I ordered a custom sized dress for my maid of honour and it arrived quickly however not the right sizing - 2 inches too small on the waist and 2 inches too small on the bust - the dress doesn't fit! The main feature was a gorgeous rose on the shoulder - the dress I got had this sad looking 'rose' that was half the size and not even CLOSE to the photo.(i'm attaching photos below) When I emailed the company with photos showing the differences and incorrect measurements their responses were. "As all our dresses are made manually, we can not guarantee that the dress is consistent with the picture." and "As all of our dresses are hand-sewn, the finished gowns may vary by approximately one inch in either direction of the specified measurements. To ensure your dress will fit you perfectly, our tailoring team will leave extra fabric in the seams for alteration." - admitting that it did not match the photo and was not the correct size (by definitely more than just one inch) and FYI there was no 'extra fabric' in the seams. They refused to give a refund as its their policy not to on custom gowns, meanwhile their regular sizing chart is so way off normal sizing you are pretty much forced to order a custom made dress. There are many other companies with hassle free return policies - STAY AWAY from this one!

Dressafford is honestly the most terrible business in the world and I am going to be reporting them to the consumer protection authorities with my main aim of having them shut down. They are operating under the NZ jurisdiction however do not comply with the CGA. They are basically advertising beautiful dresses and sending you cheap, horrible knock offs of the dress. They don't adhere to their refund, quality or exchange policy. If you want to return it, their customer service team have to reply to you and agree before they will give you any address or contact number. They can't speak English at all and eventually start ignoring you. They say so so sorry but we can't do anything further. Please ensure you leave a review if you experience the same. What I can say is, all the positive reviews are published by the dressafford team as I did some digging and their email addresses and number of reviews lead to this. The English grammar and tone is exactly the same on all the reviews. All I can say is, stay away! My dress was so ugly I'd never wear it.

You are always sceptical to buying online like this... you never know what you are going to get, especailly after reading negative reviews of this shop from China.
First of all dressafford is wonderful to have contact with. Agent Jennifer answers quickly and is very very nice.
The dress was over the top good. Good quality, good fabric, and good sewing work! The lace is soooooo beautiful!
Do not be afraid to order anything from dressafford! You will not be disappointed!

I ordered a dress for my wedding in June. I love the dress, but the color is completely off. I ordered the dress in white, but the color is not white. The color is more of an off white/Ivory. The dress pictured was more white than the dress I received.

When I contacted customer service I was told that I could return the dress, but I would have to pay a 20% return fee and shipping. I asked the agent if these fees could be waived as this is an error on their end. I was told no and that a returned dress is useless to them. I asked why I would have to pay to return a product that was incorrectly described or shipped and the agent basically said to bad and wouldn't escalate this issue to a supervisor. I was also told that each manufactures have a different understand of color and the dress I received was white in color.

Cute dress, but terrible company and customer service. Stay away from this company if you are planning on ordering a dress for your special day. Dresses maybe be cheap on this site, but it may cost you more in the long run or cause undue stress.

Buying from this company is a crap shoot. It appears that about one out of every three customers get what they ordered and are some what satisfied; the rest of us are left scrambling to find something to wear to our big event.
When the dress finally arrived, it looked nothing like the dress online. Using their measurements, I ordered the dress a bit too large - it was so small I could not zip it up. Also, the fit was just strange,
I admit I did not read the fine print in their return policy if I had I never would have ordered. They only refund 80% of the price, you have to pay not only the return postage but you must also reimburse them for the "free" dress delivery. My advice is don't deal with this company unless you enjoy a good game of chane.

The Pros
- fairly good quality compared with the price
- shipping was quick, deliverd in 4 days after dispatched.
- nice material/good drape
- very flowy and pretty

The Cons
- not as long as pictured so it doesn't cover my feet.

- arrived with no train, I thought there is a train.
- more white than ivory
- they do not work on weekends.

I like it a lot but I don't love it like I hoped I would. Will be wearing it on my wedding day despite my complaints.

I received my dress and it looks nothing like the dress in the picture that they advertise. Wrong colors, cheap material, bulky and poorly made. This dress looks like a $20 flower girl dress from Fashion Bug. If they are not capable of making the quality dress that they are advertising for you to purchase then they need to state that on the website or before you make your purchase. They are in fact providing false advertisement. For this reason alone I am in the full right for a full refund on the receipt of my return of this dress. They clearly do not care about customer satisfaction either. For these reasons I do believe that this website is a scam and everybody needs to be aware before choosing to place an order with Dressafford.

I messaged Dressafford last minute to try to order this. The team accommodated my urgency without question. I paid for rush and the package arrived in 14 days just in time for me to pack it up with the rest of the stuff for my wedding. I presented the robe to my bride (now wife :) ) and she was enamoured by it. It fit her perfectly and she wore it right up until she put her dress on. Since she has continued to wear it because she loves the way it fits and feels! She is beautiful and this robe compliments her beauty perfectly. Many thanks...

I gave one star only because Dressafford actually delivered a dress. It was a custom order with my exact measurements ( I even lost weight by the time it arrived) and the dress they sent was 4-5" too small in the bodice. I had a friend take pictures of me in the dress showing the back zipper was 5" apart across the back and one of me with a tape measure around my bust/back and then a picture with a tape measure across the bust of the dress. All showed it was not the correct size. Dressafford would not acknowledge their mistake and finally said I had to get a professional tailor to measure the dress. I am not going to pay more money to prove what my pictures already illustrated. Dressafford does not want to refund the cost of this dress no matter what I do. I caution anyone who is ordering from this company that you are making a one-way purchase. The cost is cheap because the material is cheap and it's 'buyer beware' when you deal with them.

I placed my order February 20, and recieved the dress today.
I did custom measurements.
I am so happy with the dress. Fits nice and the quality is amazing. It literally looks like an expensive dress from a boutique. Not a $203.00 usd online dress.
Josh was the BEST customer service representative. I dealt with a few but he was the best.
When ordering the dress I asked for a peticoat to be added as the dress was an A line, but I wanted a ball gown.
I asked for a corset back instead of zip.
I asked for 2 inches be added to the sleeve.
Everything met and surpassed expectations.
Bead work is beautiful. Lace work is beautiful.
