WORST STORE EVER. Do not shop at DSW. They suck! My mom tried to return a pair of shoes that she had bought a week prior and they refused to take them back saying that the return was denied. She had the receipt and the tags or price label was still in tact, the shoes were not worn. There was no reason for the return to be denied, the store manager came out and said he couldn't help her and told her she needed to call some number and that's all he could say. My mom was furious! They are an awful store to shop at, worst customer service EVER. I will never shop there again myself. They suck so bad. Stay away!
I bought a pair of slip-on shoes which, while the correct size, had such a narrow opening that getting them on my feet was nearly impossible. I returned them in pristine condition (including the box) and received a refund that was less than I had paid. When I contacted them, it turned out they charge an $8.50 fee for returns. DSW clearly doesn't really stand by what they sell.
I am extremely disappointed in DSW's service. I placed an order online and after not receiving it after a month I reached out to find out where my order was. I went round and round for a month trying to get my boots. I bought them when they were half off for my sisters bachelorette weekend. I am so disappointed because they said they were shipping them two other times. I receive an email today stating they refunded my money if I wanted to make a new purchase. Hell no I don't! Are you kidding me! Less than two weeks from my sisters Bachelorette and I don't have them I am so furious and will never order from them again.
Thank you Nicole and Anna. You exchanged my 1 month old defective Converse high tops that Northway on the Block store North of Pittsburgh would do NOTHING for me. The Block's manager had zero customer service skills. There is discretion when dealing with defective product but she did not exercise any! So, I called Nicole and Anna's store and they went above and beyond to exchange defective shoes for new ones. Full credit for the defective ones and then a discount on the replacement shoes. That's what I call customer service.
DSW's customer service phone service offers zero assistance for sales from stores. That's where the Block's manager sent me to. Thanks for nothing DSW at the Block (North Hills of Pittsburgh). I don't recommend going there, ever. Drive the extra few miles to go where they treat you like an actual customer.
I had bought the wrong size shoe so I went to the store for a return. The store did not have my size so they were going to have it mailed to me. The women said she had to do the purchase before the return and frankly I don't care what order it's done it. She then proceeded to double charge me for my order where I had to have her get the manager. That part was annoying but not what I was mad about. When receiving my item in the mail it not only came in a destroyed box it was the wrong shoes. When I reach out to customer services I chatted with an agent that states someone will call me at 12:30pm. I waited all day for a call, until 4:30pm when I decided to try to call them back again (I called earlier but they don't open until 9am). During this call I spoke with a manager I explained that I was leaving for vacation and ordered them with enough time that I should have had them. She then made it seem like she was going to do me a favor to expedite my order when I should have recieved the correct shoes in the first place. She then gave me the option to bring the wrong shoes to the nearest DSW which from me is about 20 minutes or I can package it up and do a return. I do see why I have to go through all this trouble when all they did was mess things up from the beginning. I don't think it's right for them to make it seem like they are doing you a favor sending you the item that you ordered. Terrible customer service. Leaving your customers just as aggravated if not more from the no help from the managers. Clearly from the cashiers, to the packers to the managers everyone needs retraining on how to do their job.
I shopped online and ordered a pair of Ryka shoes. I received my notice that they were at the store and went to pick them up. I wanted to try them on to make sure they fit, and when I open the box I found that I had received used shoes. Unacceptable! I went back online to look at the site indicated that what I ordered was use and it wasn't. I will never shop at DSW again. I went to the.Ryka site and ordered the same pair for essentially the same price. Free shipping free returns right to my home. I don't ever plan to shop at DSW again and would not recommend them to anyone else.
BS! Spoke to 3 customer service reps about my order and was told the same things. It was "in process" and would be delivered in 1-2 days. I was promised 4-7 days in the beginning. I am on my 31st day. I do not have time everyday to contact CSR. NEVER EVER WILL ORDER FROM AGAIN!
I ordered 2 pairs of walking tennis shoes online to pick up in store. Adidas pair has nice color and fit nicely, but Kelly & Katie slip on snicker run small and too fitted for me. I was so fortunate to have Maryann assisted with the whole process. She helped return the original pair and reorder a replacement pair 1 size bigger in gray, my favorite color.
There was no extra charge and free shipping to my home. It was mid morning on a Saturday and it was busy with at least a dozen of customers in-line but yet Maryann was very calm, patient and focus to complete my transaction. Her professionalism, patience, and understanding are impressive. And her outstanding customer service is unbeatable. You're the Best Maryann! And thank you for your kindness.
I had a discount coupon for $30 off of a $49 purchase and I went in to get my price adjustment and of course every shoe that you purchase in their store is excluded from the coupons even though the brand I bought was not printed on the back of the coupon they sent me she pointed out that a sign on the side of their registers in their store shows that it is excluded in store what a freaking joke so tthe coupons they send to you are absolutely 100% worthless get it together DSW
I've bought a lot of nice shoes at DSW over the years. I just walked around your Cumberland mall stores and there's really just one isle of dress shoes. WTH!
I ordered a pair of slippers. DSW delivered the wrong pair. They then said they send the correct pair of slippers however, after 5 days I had to reach out AGAIN because they still had not arrived. Their customer service said they were lost in transit. They said they would send a pair within 24-48 hours. After 72 hours, the replacement/correct pair still was not delivered. I have reached out yet again to get my proper order. HORRIBLE experience
I went there to purchase a few pairs of shoes and I actually found them. When I went to the register to purchase them, I asked the cashier a simple question as to whether I could have a raincheck on the free bags they were offering since they ran out of them. Suddenly the manager who was not even part of the conversation and was standing behind the cashier doing something else comes to the counter and rudely takes the coupon for the free bag from me and patronizingly points to the dates on the back and tells me: "You have to look at the dates! Do you see these dates!? When you get these coupons look at the dates! Do you see March 2 to March 5? So look at the dates next time you get these!" I was so shocked I didn't know what to say. I was going to let it go, pay for the shoes and leave, until I saw a small defect on one of the pairs and asked if I could get 10% off for that pair. Again, Lindsey interjected and quite rudely said there is nothing wrong with them! You don't get anything for that! At this point I have had it with her rudeness and attitude. I left the shoes and walked out. This woman does not deserve to be a manager. She has absolutely no people skills. She is rude, unwelcoming, and patronizing. I will never go back to this DSW again.
My name is Leland Copeland. My phone number is *******905. On 3-5-23 i purchased a pair of Cole Haan Boots at Knollwood Mall DSW Store located at Highway 7, St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Mind you I traveled approximately 5-6 miles to the store. Customer Service Person Katelyne assisted me with my purchase. She was absolutely AWESOME. She was very personable, courteous, accommodating and helpful. She's definitely a Great Addition to DSW Team. Myself and my partner left the store smiling. Receipt # ******* 4 *******2023. Kindly Acknowledge and Reward Ms. Katelyne. Thank You So Much Leland C.
I placed an order for boots that never showed up they said they would replace that order then told me it would be delayed and they refused to just cancel and refund so I am stuck with no boots or money back! And also shop around I found the same boots 40 00 cheaper somewhere else
I went to the DSW on Polaris and I met the manager, Kyle! He went above and beyond to make my experience one to remember. I was interested in several shoes and he was able to locate two in his store and for the 3rd shoe he searched in other locations until he found it in Dublin Ohio. The next time I was there with all of the shoe lovers he meets and helps everyday, when I came in he remembered me! Again he helped and along with other team members, Monica and Erin. I will not got to a different DSW unless directed due to the show can be located there with their help! Kudos to Kyle and his other staff, Erin and Monica. Great Job and Customer Service!
Bought non slip shows and they were not non slip and they won't allow me to return them because I wore them for an hour. How am I supposed to know they aren't non slip until I can wear them.
Not a bad site. Not a bad site... But there's a problem with not having a large selection of men's shoes, I'm disappointed I didn't buy my husband's shoes. But I pleased myself).
I was shopping at the DSW in Maple Grove, MN with my son last week. I found a pair of boots I loved on the Clearance Rack that were priced at $69.95. There were stickers with this price on the sole of each boot. When I went to the cashier to checkout, the boots rang up at $155. I pointed out to the cashier that the advertised price on the boots was, in fact, $69.95, and asked her if she could correct the error. She called over a man (young with dark hair and glasses) who I assume was the Manager. His response to me was, "I'm not accusing you, but people switch the tags on merchandise all the time. The boots are $155." Tag switching? Seriously? Sounded like he was accusing to me, and to my grown son who was with me. Clearly, DSW is using a Bait and Switch tactic with their customers! I was very offended, to say the least. This young man could have easily checked the cameras. In the past, any time I have shopped at a retail establishment where the tagged price differed from the actual price, that retailer has ALWAYS honored the price on the item. Mislabeling items is the fault of the retailer, NOT THE CUSTOMER! I will no longer shop at DSW and am making sure to share tis with ALL my family, friends, co-workers and customers at my place of employment. I am disgusted beyond measure. Shame on you DSW!
Here is what happended to me when I was a DSW customer.
I placed a pickup DSW order (~200$). Before I picked it up, I received an email saying something like "thanks for picking up the order at the store". I immediately called DSW customer service for help as I didn't pick it up and didn't authorize anyone to pick it up. DSW customer said"it was marked as picked up in their system and cannot help with refund unless I provide evidence that i didn't pick it up by getting video footage from the local store or neighborbood to prove I didn't pick it up". Not long after, that local store was closed. The store was gone... I cannot connect with the store customer service anymore...Called multiple DSW times and ask to speak with supervisor... NOT helpful at all.
Yeah, dispute via credit card bank provider is the way to go.
They lose myself and my friends as customers. Ultimately, their loss.
Hope DSW management that care for DSW see customers' complains and take actions.
Bought a pair of boots I used 4-6 times and walked less than half a kilometer in before they started breaking down while still brand new. They suggested the damage was intentional and offered a 10% discount even after seeing the pictures. If you want piss poor products and even worse service now you know where to get it.
Answer: According to their website and receipt, yes you can.
Answer: Take pictures on the day it arrives and contact dsw immediately. Any issues contact BBB
Answer: It is an automative system that tries to calculate the hold time based on how many calls have finished vs how many calls are coming in. It is annoying to be on hold for awhile but shoephoria! Center is the only call center in the nation, with a lot more shoe lovers calling in at once than the call representatives that are available
Answer: No, once they are out of stock online and in stores it means the manufacturer completely ran out of supply. There is always a chance it will be restocked, though!
Answer: Saturday and Sunday are not included as business days, and if the order is placed aftrr 4pm ET the first business day begins the next day
Answer: Grat question! It is all part of a contract with thr manufacturer. This is why we are not able to have promotional discounts applied to exluded brands: Nike Keen Converse Brook Birkenstock Keen Sorel and UGG
