them!

After any sales your funds are held until doomsday weeks after the sale beyond unfair! If anything goes wrong they are quick to steal your hard earned money!

I've used this site for years as of the recent treatment will no longer be using this site to sell! The fees are horrendous forever increasing and they treat sellers like crap! AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Use other selling sites elsewhere. FOR YOUR SANITY! DO NOT USE! Your'll only end up losing money and giving yourself headache!
EBay? More like scumbay! The staff should all Rot in hell!

I had recently started selling on Ebay. I made every effort to dispatch items the same day and give the absolute best customer service I could. Their own stats said I was an above average seller which I was chuffed to beans with. Then yesterday, out of the blue, I received an email saying they had suspended my Ebay account permanently but wouldn't tell me why! They have blocked my account and removed all my listings and have now told me they will be hanging onto the £517 they owe me for 60 days! I have tried twice to appeal their decision but they have refused to listen or review their decision or give me any insight on what it was that made them suspend me. I will be writing to the FCA and Trading Standards but I'd advise any potential sellers to think twice about using them - this could happen to you any any time too, it's happened to plenty of others I am aware of. Their fees are extortionate too!

Dreadful

Dreadful... if you are new to selling or have not sold in a while, don't bother. They will hold your money for between 2 and 3 weeks... including the postage. I was selling some items to try and make some money towards bills etc and I'm now worse off. I've had to find a combined £40 for postage of my sold items which has left me shorter that I would have been if I hadn't sold anything. I have over 140 100% positive feed back for both buying and selling and yet they feel the need to treat me like this. This money is needed now... not in 3 weeks!

Dreadful customer service

Just wanted some help with a listings problem.
2 Hours later I am Fuming - as nobody works for ebay that you can 'chat' with online and nobody has a clue.
A 1 minute call back from an expert is still waiting to be received since yesterday.
The 'Manager' of the 'i suppose call center' i got put through to after an hour and half of 'no help' - cut me off because I asked for someone that could actually HELP rather than reading his script of NOT helping - Life on ebay used to be superb - fun - easy - and great to buy and sell.
WHY is is it now so difficult - complicated and now a 'Pain in the Harris' to use... SHOOT The Boss! TODAY... lets get back to being good again

No help at all from eBay with a faulty electronic item which stopped working after only a few months. The seller does not even respond to messages I sent at all, having made many attempts over several weeks. I will not use eBay again for anything electronic or expensive. At the very least eBay should ensure or try to encourage sellers to reply to a dissatisfied customer. However, no follow up or assistance from eBay.
