I ordered hiking books 2 weeks ago and just got an email today saying they were canceled because they were out of stock. Really 2 weeks later! That is terrible service!
I have ordered twice online. Both times the incorrect shoe was sent. I always receive the correct brand just a different style of shoe. Now both times I have lost out on special promotions because those promotions have always expired once the item is received. The purpose of online shopping is so that you do not have to go into the store. Now once again I have to go back in to return a shoe. They have to have the most incompetent staff to continue to allow this to happen. Why should the customer have to jump through so many hoops. Online they said I can reorder once the item has been received back. The receipt doesnt even show what was even sent out. There is something seriously wrong with this company.
On Nov 19,2020 I called the company to see if I could receive a discount for an online purchase and was given a code, which I entered minutes after getting off the phone, but the code was not valid. I called the company again but was told that they could not honor any discounts, so I decided to purchase the item without the discount. When I went to check out, there were technical difficulties, so I called again, this time being assured that the purchase would be facilitated plus I would get the discount that I was promised. I was transferred to the final agent only to be told that I would not be getting any discount. I felt bounced around like a ball and tired of long hold waits.
I placed an on line order. It took a bit to arrive in the store. There was no communication on when they arrived in the store. If I had not looked up the shipping, I would never had known they had arrived. I picked up the shoes and got billed a MONTH later. They didn't know I had picked up the shoes until I contacted them for the late billing. They were going to send out another pair of shoes. They didn't even really read the first e-mail just a blanket of excuses that didn't pertain to the situation. It was frustrating and I do think they charged me full price even though I used coupons and picked up at the store. I am so unimpressed and this is my second time with having big issues with on line orders and not being able to reach competent customer service person (if you call you get no where so I didn't even try this time). It was all done by E-mail and it was all very sloppy. No communication with the stores or the shopper. It's a shame they used to be very good. I won't go back for more.
I've had good shopping experience. They have great discounts and deliver my orders on time. For now, I made only one order but I think more is coming.
I visited the Monroeville PA store on Saturday 10-17-2020. I purchased two pairs of shoes. Nicole was the young lady that assisted me at the check out counter. Very pleasant and helpful. Had a smile on her face. Willing to help me with my coupons so I could get the best value possible. A GREAT EMPLOYEE OF DSW SHOES. Thank you

Ordered sneakers five days ago. Order says still in progress. They take your money and then have no idea if product is in stock or when it can be delivered. Do not buy here!
Tried to purchase dress heels for a wedding, but all they had was sneakers. The sales person said they were having trouble getting items due to Covid 19, but they must have had over 500 different sneakers?
So I ordered online and then when I went to pick them up at the store, they only had one pair, I has ordered 2, now I am scrambling to find shoes.
Worse customer service ever!
I am APPALLED! I have NEVER in my life received shoes that I ordered online that we're old, damaged, and used. It looks like someone literally used these shoes up until the return policy date of 60 days and then returned them. Then DSW had the AUDACITY of shipping these very clearly used and damaged shoes to me when I paid the full price of new ones. I can not believe this place is still in business. This was my first purchase through them, and I will NOT be making another one. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the other pair of shoes I ordered were fine. However, they were packaged VERY POORLY and I'm shocked they were not also damaged during shipping. I work to hard for my money to go to a company that clearly does not care about quality control.
First time ordering online, when I received the shoes they were the wrong color, I took it in the store for an Exchange and was told I had to pay additional money for taxes. Why am I paying additional money when its DSW error.
Then I didn't learn from the first time and decided to order another pair of shoes since I recieved points, shoes was delivered but wrong size. Now again I have to waste my time driving to fedex to drop off the return and hope I get the right size.

I spent over 45 minutes selecting a shoe and at checkout there was an issue. I contacted customer service and was told the shoe I ordered was out of stock! There was no mention of out of stock when I selected the shoe to purchase! On top of that, the coupon I used was a one time use! I would give them a zero if possble!
I usually get shoes shipped from different places. 1st time with DSW. I prefer shopping in store. Ppl try the shoes on with no stocking, feet unclean, walk around and throw it back in the box. So I was skeptical on ordering sight unseen. I really am not bothered by delays with COVID. I didn't realize there is no signature required when they use FedEX and they leave the box out front. I ordered 4 shoes and 2 came. The other shipment was being transferred to USPS. Their error and my package was basically "lost" for a day. Now it's on a truck and again to be left out front.
I will look for the shoes elsewhere. No shipping ever again.
I'd never place an order with DSW again. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. And no offer of a discount after waiting two weeks for a pair of shoes!?! I'll shop at Shoes.com in the future. DSW doesn't care to keep good customers.
The shoes I received took a very long time because my order was lost (((The quality also leaves a lot to be desired.
You do not get any satisfaction when it comes to Dsw customer service. I was charged $42 for two items. One of the item was cancelled and the cost was changed to $23 instead. However, the $42 was taken from the card. One rep told me that they only took $23 from the card and the next rep stated that the amount will be on my account for future purchase. Which amount is DSW referring to? I do not know because I was told that only $23 was taken from the account. I will not be purchasing anything else from this company so I would love for the difference to be sent to my card. Also, I haven't receive a survey from the company either after the chat as closed.
Have been sent the wrong order twice now. The first time, I received the wrong style, size, and they were filthy and used. Had clearly been worn in the snow. Customer service assured me they would send the correct item immediately. When it arrived, it was once again the incorrect style. When I contacted customer service, they continued to provide the same recommendations. That I return the shoes in store and repurchase them later for the full price. Dirty nd incorrect shoes lead me to believe they are not abiding by The Covid precautions they claim to be on their website.
Points and rewards are fraud, instead of getting the points they are taking it away from you. When i brought shoes for $174 and asked to use some of my rewards they told me my balance is -144 points. Reason: if you are not shoping like every monts or so they take piints from you. So i came to -144 points coz i did not get any shoes since the winter time. I canceled my membership, do t like to be lied to and i newer heared someone is dooing this.
I received a coupon during the Pandemic when the store was closed so I could not use it them. I called customer service and they said they would honor it when the store opened. However, the Manager would not let me do this. So I bought my shoes elsewhere. I tried to contact your customer service, the wait was 120 min. So they would call me back, but never did. Youlost my business.
I bought a pair od shoes on 03/23/20, and returned them by Fedex on 04/01/20, I'm still waiting for my refund. Called many times and they have an answering machine that doesnt work. The worst customer service ever!

Answer: It is an automative system that tries to calculate the hold time based on how many calls have finished vs how many calls are coming in. It is annoying to be on hold for awhile but shoephoria! Center is the only call center in the nation, with a lot more shoe lovers calling in at once than the call representatives that are available
Answer: No, once they are out of stock online and in stores it means the manufacturer completely ran out of supply. There is always a chance it will be restocked, though!
