I'm getting calls up to 10 times a day and was told it's spoofing and the Government can't do anything about it!

Hello my name is Jameka Smith I want ever insurance company to put on do not call lists please stop 🛑 calling me and stop sending me quotes
At first you think...Great, lets put our phone numbers on this "Do Not Call Registery". Thinking that this will stop all these unwanted scamming bullying phone calls. Well, don't bother as it definately does NOT work. Just another way for the POWERS AT BE to collect millions of phone numbers & keep them in their trusty filling cabinets. With technology today, it would be possible between TELSTRA & the POWERS AT BE to stop these pieces of garbage phoning everybody to take their hard earned monies. If there is somebody with the knowledge & power reading this review, please, please do something to curb this insanity & keep Australia (the lucky country) safe again, how it used to be.
My little piece of advice to the general public is: do not answer your phone if you are not familiar with the number that is shown on your screen. Let it go to message bank or phone it back. If it is a scam call or similar, block the number.
I have my phone number on the "do not call list", I get at least 12 robo calls, solicitation calls, etc. This is totally useless!

I report some days as many as 2 dozen spam calls from TN, been doing this 4 a couple YEARS! I do block.
Remove any budgeting to FTC for this Do Not Call List scam. It simply does NOT work. What a waste of tax payers monies!
If anyone is getting paid for their work on this program, they should be fired because they're stealing the money
The DNC registry is a joke. It doesn't work and is a waste of taxpayer money. The biggest offenders are the politicians. They are allowed to harass you and can get by with it. I guess that's because this registry is run by them. Most phones have a Do Not Disturb function. Use it. Its much more reliable.
Have been on the do not call registry for years. I get up to 50 unwanted calls a week on my land line. When I visit donotcall.gov to check if I'm still registered (I am) I seem to get even more unwanted calls. I feel this program is a waste of my taxpayer dollars
The government do not registry is a damn joke, just like the government itself. Since I registered with do not call I've received more damn calls than I did before I registered. Just another waste of tax payers money.
