Go to any club and ask about Doublelist and you hear two reviews: young people say it's awesome and ones older than 45 say they always get flagged and eventually banned. I posted numerous very safe ads that inferred what I wanted or didn't even mention what we'd do. All of them eventually got flagged. Successful ones would run and I would repost five or six times but then they would end up flagged. What changed by then? Why does it go into review, then post and then get flagged? They claim less than 1% get flagged and fewer than 1% get banned. It's either complete bull or I was the only one getting flagged and I know the 1% who are banned. But, if you claim to be younger than 30, you can post flagrant pictures, add your phone number, seek "generous" men, show bias against other races, directly list banned sexual activities and never get flagged.
Supposed to be the replacement for Craigslist personals. It FAILS big time at that mission. Repeatedly, moderators ban my posts with no explanation. I have generally (with a few exceptions) followed the TOS pretty carefully, but they have way too much discretion, so you get banned for something you don't even know what it is. I posted a post recently that mentioned "daddy," which is just a common term for someone older or for someone in a more dominant role. I know the TOS says nothing to do with "incest" or fantasies about incest. Okay, fine, but saying "daddy" isn't an incest fantasy. It's just a common parlance for the giver in the meetup or relationship. That's the only thing that I can think of that kept the post from being approved. It was in review for like an hour, so I pulled it down myself and posted another very g rated one that didn't have any inappropriate picture or anything. Today I try to login, and it says "your account is on hold," and at the top it says "suspended." What a lame $#*! site. They are nothing like Craigslist was. Very few replies and they have been generally low quality anyway, but I was willing to give it a try. Not if they're going to use moderators who have no idea what they're doing and ban you arbitrarily for nothing, when many things are posted that clearly violate TOS. ADIOS, DOUBLELIST, or should I say, Craigslist Wannabe.
Due to certain issues, this site makes it incredibly difficult to actually post an ad and allow you to get across what you are after. It's understandable that certain words and activities are banned from use. And typically these cover illegal activities. But it, unfortunately, extends to other harmless words of which there is a list that we as consumers are not privy to.
You're required to have a phone number to sign up and once you've been banned from the site, your number is blacklisted. You're essentially left with forgetting about the site or acquire a new number. (In the event your number is acquired by someone else who attempts to sign up will be very disappointed). You're not told why and there is no customer support to help. They couldn't give a $#*!.
The site is litter with fakes and people wanting money. Honestly not worth it if they pull $#*! like this.
After I post my responses are coming with wrong mail address. What is the problem? How should I post?
Clearly a former Craigslist employee trying to carry on the same garbage, straight people better watch what they say and all of their posts are reviewed before they go live then they are still banned for alleged tos violations while bots, drug addicts, homosexuals and prostitutes post whatever they want even actually violating the tos particularly posting phone numbers or kik contact information, offering or wanting drugs, posting nudes, posting penis pics and pics of their $#*! in the air etc. and nothing is done about it in spite of it being reported.
These people care nothing about the work you not into to your account, they will ban you with no notice and give you no reason for it. Don't bother trying to contact them and asking about it, they will blatantly ignore you. Find a better alternative, don't waste your time
Today I created three posts each one in strict compliance with the guidelines and every o e got flagged before they were posted 99 percent of the other posts were very much against the guidelines. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOUBLELIST!
I've bern punished suspended censored for trying to write rather tame ADULT ads! The same ads run all the time. The few answered ads were usually guys in place of women or couples
Painless easy sign up. Just follow the instructions is set forward so easy, took about 5 minutes.
It will allow this: +++gloryhol+++open for hung white studs 18-38(mesa (tempe/chandler border) (dobson-baseline)
But not this: gloryhol 4 str8 latinos
I've posted ads-rarely get a response. I've purposely picked ads and answersed them presenting myself as the perfect match to their ad. Have never gotten a response to those. Also, if you take the time to check out other cities you'll find a lot of ads that are mysteriously the same. My guess is they're fake ads posted by Doublelist to make their content seem bigger. My final complaint is that if you don't live near a major city then posting is useless. They need to add more places and try a lot harder. Conclusion: Give it a try if you want but don't expect anything.
So far so good I like this website and everyone on it, I would love to have more time to browse.
Ive been using this website for nearly 3 yeard now. A few weeks ago i try to make a post and it asks me to verify my phone number, i enter the code from my phone and it tells me that my phone number is locked anf i need to contact customer service. So i try doing so and get no response. I ask again and get no response. I do this about 3 more times over the course of a week and fibally decide to try to verify with my brothers phone number. After verifying and entering the code i get "too many attempts, contact customer service"! So i try contacting customer service probably 20 more times over the course of a week, even going so far as to create new email accounts out of desperation wondering if they blocked my accounts main email. Finally i get a response on one of the throwaway emails asking for the number associated with my account ( the phone number associated with my account that ive never added before, mind you) so i tell them i never had to verify with phone number before and there shouldnt be one associated but I gave them my phone number thatborignally had problems anyway, i also asked why they have been ugboring me so blatantly and adamantly. As you could guess, i got no response back yet. Its been about a week since then, ive been cobsistently trying to get in contact with them again with other emails hoping to get another response and have gotten nothing.
I am now simply asking them whether or not i should just give up on my account, and can't even get a reply to that. I've used this account for a long time and want to do everything I can to save it but if I could just know its done for then at least I forget it about.
This is easily one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Its almost surreal
The idea is good, and the price (free) is right. However, it's perhaps poorly executed. The biggest issue: writing a sincere, rule-abiding post and having it get flagged within hours. This would be less of an issue if there were a review process. However, a post getting flagged (with no reason given) results in automatic removal; no review process. So, because the users are petty (well, it is the internet), the site is basically useless.
This site sucks. I have posted several times over the last year or so.
I rarely get a response and when I do it's one email and gone. A complete waste.
Ads flagged before even starting, and for NO REASON. I try to male New one everyday, won't go live. I put nice language and everything but get nowhere.
Like so many others have stated, double list is a scam. It's just a data mining front. I've tried posting a personal ad from multiple different IP addresses with multiple different email addresses and different pictures different bodies to the text. And in the dozen attempt I've made, not a single one has been posted - they have all been rejected. Many of the post that you do see are months old and are recycled over and over and over again. I've tried two dozen times to contact people that supposedly had posted. Never once have received a reply. It's quite plain and simple - they're committing fraud and they're doing it on a massive scale. At this rate they will be looking at a class action lawsuit.
I mean everyone was talking about this but unfortunately. I got flagged in 2 seconds. I wanted to see if someone wanted a curvy thick juicy bbw to spoil and i mean SPOILED! Buy gifts, pay bills give me money when I asked. But of course this was a no go for me.
*******@yahoo.com is the email if anyone know any other websites please let me know
Answer: It's on hold forever. Just forget about it. There is no need trying to contact customer service. There are better sites like http://joy4love.com If you are looking for hot girls - works like charm. DoubleList has always been worthless anyway. I only met just a bunch of scammers there.
Answer: Now that doublelist.com is forcing payments there will be more free sites popping up soon!
Answer: It's now 100% official, when you asked this question it was in a test phase & someone made an error of letting it go live. As of this reply you must pay a monthly fee
