This company is a complete and utter joke.
The products they advertise simply to do not exist.
There are no direct contact details for couriers and you will be informed at the last minute that your product is not able to be delivered on the scheduled day by text. Subsequently no one will contact you to organise an alternate day - this is down to you to wait on the phone for an hour or more to speak to a representative who knows nothing about the delivery details. Ultimately I had to cancel the order when it did not arrive after several days of waiting in the house for a delivery of a product that I do not believe they even stock.
This is an absolutely atrocious and infuriating business model, I am not sure how they are even making money.
Would not touch with a barge poll.
The delivery did not arrive on Saturday (again)despite receiving notification on Friday at 17.10 it had been despatched. I was promised delivery on Saturday and told a call would be made 1 hr before delivery. Not only did the delivery not arrive but Worldstores did not even have the common decency to call to say there was problem.
My anger now is because Worldstores clearly operates based on dishonesty, lies and deceit. The website clearly states / indicates you have the product in stock, in your warehouse and they are available for next day delivery. This is a lie. I believe your website is operating under false representation and deceiving customers based on false promises.
My parents have now both stayed at home for 2 Saturdays ready to receive the promised delivery which did not arrive
I bought a bed for my daughter and the edging strip on the drawer was coming off. That was in March, it is now July and despite repeated promises from customer services to get a new drawer sent out to us they have not bothered! Avoid at all costs!
Three weeks after placing an order and taking my money and approximately 20 phone calls, emails, messages through facebook page i still have not received my order!.
Requests to speak to a manager fall on deaf ear's. Phone operators all use the same old patter to fob you off in the hope that you will give up and go away. How trading standards have not stopped this company from trading i do not know. When i am reminded by the operators that all my phone conversations are recorded i now reply with "good because maybe you could listen back to them as you clearly don't get what i am saying to you even though i have said it about 20 times". I would never recommend anyone purchase anything off of this site and would highly recommend you avoid it at all cost.
I have no good points to say about this company, it was the worst ever experience I have ever had in trying to purchase a product from them.
The site offers Next Day Delivery this is a lie they can not do this.
The items get delivered via the suppliers so the site does not tell you if they are in stock or not.
The site says that it has 90% happy customers which is false as you cannot write a review on there site.
I ended up waiting three weeks, rang them about 6 times (hours of my own time) and each time they said that it should be dispatched in 24 to 48 hours, which is a lie. In the end I cancelled the order to find that the refund was incorrect and I ended up ringing them again to sort out.
Ordered something online, received email saying item dispatched for delivery, tracked order which stated out for delivery. Not delivered so rang customer service who informed me that the item had not left the supplier! Cancelled order and would not under any circumstances buy from them again.
Never use this company goods promised for delivery never arrived impossible to make contact on phone. Have e mailed requesting my money be refunded lets wait and see how long it takes for my refund to arrive back into my account.
One very unhappy customer
Waited over three weeks, when i contacted them to enquire when it would arrive was told it was no longer in stock and they didn't know when it would be available. Asked for a refund and processed a paypal dispute due to non-receipt of goods. Was told i should be refunded within 48 hours. Now being told they won't refund me unless i cancel the dispute on PayPal. If i cancel the dispute and they don't refund me i can reopen the dispute! I'm so angry and feel like they are trying to manipulate the situation so they can steal from me! Don't trust this company at all.
I have never had an experience with any company as bad as this company, how they stay in business is beyond my comprehension.
Failed deliveries, broken promises, no updates, no resetting of expectations, no proactive contact, no escalation process.
All this is then compounded by agents how can hide behind process and policies to absolve themselves and business of any accountability. If you promise something to be delivered on a date and then advise that should not have been promised but no updates as to when you can expect (literally no one knows) then confirm a new delivery date and repeat the whole process you have to form the opinion nothing they can or will ever say can ever be trusted.
I really wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered, I only went off the "Feefo" feedback displayed proudly on their website which is quite clearly not representative of customer experience.
Please, please read all the reviews before you deal with this company as my opinion is not the only negative viewpoint on here so this must tell you something... don't buy from them unless you want to be disappointed and wasted weeks of your time.
9 weeks in on an item with a supposed 1-2 week lead time. I have had empty promises, lies on delivery dates, no responses to my queries/calls. This is undoubtedly the most horrendous organisation I have ever had to deal with. Order an item from them at your peril.
DO NOT BUY from this company
Bought new parasol, put it up slight breeze lifted parasol out of cast iron base, fell over pole crushed not strong enough to take size as too thin and light weight. Told shame no refund no apology. Pole bent so hard could not collapse parasol, only way to cut it through spokes £62.99, not including post lasted ten minutes. Sub standard goods.

I feel i need to add a positive to the negative of worldstores as what we received lends itself to it
We went to dreams to look at mattresses but had a budget, were not well off so this is a big investment & dreams, though found our perfect mattress, always wanted to upsell us & the price of the cheapest one fitted to us, massively excelled our price range.
So we knew what we wanted but wasnt prepared to pay dreams prices, so the wife went online & found the mattress we liked for £300 cheaper from world stores so we ordered it with the promise of a 3-4 week delivery.
Well 5 weeks later & it hadnt arrived so i started to panic & started to look up reviews like this & realised ive been doopt, i thought thats it ill never see our money again, in part the reviews were damning, so i rang customer services *******500 & was a little taken aback to how helpful they were (as i was expecting rudeness &^ blais, from the reviews) they said they were the 1st port of call & they would escalate it (i thought yeah that aint going to happen) but a day later i got an email to say it'd been escaleated & the following day i had a request to when could they deliver.
It got delivered on the day (yes their timescale says from 7am to8pm & they will ring an hour b4 (didnt happen)) & the drivers were exceptional (they couldnt find our road as the satnat takes them to bollards) & ended up carrying a heavy kingsize mattress 300 yards then up a flight of stairs to our bedroom.
So yes if you want it now & then go to dreams & pay over the odds if your prepared to wait, worldstores why not

How I wish I'd read these reviews before placing an order with this scamming, heartless 'Company'. They took my money for a bed, didn't turn up, didn't answer the phone etc etc. DONT USE THIS COMPANY EVER. You have been warned.
Worldstores are pathetic incompetent liars. Avoid them like the plague.
I ordered a shed from their website on 18 April. On the website it said 1-2 weeks delivery. I had not heard anything about a delivery date and it was getting close to the two week point, so I sent them a message. They replied defensively saying it was not yet two weeks. I wrote back and said I needed the shed urgently and if it was not delivered by 4 May (2 weeks and 2 days after I ordered) I would escalate my complaint.
So they did deliver it on 4 May, but they did not include a door! When I complained, they asked for photographic evidence. So I sent them two photos of the doorless shed. I have e-mailed them several more times and got bland useless replies. It is now 11 May and I still have no door.
These people are useless -- do not waste your money on them.
Delivery dates are a joke. Think this is a scam site. Will take your money and never deliver the goods
I ordered two bar tables in white. They delivered ones which had a wood finish.
I called stating that I would need the white ones by the next day. After endless back and forth, via phone and email, I still don't have the tables I need for our event. Very disappointed.
Also, they were unable to transfer me to a manager, and the manager they promised would call me did not. Awful!
Why oh why didn't I read the Reviews first! Delivery date ignored, appalling customer service and crap quality furniture. I could say more but it is just repeating over and over what has been said on this site already. The only one thing I would say is the people I have spoken to have been friendly, completely ineffectual however.
Will be contacting Watchdog, they just must investigate this company.
It is now the 7th May 2016 and as the bed was so, so late arriving we had no alternative but to buy another bed. Now we have waited weeks and weeks for the bed to be uplifted in order for our payment of £500.00 to be refunded, as obviously, it is needed since we had to purchase another bed?
Will never buy from this company again. Ordered 2 beds and 2 mattresses over 2 weeks ago. They were due to be delivered 2 days following my order date.
Took the day off work to wait - no phone calls. No delivery.
Called up customer services and delivery rebooked for 5 days later.
Another day off work waiting for my delivery - only one mattress turns up despite assurances from customer services that it would all be delivered.
Contacted customer services again, no one able to explain why my order was not delivered is its entirety.
Another day booked off work, 2 weeks after I was meant to have my order delivered - called customer services and finally given at time window between 3-4pm. Nothing turns up. Call customer services again, no explanation given just that the driver has gone 'AWOL'. Immensely frustrating, demand to speak to the manager and delivery rebooked for following day with assurances given that everything will be delivered. They were unable to give me a time frame.
Today - after 4 phone calls I had 2 beds delivered at 7pm. One mattress still outstanding. I was assured by the manager that 2 vans would arrive in the afternoon to complete my order. Appalling service. Despite assurances no call back given from customer services to explain where my mattress has been. Was only told that the mattress 'wasn't put on the van'. Customer services said they would call the depot and call me back with update. I am still waiting.
Do not use this company. Absolutely appalling service. I will never use them or World Stores again.
Worst customer service, you can actually tell by their voice that they don't give a dam. Said item was dispatched and I had to contact the delivery company, they said twice that someone from their team would phone back, but never did. Got my refund and will never shop there again.

Answer: Call the sales department line instead of customer services (worldstores.co.uk only cares about obtaining your cash and couldn't give a damn about customer service or industry laws and standards).
