Terrible delivery experience. Ordered 36 inch white tulip table cost $434 plus $145 delivery charge. Requested specfic delivery week in order to receive. Company unable to be specfic on delivery date. Result we could not be there to take delivery and table was redelivered back to dot and Bo ware house in nj. We ended up being charged for original delivery plus redilvered, total out of pocket cost of $295 and no table! We were informed that to get table we would need to pay 3 rd delivery fee! At this point we cancelled and demanded our money back.
I wish there were minus stars as I would give them several. I ordered a table in June and have still not received it. They pretend they will research it and call me back, but never do. Don't order from this company! They have no idea what they are doing.
This company is a joke. I have placed 2 orders with them. The first order, I was told 2 weeks after the order that oops, we actually are sold out of that item. But they gave me a $10 credit plus a full refund. Redeemed... for now. 2nd order, placed in August, ordered in part with the credit... I get notice that the stock of my order was running low, which was the same situation as the first, so I reached out proactively and what do you know - while I was told they could get it, it was back ordered until the first week of September. Back and forth and it's now October 16th... and I don't have the order nor a shipping confirmation. This company has no clue how to run a business and should shut down.
I had an extraordinary experience with dot and bo ordering a side table for my new house. I found the perfect table but it was out of stock. I got an email from their service team telling me they'd try and find one and shortly after they did! It arrived in 4 weeks - a little long to wait but they told me 6 weeks so i was certainly pleased. The table is in and i love it. I also check back from time to time and they have many more things i'd buy!
Terrible company. The item I ordered was available at several sites, but Dot & Bo was about $1 cheaper. So I gave them a try. It's been 5 weeks and my order still has not shipped! I have emailed them twice and called them twice. The reply is always, "We are experiencing higher than normal call volumes." I still have not heard back from them. Well, with this service, the company can, will, and should go out of business.

I found this site on the google shop tab because I was looking for a Christmas present for my best friend. This site had the perfect gift and I was so excited for it to come in. When I placed my order, it said it would take a month for the item to come in. A month isn't too bad. So I waited patiently, and soon a month had come and gone. So I emailed them, took them 4 days to respond back, saying it was going to be ANOTHER 4-6 weeks because it hadn't even shipped! They said they were backordered on the item I purchased but a month is too much! And an update on my order to say that it was backordered would have been nice. I am incredibly angry about this! Never shopping on this site again. And I urge anyone else to do the same.
If it weren't for their over the top marketing initiative, I'd assume this was a scam! Instead it's just a horrible business. They are very clearly not capable of handling the large amounts of business it's marketing is bringing to their site. I ordered a simple set of 4 whimsical hooks that said would take a month to arrive. 5 weeks later, I sent an email to customer service and received a response saying that they were "a bit backed up" with the hooks I ordered. I was also asked to "forgive this unusual circumstance." I replied back that I felt that a set of hooks should not take longer than a month to deliver and I'd really like it fixed. I was told again that is was an "unusual circumstance" and that it would take another month for them to come in and asked how I would like to proceed. After again, replying that I wanted these for a special occasion and I need them sooner than 2 months from the original order date. He replied back that he was once again sorry for the "unusual circumstance" and how would I like to proceed with my order. Basically, it seems that Dot & Bo are not able to handle the volume of purchases and are trying to get orders cancelled. I refused to cancel my order and told him yet again to proceed with my order and to have it sent to me asap. I received, "Great! I’m glad to hear it. I will keep your order in process." Oh, and the best part is that I was already charged for these, even though the order has yet to ship. TERRIBLE BUSINESS, STAY AWAY.
I ordered to large pieces of furniture, one arrived in about 5 weeks, the other 8 weeks, both said 3-4 weeks.
Both boxes arrived in awful condition, ripped, partially opened and looked like they had been dragged here.
Both pieces of furniture were of the rustic style so a few minor dings or scratches were ok, gave them more character. If I had ordered more formal or modern I might have been a whole lot unhappier with the condition.
I did not contact Dot & Bo to ask for replacements or to say how poorly packed the furniture was. I just didn't want to deal with it and wait for new ones to come.
The first, The Industrial Roll shelf, went together easily and no broken or missing parts. A nice piece and I am ok with it.
The second piece, the Rolling Rustic Bookshelf, made from iron, tin and wood, had some issues. It was bent and I had to really work at forcing the pieces together. I was very pleased all the small screws were present as the box had several open areas and they could have easily fallen out. Biggest issue was 2 feet fell off as I was screwing in the casters. They were very poorly spot welded. I plan on putting them back on with epoxy and hopefully they will hold.
Overall I like the look of the furniture but I feel they could have done a better job on construction and how easily it is put together. I am pretty handy so no real issues but if you are not these would be a bit of a challenge
Due to the long wait, and mostly due to the poor boxing, I am not sure I would order again.
HORRIBLE! I'll never order from them again. I ordered a phone case and after a month of no shipping notification email or delivery, I contacted them. The representative emailed me back and asked if I wanted to cancel the order to which I replied that I did. Next thing I get an email saying the item had shipped and the it wasn't eligible for a return or cancellation. Totally shady! I'll never order anything from them again!
I'm enjoying my new lounge chair from Dot & Bo. The chair arrived quickly (for furniture) and is really brightening up my space. I did not need to contact customer service so no comments on that.
Shipping is tooooo slow, ordered salt abd pepper shakers the first of Sept. Computer says it shipped ship October 1. I can't believe a month for 2 little shakers... nuts
Avoid like the plague! Shipping is horrible... I've waited for something now for almost TWO MONTHS. Promises of shipping, and then NOTHING. They buy from other retailers and jack up the price astronomically, too. Go to the BBB - complaints galore. Shady, shady operation.

I'd just like to say I have NEVER had such a bad experience with an online order. I ordered a book about bacon for my best friend. I ordered the book in July. It's now September 18th and I still haven't received the book. Customer service gave me a boo-hoo email reply that they're overwhelmed with all of their orders etc. I should have done a small amount of research. Every review website says they suck and you either don't get your stuff or you get it a few months later. AVOID!
I have been so frustrated with them. I ordered 2 bar stools in May they were to arrive in early July and after a load of phone calls, emails and dropped promises they came a week or 10 days ago (it's mid September now!). They came, lightly damaged and with hardware missing. Now I'm still trying to calling for the hardware to show up. No news as yet. So i can't even assemble the thing. I hope when the hardware shows up - it will all work and fit.
They won't give me a discount or even be courteous. And ask me not to be upset about this. And forget about paying for return shipping.
I thought I'd write a yelp review - but, no yelp page. It's hard to get them... so annoying. Worst of all - after all of this - the quality is not great. SAD.
Been waiting six weeks, and still order is not complete. Today shipment 4 arrived... broken shells and dead air plants. Be interesting to see how long it takes to get a response from customer service, looking at these other reviews. The website says the fastest way to contact them is via phone, and the phone message says the fastest way is via email... I'm starting to think this is two people in a garage placing online orders from other sites.

Bought a lamp that I received very quickly but it was shattered on arrival. I immediately emailed with photos- still NO REPLY. Called & left messages, NO REPLY. If you are overwhelmed with orders & growing quickly- hire someone! Wish I had read reviews before placing an order...

LOOK AT THESE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU ORDER ANYTHING
I tried to buy a day bed from these people. It was a disaster. The delivery date came and went. No one answered their phones. No one responded to e-mail. Days and days passed, and not a single person at Dot&Bo would respond. Finally, after endless calls and emails someone answered the phone. He was actually helpful, explaining that the company was overwhelmed with orders and couldn't handle them all, and he got my money refunded. I then ordered the same day bed online with another company, who delivered it, for $100 less, 5 days later.
Dot&Bo has nice things. But you'll never know, because they'll never send them to you.
What's with having to sign in just to look at their products? Sorry, won't do business with any company that sets that type of requirement to just browse. Too bad because some of the advertised products looked interesting.
I found my DREAM sofa on dot and bo after searching for months. When I finally made the decision to pull the trigger, the sale had closed and the couch was no longer available. I emailed them immediately and one of their service people got back to me letting me know she'd do everything possible to get the couch back for me, and a couple of days later she did - the couch arrived and it's totally perfect. I'm in love.
I liked what I saw on the website. Decided to order a small item first from this company before ordering a larger more expensive item. Glad I did it that way. I waited a month for a print I ordered as a gift for a friend. After three weeks I contacted them about my order status. They basically blamed the delay on the fact that their business was growing so fast they could not keep up with demand. After the fourth week I cancelled the order. I love internet shopping but hate unreliable drop shippers. I have had better luck with Ebay than many companies like Dot & Bo.
Answer: Good luck with that - terrible customer service. I do not recommend this company because of the service and the very poor quality of products.
