Lack of care for customers they only care about the money and they don't care if they inconvenience you then again what do you expect from the dollar tree I'm just one customer

Worst Dollar Tree

I was visiting family in Mechanicsville Virginia this past week. My grandson needed something from there so I took him. Upon entering the store I was totally shocked at the disarray of the store. There were items in each isle all over the floors. It was a mess. Never have I seen a dollar tree in that shape.
When I checked out the cashier was even worse. The lady ahead of me was give cash back all in ones because the cashier didn't have an other bills to give her. This didn't make the customer happy. Cashier told her if she could give her a couple of fives and the ones back she would give her a twenty. While the lady looked through her purse the cashier started checking me out. I only had twenty's. So I gave her one to pay for my items. The cashier then took my twenty gave it to the lady that was in front of me and took her ones and the two fives in exchange. At that point the cashier still can't give me any change and because she was doing too many things at once I was worried she'd forget giving my twenty away.
She called for change then and I told her I still needed my change. She got huffy and said
I told you I'd give you your change when I got more.
I didn't appreciate her attitude at all.
Not sure who the manager of that store is but someone needs to observe the mess and condition of that store.

My rating is so low I can't give a star,

I visited the Dollar Tree Store # 572 9741 FM 1960 Bypass Humble Tx, ******* on Monday Labor Day 09/05/2022@ 10:59 am. That was the worse day of my like, I never been so DISRESPECTED all the days of my life. The sales associate Antoinette black female colored hair was so so so DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, INCONSIDERATE, THOUGHTLESS, I can go on and on. I gathered my items and went to check out@ her lane. I placed my items on belt in basket. She immediately stated You have to get your own items out of the basket. I paused and looked around. Keep in mind there is a line full of people, i asked her her when did customers have to start that. She exploded with all kinds of Profanity words moving her hands likes like she wanted to fight. I ask if the Manager was here and she went off again, yes he is here and that do not change F thing, I don't work for you B you can get your on stuff out of the basket. Don't be asking me no D questions. I was so embarrassed and stocked. The manager Greg walk up to me and said how can i help you. I was trying to talk to home and Antoinette was still using bad words, everyone looking, I asked him was that in Code of conduct and Dolloar Tree Policy were Associates talk like that. Greg the Manager said to me. Mama can you just let her ring you up. Antoinette shouted out im not ringing that B up you ring her up, and he did just that with no words no exchange no nothing not even to tell her to stop ringing and go to the back and take a breake. He allowed her to be disrespectful not only to me but the other customer and the staff his self. I only bought the merchandise so that i could get the receipt to reach out. I ask him for Corporate number she stated call corporate I don't give a F and tell them my name B. This was Mess and I will not let it go until someone from Corporate contact me.

I shop at Dollar Tree often, so I thought I would have no trouble returning dog biscuits that were stale. The clerk said she could accept merchandise that had been opened. How would we know they were bad if we had not opened them for use? She reluctantly gave me credit. I purchased one item equal to the credit I received and left. I proceeded to go to family dollar where I was able to purchase all the fresh QUALITY food items my pet requires. The clerk was rude and acted like she was doing me a favor for giving me credit for unacceptable pet food. I will never shop at Dollar Tree again. No stars.

Rude customers
September 1, 2022

I have been a witness of how rude some of the customer are the the cashiers at the dollar tree. I witnessed one yesterday I felt bad for the person behind the counter. Some people don't know how to be nice and it was the customers mistake not the person behind the cashier. These people don't get paid enough to take that type of abuse. I'm a local that always shop at the store in Hudson/Berlin line.

The store is nice & clean but first of all there is always just 1 cashier with a long line …also the manager over there has a very bad attitude & zero percent customer service & respect for the customers;((((

Wow! Just Wow!

Dollar General in Napoleon MI. I have been treated rudely for the last time from employees at this location. If you hate your job so much that you take it out on the customers then please, get a new job. I don't know who Mark is however he needs to check his employees. Maybe a quick lesson in customer service. Thank you for your time and consideration.

No matter the time in the afternoon that I go to the Dollar Tree on James Island, SC, it is NEVER open. I have gone different days and different times, and every single time, there's a hand written part sign on the door saying closed.

Online Shopping

I was so happy to find out I could order online from the Dollar Tree. I placed my first order and received an email saying my order was ready to be picked up at the store. I went to pick it up 3 days after I received my email confirmation, only to find out my order was not there. I called the number provided for the website and they said they were going to call the store to confirm the merchandize is not in. After they confirm the store does not have the merchandize, they will refund my money and I have to place the order again. I don't understand why they would send me an email stating the order arrived when it didn't. I was going to use these items for a party, now I am behind schedule because if I order them again, I have to wait another month, and there is no guarantee that the items will be shipped. Very frustrating!

Return Policy

I frequently shop at the Dollar Tree. I have never returned anything, but today when i tried to return some items I found out that I couldn't return the items unless i found something in the store to replace the the ones i had purchased earlier in the day. They wouldn't even give me store credit so i could return and use the money for another purchase in the future. I asked where the policy was posted and they said it is on your receipt. I had my receipt and it was on it. I told the clerk that I like the Dollar Tree stores, but I probably won't be returning. Strangest return policy I have ever heard of!

The Dollar Tree in small town Centralia, MO was the nicest one I have ever shopped in. It was always well stocked and very clean an neat. There were always shoppers in there. They just moved to another location in town and merged with Dollar Store. It seems 90% of items are Dollar Store. Even items carried by Dollar Tree are at Dollar Store prices. I will not be shopping there.

Prices and returns

Dollar tree not only raised their prices, but also reduced the sizes of their packages. Also, don't try to make a return, even with a receipt, it seldom is taken. They have pretty much lost my business. I can get the same items at other stores for less now anyway. With better service

Bought spa naturals 6oz moisturizing cream and when I compared to last one I had it was smaller even though it stated it was still 6oz. NO WAY the small jar was still 6oz. Sent pics to show the huge size difference.

I just left the tarpon Florida location… on Thursday at 8:45 am. First off the last time I came in the didn't give me a receipt or even ask me if I wanted one so I just left. Well I just came in to exchange2 things without a receipt (that they didn't give me) and told me I could not return with out a receipt which is odd bc the palm harbor location does it all the time. So I did have one item to return which was a small mirror that I didn't realize was already open at the time when I bought it my hands were full of stuff… the cashier then proceeds with an attitude saying I can't return exchange bc it's open so I asked for a manager. Manager rolls her eyes at it and says I guess all huffy and puffy and walks away…. Which ok your a manager at dollar store it's not my fault don't me mad at me if you're not happy this is your job be nice to people… so I decided not to get my cart of things after that between the attitude and not letting home exchange 2 small items. Then the cashier throws the basket and slams it on the register next to us all aggravated. Wow I was shocked. I walked out and never will be going to this location ever again. Once I figure out the email to send complaints I will. Take my advice and go to any other location. Palm harbor on Tampa road is wonderful, friendly and super super nice. I love that location I was just in tarpon and it was easier. Big big big mistake

I went to The Dollar tree in Omaha, Nebraska located on 74th and Dodge St. At 7:45P.m. On June 22. To make a quick purchase. When I could not open the door because the lady there put up a sign on the door stating they were close at 8P.m. And there were five other customer that were coming there to shop too. No reason as to why she was closing so early. The time on the app said 10P.m. Was closing time, so what changed? No reason at all

I was thrilled to find out that I could make several centerpieces very cheap, for my son's wedding. Only to find out that, several of the items I ordered online, were broken, and dollar tree will not re-ship the same item. They will only issue a refund. Therefore, I was left to try and find the same items in my local dollar tree. Which I did not.

I purchased on dollartree.com. 6 ceramic Bowl. I had was having them shipped to my home. When they arrive I had received six gold Chargers. Immediately called customer service they said that I could take them back to my local Dollar Tree and then would receive a refund. From dollartree.com. They refunded the price of the wrong items that they shipped but they did not refund my shipping charges. The shipping charges cost more than the items themselves. Spoke with the manager at Dollar Tree. Calm it was told that they do not do that. Suggested I called UPS. It wasn't UPS's fault I explained they delivered what Dollar Tree had Pat. It was Dollar Tree's fault that they had sent me the wrong item not my fault either but I'm out a shipping charge. This is just wrong Dollar Tree. It's your fault that you did not ship me there correct item

Not sure what Dollar Tree was thinking to increase its prices by 25%! Without any increase in variety or quality. Much better value and quality at Dollar General and even Walmart. Very disappointed in what was one of my favorite stores. Not worth the effort to shop there anymore.
