Bought a coffee pot there and the next day it didnt work so i tossed it and bought another one that one lasted a couple days and went out through that in the garbage and when he got another one and in the middle of making coffee it keeps shutting down that three for three which means you sell junk
I was at the store on main street in crown point today. It was filthy and the one employee working did nothing but complain about being there to anyone who would listen. There was merchandise everywhere. Disgusting place to shop. Where is their management?

My DG is in a busy town and they are suppose to close at 9. However every other night they are closed by 7:30 and yesterday they locked the doors at 7:20! When I asked why they said they didn't have enough employees but there were two standing right in front of me! How does that make sense? 5 cars pulled in within the time I was there. This is unacceptable. Amherst DG in ohio ******* is complete crap! Mean workers, never stocked, and the constant closing early is becoming too comfortable for the workers who probably most likely are staying clocked in until 9! Where can I talk to corporate?
I tried to check out at your Cumberland va register tonight and was told by your employee I would have to wait and remove my things from the counter she was waiting for someone else first me and several other stood there 10 minutes before just leaving not everyone wants to use a card at your self check out and possibly purchase cigarettes! I like your remodeled store but can do without your employees bad attitude and just not wanting to do her job I will shop else where for now on
What is the problem with the air at Dollar General that they are closed all the time. This has been going on for months, I don't understand why the problem hasn't already been fixed! The past 2 days it hasn't been that hot outside only in the lower 80s so why close due to no air when they could just open the doors and let the breeze blow in, hmn! It's nonsense, lazy workers, upper management is just as lazy, Problem should have done been fixed. They are losing customers and going to lose more! So, my local store decided it was a great idea to go self checkout. The manager stated it was the corporate decision. Dumb idea. Small-town store with tons of elderly doing self checkout. Not going to happen. They'll go elsewhere or do Wal-Mart's buy online and pickup at the store as WM is always cheaper than DG. And, I know the argument they'll make: "We can't afford our employees to be cashiers." No... you WON'T afford your employees to be cashiers. That is because the CEO makes millions of dollars in salary for being a literal talking head. Worthless company. I'll be going to their competition instead.
This is the 4th and last time I will shop at a Dollar General! I have been repeatedly miss lead by their sales and items. When I get to their counter, I either get told their machine is down and cannot honor your phone number for sales and discounts. Or I get told a sale is already over when there are more than one sign still up, representing a (the) sale item is still on sale. The cashiers are never helpful and just say oh well. This is miss leading to consumer. Definitely not good business practice. I have call corporate, which is also a joke as they will send you to multiple people throughout the company to get you nowhere. As I said, I am done with a Dollar General and I will never shop there again, unless I find their business practice has changed.

The way they reimburse you for coupons is very misleading. I downloaded 2 coupons for secret deodorant. One was buy one get 1.00 off the second one was buy 2 get 3.00 off. I purchased 2 and they reimbursed me only 1.00. When I questioned it the manager told me the computer will use the cheapest coupon. My second purchase was buy 4 coke products for 12.00. I purchased 8 which is 24.00 and I purchased a greeting card for 1.00. My total purchase was 25.00. When I scanned my Saturday coupon for buy 25.00 get 5.00 off. My total purchase should have been 21.50. My receipt that I had to pay says I owed 25.18. I know 3.68 does not sound like a lot but multiple this times number of customers on a Saturday. Their whole coupon gimmick is a ripoff to ALL of their customers. I will not be using their 5.00 off coupon any more. Walmart will be tickled to have my business.
The lady was a straight $#*! telling me i had to leave my CHILDS diaper bag at the front with her. I have all of my child's stuff in that bag. They act like their store is so big store.i have walked in there before with it and no one said anything before.
I went in there to add money to one of my AT&t prepaid cards for my phone and she didn't know how to do it asking me which card on this list is it I don't know it's not my responsibility to know cuz I'm not the one that works there she rather stay in there with a thumb up our $#*! and text on her phone instead of doing her job
The Dollar General store is great, but the app is the WORST I've ever tried to use I think it's so confusing to keep people from using it and the employees at the store can't navigate the app either I've asked several. DO SOMETHING TO HELP PLEASE..
Order products online today and when I clicked I was ready to pick up my order, the price went up 5$ and 2 of my items was missing. I went to 1470 county road 715 Cullman, Al to pick up the items and told them they took off 2 of my items off and the price went up because they left off my 5$ coupon. They said that the dg web site has nothing to do with them and that the items were out of stock. I said that's fine Ill return them and they told me I don't have a receipt so I can't return them. I had a receipt on the dg web site as well as a bar code. I was told that web site doesn't have anything to do with them. This is unacceptable and dg is extorting money from people by faking coupons and products in stock.
The store in Livonia on Inkster rd is terrible there are boxes everywhere the employees are rude they never have the key for cigarettes it was remolded and was nice and neat know the shelves are empty
Answer: Most of it comes down to the iron fisted payroll. Like 40 asm hours for 2 full time employees. How do you give your asm 20 hours and call that ft!
