Not a person that would typically fall pray to a scam but this one got me. Total Scam! This needs to be shut down and am calling BBB and Feds. Un freak-en believable!
Out of a Department of Motor Vehicle Licence Renewal Web Site no less. These thieves will stoop to the lowest possible robbery imaginable. STAY AWAY THIS SITE IS 100% FRAUD!
Everything written below is accurate and I am reporting them to the Feds. This is a no nonsense scam. Everything needed to renew your drivers license in on your state website.
They will have to answer to a higher power one day! Nothing else needed to say.
I just wanted to get my new address on my driver's license and was tricked by this site. It mislead me to think I was doing the right thing. Well, I fell for it and called immediately to cancel the payment. The lady promised me she had 'just cancelled it' and promised a follow-up email to confirm again. No such email appeared... I can't just cancel my credit card, either:-((
I typed the exact address of the California DMV into the Bing browser and these people come up first?!?! Nothing popped up until AFTER I entered cc info indicating this was not the DMV (except, perhaps, in nearly microscopic font). They charged my credit card for god-knows-what. I had to have the bank cancel my card, so that they couldn't charge anything else. The actual charge paid was $2.99. The rep at the bank said that a small charge like that could be an indication that the site was
"testing" my account for future potential charges. I agree with Kallie O. These people need to be reported.
The DMV should shut these people down! It's misleading and a fraud! They enroll you into a driver's workbook/rewards that total B. S. They need to be reported to the BBB. Hopefully they are not scamming the elderly with their misleading website.
Never thought I would fall for this, but I did. When you use the short cut to renew drivers license you dont get the 3rd party warning. So, entered credit card info, there is no review purchase letting you know you are purchasing a download of info that is easily obtained on the internet. Have tried several times to get in touch with these scammers and nothing... of course.
I was directed to this site in the process of attempting to renew my drivers' license online! This is a very slick scam! They lead you to believe you are renewing your license, next step payment information. Then... after your payment has processed you are informed you have purchased some kind of drivers' manual. My credit card was charged for the following bogus charges; Drivers Services@ 2.99, Drivers License Services@ 3.99. Drivers' Services@ 19.99 and finally Drivers License@ 19.99! When my credit card invoice arrived I was able to dispute the charges and they were removed. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
This site came up and thought it was something I had to fill out for my drivers license. Found out that it was not affiliated with getting my drivers license. Big Scam! They should be shut down. $3.99 charge not a lot, but what they are doing is wrong!
I'd give less than a one star rating to this scam if I could. It's a slick scam, and if you are in a hurry as I was, you will fall for it, too. Stay away. These people are total crooks.
I just went on line to renew my license and in the process somehow the site I was on redirected me to this site. I completed some of the info and then I was told I just purchased a "drivers manual"- I knew then I had been scammed. I am so infuriated! I called my bank immediately and let them know! Very dishonest, and misleading! I don't know how people like this live with themselves doing this. So wrong! All I can say if God is watching!
I had to pay a 2.99 processing fee for this bogus site. Please be careful trying to renew your license. SMH
In a hurry and distracted, I fell for this site thinking it was the DMV. After completing all the contact and billing info you are informed that you just purchased a booklet on how to get a new drivers license. I will try to get the charges reversed.
We should all file complaints with the BBB and with our local police. Maybe if enough people report these scumbags their site will be taken off the internet. Does anyone know of any other agencies that might take action against these crooks? I have never seen such blatant fraud.

I typed in cyberdriveillinois and their website was the first to appear so I thought I was in illinois website. Wasn't until they sent me a receipt and I looked at my credit card which charged me $2.99 plus $19.99. This is a scam site, I gave my credit card number and now must start over with a new credit card, again. I have notified my credit card company and they are doing a scam report and search. It looks so real, be careful, go to your local DMV site for renewals, they will help you with online renewal, easy, safe, courteous.
