I waited home to collect a delivery. I was sat at the front of the house, I saw the Van pull up. I waited for someone to knock on the door so I could open and collect my delivery. Within 15 seconds, the van drove off and I received a text message saying that no-one was home and it will be delivered to my local depot the following day.
What a waste of my time! Should have just gone to work. Absolutely useless.
Was in all day for a delivery from Dpd for the driver to take a picture of my door and to then NOT RING MY BELL. So no delivery even though I was here waiting for it. All I got as others have said is sorry we missed you and we will be back on Tuesday as yes its the bank holiday.
Customer service rubbish. Wouldn't do anything as the picture was taken. Yeah at a distance mind you from the seat of his van. Delivery guy was Ranjeet from Southall depot. Customer service useless Do they not realise that the drivers are well aware they need some proof of attempting delivery. Haha. This deliberately done as I had spoken to Dpd in the morning and had my time changed so Ranjeet deliberately didn't deliver as a punishment. Joke joke joke.
Well Ranjeet your rubbish and don't ever come to my home again to deliver. Disgusting Service. Southall depo you need to speak with your driver Ranjeet as this is absolutely unacceptable.
The parcel disappeared in their system three weeks ago and they have repeatedly refused to authorise a refund even for the delivery charge let alone compensation for the lost item on the. Basis that they claim that the parcel is not "lost", it simply "cannot be found" Ludicrous, disingenuous and risible service.
Really bad and lazy service all around
Wouldn't even give them one star would give negatives if possible. Used this company 5 times (as forced to as a delivery option) and 4 of those 4 times was an absolute joke and disaster, not only did I receive lazy service (the parcel not even been attempted to be delivered or collected, instead a generic picture of my street) but i got nothing but a crappy bot repeating the same message when i tried to contact support. I'm not sorry, when three people (and a dog who loves to bark at the post man) all say no one has knocked or called at the house three times in a row, you just aren't even trying to deliver and pick up the parcels at this point. Pathetic. The only time I've ever got something on time was due to me literally getting it re ordered and standing at the window to make sure he came and I saw him coming with it.
Edit: After contacting the company whom is to receive the parcel who organised the dpd collection (dpd customer services WOULDNT answer, shocking!) they organised another collection only for the exact same thing to happen. Me and another member of my family where painting in the hallway without any music just light chit chat, and the hallway is the same room connected to the front door, not once did we see someone come up to the front door never mind knock on it to collect the parcel, this is not an isolated incident. This single driver has done this three times, every time I have ordered from this company, said company will remain nameless as they have good customer service and I was forced to use them instead of dpds terrible non existent customer service.
Not good careless driver they dropped my box damaged not good enough with fragile box! No good they should take care of every box for all customers this is your job so try to take care of box with care is expensive machines inside!
Here to write YET another bad review for DPD, just a month after I had left another review and was assured of proper service going forward. The driver chooses to pretend we are not at home, and either deliberately delivers the parcel to the wrong house or delivers it to a collection point (miles away from our location!). When I try to complain about it in the chat function in the app, either I get robots, or the customer service people are rude and end the chat or hang up. We used to prefer DPD above all other delivery services in the past — in the last few months, this has definitely changed. Absolutely appalling service, and giving Hermes serious competition in whose service can be worse.

Dpd lied yet again, they was meant to deliver a iPad today from a well known company. Waited all day until 2pm and status changed to they tried to deliver etc. They went yet again to wrong area but same road name. I called the company who called them and they said they spoke to driver who would try again, so wait for them. I explained the correct area etc. Came to around 4pm and do delivery so looked up local Chelmsford number and called. I was told they contacted driver and gave my number to call if needed directions and they said estimated time was 6pm. Got to 7pm and no delivery, so I called again and was told he had one more delivery to do and would be on way. Time is now 11pm and no delivery. I get this most times and am fed up with being lied to. The only service I like is Royal Mail as they know the area. This happens too many times now and have had enough. Be Warned. Do Not Use.
Waited in for a parcel only to receive a message saying delivery was attempted when it clearly wasn't. They made no attempt to ring the right buzzer for my flat and sent a photo of a door which was apparently proof they had tried to deliver and the picture of the door wasn't even my front door! Complained to the company just to be fobbed off with excuses. This company cares nothing for its customers. I have used them twice and had problems both times. Avoid at all costs!
Worst drivers ever. Personally would NEVER use but unfortunately merchants do. There were 3 of us at home today, in 3 separate rooms near the front door. This was an important package. Suddenly I get a text saying the driver missed us. TOTAL garbage as there was NO knock ever. Driver Mark in Ely is a lazy worthless excuse of a human... cannot stand liars! Of course DPD will not attempt to redeliver today. Also, the "customer support" staff are not helpful and could careless about the customer!
Your driver called "HAPPI" is an absolute crap person as my package had 3 fragile stickers on and I let him know that it has fragile contents in, he just took it out of my arms and THROWS, yes, THROWS the whole box in his van, like what the hell? ARE YOU FOR REAL HAPPI? I told him off and he just drove off. He never said "hello" to me (I said hello, he never replied), he never did anything, just basically looked at me and threw my package in the van. No "thank you", no "you're welcome" or anything like that. I understand he doesn't celebrate Christmas and all that but my package is not a toy or something he can just mess with.

I booked a parcel with drop off but QR code was not generated so it will not be accepted by the drop off point. There is no number for DPD that I can call. I had 2 parcels that were supposed to be picked up on Tuesday, no one showed up or gave me a call; it was re-booked for today (by P2G) - no one showed up again. I cancelled that order through P2G and ordered directly through DPD website. Code was generated for one parcel but not for the second one. Now I have NO OPTION to switch to printing the label at home or to regenerate the QR code. None of the numbers for your customer service is working, I've been trying to get through since yesterday. The online chat is not working. Nothing is working - just the payment system to send money to DPD for the service that I failed to receive 3 times now!
THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE.
I PMd you the reference number. Once this issue with the QR code is sorted, I would like to make a formal complaint - please provide me with the details on how I can do this. This is unacceptable and there is no excuse to failing the customer 3 times with the same parcel!
Why can't all delivery company's text you as to delivery times, this is so convenient. Very impressed with this company
Following is my feedback to recent online supplier:-
"I suggest you steer customers away from DPD. The worst of them is not the failures which can happen to anyone, but THE COMPLETE BLOCKING OF ANY ABILITY FOR THE AFFECTED CUSTOMER TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THEM TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. I personally will not again purchase anything which is to be delivered by DPD."
This followed a three-day delay only resolved by the supplier paying extra to DPD to "upgrade" the delivery. I wasted a morning waiting in for delivery only to receive a totally dishonest message that delivery had been refused becasue "the item was no longer required"!
They lost my package, and they told me that they came to the address but no one was there, what a big lie
If you are business seller do not use them. Many undelivered parcels while tracking number shows they've been delivered. It takes couple days for customer service to reply to your e-mails and usually they cannot resolve your problem. They ignore your questions or do not reply at all.
