Like others report, I ordered a bag, they charged my Paypal account and issued a UPS notice of shipping with a tracking number. When the bag didn't arrive, I checked with UPS and they said it wasn't a valid tracking number. I contacted Newegg for who they are a merchant, and Newegg knew nothing, Finally eBags informed me the bag was out of stock. Completely fraudulent! Avoid!

Horrible horrible HORRIBLE Experience with this company. We ordered new luggage (excited) for a future trip we are going on. Paid extra to have it overnighted and be here on the 9th. Being that we were leaving on the 11th. 9th came and at the end of the day I was starting to worry. So I called their customer service number. They said they were sorry and that the brand who we bought from was backed up. They promised it would be here by the 10th. 10th came and I checked my tracking number that EBAGS gave me was for ANOTHER ORDER IN SC I live in Key west! So i call again... they then tell me that "we are so sorry but the brand just told us they are running behind schedule... we will send it to you right away. I said at this point please cancel my order I will call the brand directly and go through them. I called the brand and ordered another set of luggage directly through them which i received 2 DAYS later. Thinking that this was great, all was good, only to wake up this morning to a CREDIT CARD THAT WAS BILLED BY EBAGS... for bags never sent or received... throwing my credit card into a major overdraft (being that was had just ordered the bags through the vendor directly.) I called the bags and they are now telling me I have to wait 3-5 days to get this credit. NEVER NEVER NEVER again ebags... I will tell the world about how poorly you treat customers who spend $1000 with you!

This site has some great products. They have all different kinds of bags like handbags, messenger bags, and luggage. I personally have not had a problem with their customer service. I have been very happy with the bags I have bought from this site.

I placed an order for over $310 including a red leather bag that was priced very well and I had tracked for a while. The other items arrived as expected but the bag never arrived. The company never notified me that anything was wrong. I email customer service today only to be told that the item "is no longer available" - mind you it was avaiable at the time since the purchase was confirmed and I received an estimated shipping date. They made no attempt to contact me to let me know or to correct the situation - they simply told me to pick another color AT A HIGHER PRICE! Terrible customer service - I am letting everyone know"

Never received bag
July 9, 2013

Never received bag. UPS lost bag. Called customer service for refund. Never received the $250 refund. Bag showed up three weeks later- box damaged. Refused delivery. Still no refund. Customer service said that I would have to wait unitl they rec. Bag at there warehouse, UPS sent it to there coprporate office? 4 weeks and counting still no refund. Reported to BBB

First order and they sent the wrong suitcase. I called them and they said they would send out another one 2 day Fed-Ex but it's been 3 days and when I called they said it takes 2 to process and it's not even shipping out until today. Customer service department is lacking... the bag was a good deal but there are other sites with the same deal so I would probably not order from them again. We shall see if there is any hassle when I have to ship the other suitcase back to them.?

I used ebags.com for the first time, when ordering my sister's birthday present. I was a little leery to try the site out, but after seeing how detailed their descriptions were, I decided to try it. I received the package in the time they stated, and it was exactly how they described. Needless to say, my sister LOVED her bag, and now uses it in place of the bag that she was attached to. It was a great experience, and I will use them again. The only downside, is that they don't have as big of a selection as I would like.

I have ordered two times from this site and had a great experience both times. They are a little expensive unless they are running a promotion. Many times they offer promos ranging from 20%-30% off and free shipping. Wait for the sale if you can.

Just recently tried it for the first time; I was very impressed! The price was great; it arrived quickly. I decided the bag was not exactly what I wanted, and their return process was so easy. They also refunded the money very quickly. I would definitely recommend it!

I agree with the other reviewer that it's a great source for luggage and travel bags. I've only ordered one item, it came but the colour wasn't as described/shown on the webpage. I'm not sure how that happened as the colour I ordered was "Fog" and it's clearly a grey in the picture for that product listing. But when it arrived, it was a cyan colour - what's confusing was that the tag that came with it also said "Fog". So either the manufacturer mislabeled it, the product listing page had an older picture or ebags somehow mislabeled it. Either way, it wasn't a big deal and I didn't want the hassle of returning it just because of colour discrepancy.

The only reason I haven't bought anything else from them is also because I find their pricing for handbags slightly high and good deals can be found elsewhere. But I think that their "comment and get 20% off" deal is a smart practice. Product reviews for online shopping always help and that's a great incentive.

I purchased several bags from them. They arrived quickly and are exactly as described. I've found their prices to be a little higher than some other sites, otherwise I'd give them a "love it" rating.

Updated review from June 2022. I have to change my review from 5 * to 1*. Ebags seems to have been purchased by Samsonite. The site and service has suffered! The site still have ebags products and Samsonite products.
BUT with 3 orders (1 as a guest and 2 thru my account) NOT ORDER CONFIRMATION email is sent. You have no order number, no confirmation of order, and no way to check status. There is now NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER available on the website. Btw, to to google and type in "ebags customer service phone number" and you will get it. I emailed customer service twice with no response.

This one amazing company is now a big Don't Order. Sad.

Ebags is an amazing place for luggage, bags and backpacks. Biggest names in luggage are out there in sets and individually. If you compare prices this site is a must!

I personally have to recommend ebags own brand of luggage, rolling duffels, and backpacks. Amazing quality, fantastic design, durable and sturdy construction and most of the pieces come with a lifetime warranty! We ordered 4 rolling suitcases for an extended air trip (where we each got one and only bag to bring). Ebags cases were so brilliantly set up and came with inserts to divide the larger storage areas if needed. Incredible strong wheels and pull handles! Can't recommend them highly enough.

This is the site I use for all my luggage purchases. I am a big comparison shopper and will look at deals from local brick stores and every online site I trust. I come back to ebags every time!
