The service was ok, but don't even try to get anything resolved. Not 1 person communicates, no one answers the phone, on hold up to an hour. If you DO get through and get 3 different "agents" they all tell you a different story.
Most don't have a clue what you are trying to tell them. Very disgusted with their customer so called service. I don't know how they stay in business.

After being a Dish customer for the last 6 years, my association has ended horribly. I always auto paid with a credit card, this card was compromised and canceled. Not knowing that my Dish account was connected to this card my service was interrupted and I was given an 800 number to call. The only thing I could talk to was a bot, which kept asking questions about a PIN # which I had no Ideal what that was and could not talk to a human to see where to go from there. I finally called a number to re establish service and was put on hold for over 1/2 hour, then the call ended. I disconnected my Dish receiver and all the other thing associated with Dish. I am now using Roku and could't be happier streaming.

Me tv is in my package and hasn't been on air in months as the contract has expired. You seem to never get what you pay for with dish.

We moved to a rural area and needed TV and internet service. They said that they'd have internet in the area in about 1 to 2 months, well that was roughly 9 months ago and shocker no internet. When we call and repeat what we were told, we get the oh sorry we don't offer internet in your area yet. We'll no $#*!. Thanks for being the ultimate captain obvious.

Worst provider

When I started with dish, it has three of my favorite channels. They installed it and the very next week I lost CBS. Then I lost NBC. I got back CVS several months later. It's gone again and has been gone for the past year. The CW is gone. I have not been able to watch a Cincinnati Reds baseball game in the past three years because dish refuses to deal with Bally sports Ohio. Both spectrum and DIRECTV offer these channels. If you are looking at switching to dish, think again. I would great – zero stars but unfortunately, the site requires me to pick at least one star.

The absolute worst satellite company for service and updating equipment they have you take off work to service your satellite that never works and then cancel on you having you miss a day of work but expect their bill to be paid on time all the all the time worthless company was supposed to show up between 8:00 and 12:00 and we get these two messages

Recently Dish Network had a HUGE service interruption which looks to be a ransomware attack. This lasted for over a month and customer service was down for 6 weeks. I finally reached customer service today and they offered me $5 for my inconvenience. Who knows what information of mine is now in some hackers hands.

I have been a Dish customer for 20 years and pay $170 per month and they offer me 5 bucks. I will be canceling my service when my current contract expires at the end of this month and urge anyone reading this to stay far away from this company.

Dish network has the worst equipment that never works and the customer service is the worst. If you call you have to wait forever to talk to someone and then they are clueless. I have to unplug my box's every day for the tv to work. They say they have great service, they are lying. They were hacked so the app didn't work and you had to wait 120 minutes if you called to pay your bill. The techs tell me they are having so many problems with their new boxes. I was told to downgrade to the older system because they are reliable. My point is STAY AWAY FROM DISH NETWORK!

Customer service is horrible. The dish anywhere app is all ads and you get a fraction of the channels. Everytime the wind blows the service goes out. The remotes last about six months then buttons stop working. The price keeps going up and the service keeps going down.

I am finally done with dish tv after spending hours on phone with each occurrence being messed up. I tried to cancel service due to moving and made it effective april 15. Couple days later Dish shows up at my door to move my service. After I told them it was being discontinued not moved they informed me they are contracted by dish and must of had the wrong information. So called Dish again and after two hours on hold thought I got it resolved to discontinue service again and was told boxes would be in mail to send equipment back. So after a week and no boxes I called again and was told it was not marked as discontinued. So another hour on phone to finalize again that April 13 would be discontinued. And want me to pay cancellation fee of $340. So after I get off phone no service. Call back and they said I was discontinued b/c you can't put a future date in system and it would cost me more money to get back on. I said you should be paying me for your stupid mistakes but just left it discontinued. This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. Please do not ever sign up with these crooks. You can't ever get thru unless you have two hours to wait on phone and they don't have a clue what they are doing. Of course their system is always down.

No call, no shows

They were supposed to come out 2 days ago to install a new box between 8am and noon. I took off of work. Nobody showed up. Called at 2 pm and they said a tech would be here by the end of the day. Nobody came. Called back yesterday, they apologized and gave us $32 off our bill and said someone will be here today. So I took off of work again. They were supposed to be here between 8am and noon. It's now 1:45 and they're a no call, no show again. They are the worst company ever.

It would appear that somebody is better off to use Google or YouTube to work instead of Tech support. This company seems to nothing but confuse the customer aggravate them pick a verbal fight and decide the phone call is bad on the customers part. And they were the ones who initiated said disagreements. They're a complete total joke and any $#*!ing idiot kid in middle school that can get on YouTube could probably do their job better than them. I just reprogrammed my friends remote for their service after they just got off a heated discussion on the phone with customer service after holding for however long and getting on the phone to have one question answered. They totally yelled at her treated her like $#*! and then blamed her for this vulgar treatment. When the simple question was how do I program my remote to my new television? Any other Tech support questions? I would forward to the internet on your own Google and YouTube searching your save yourself time and annoyance and well. Let us hope that a sensible television service and next work. Well presented self in the world somewhere along lines because I don't have anything better to save for cable or any of the other services out there. Maybe they should hire? Competent employees not impatient entitled pieces of $#*! that make sure that nothing is done. Customers aren't satisfied and nobody wants the service at the end of the day. Hell of a customer service. Person this coming from a junkie and hustler who's got more sense in their brain on drugs.

Very, very disappointing customer service. After 22 years as a customer. My bill jumped from $79 to $108 a month. Called customer service to find why. I was on hold for 50 minutes and a non English speaking person answer the phone which we couldn't communicate with. Called back couple days later and after waiting an hour and a half I get something called the retention center Dept.?. Which gave me a 2 choices either cancel my service or drop the bill down to $99 a month.
I am happy they did that. I canceled Dish Network... I signed up with Sling for $30 a month. Get more channels and great customer service.
If I know this earlier...
Do not recommend Dish Network.

Don't use dish tv

People at dish TV are the worst customer service people ever I called on 6 January requesting my service be discontinued. I was moving away we sold our house was no longer there on the 21st. They pinged my service and confirmed that it was not connected. They're still billing me, finally today May 5 month after it was supposed to be terminated it's finally terminated but they want to charge me and will only credit one and 1/2 months because they said they were hacked. I am aware they were hacked. I have called their 14 times average time was an hour to an hour and a half each time to talk to people to get it disconnected and a return authorization for the equipment. They now have no record of it do I think they have a record of is it was being done 21st of January, but they can't tell me why it was pinned just that it was pinned and it was not no equipment was shown so obviously they could've credited me but just did not want to, they have regular billing issues. I was happy to escape from the clutches of Dish now they still want to charge me for over a month after I initiated the disconnect, horrible people. I hope they all rot in hell.
The reading would not let me on this website go lower than one star. They deserve -5 poor service for quality extremely poor customer service.

I called and spoke to someone on 03/07/2023 to cancel my service, was told that there was a security breech and service will be free until 03/17/23 and to call back to confirm that service was cancelled. I called back, was on hold for over an hour, told it is being disconnected and for me to wait for a box and return my equipment. I looked today to ensure no bills. I have been disconnected per my account, however, I did not receive my free service AND I have a full bill for April plus other fees. I tried to contact them again only to receive notice that they are having "technical difficulties". Well - that is for sure. I will never return to DISH nor refer anyone!

Very dissatisfied.

Was a customer for over 45 years and boy things have changed for the worst. Can not contact them due to their computer problems and bill went up over $37. Now having trouble changing user name and password, can't even get. Into account. I have one big problem that I wish could be solved. Spent many. Many hours attempting to correct and am beside myself. Don't waste your time and money like I have.

Breech

Ill keep this short. I received a promotion in the mail from Dish Locked price for 2 years plus a 500 cash back debit card. I give them credit the install went well the service worked fine. On my second month I realized i had not been sent the 500.00 cash back debit card. That offer had a very significant impact on my decision to purchase this service. So I tried to call them. I wasted and hour day 1 tried again on day two hour and a half could not get through. This went on for 6 days. I finally decided to go to their social network site and complain. It was there I discovered Dish had been hacked and my personal data had been breeched;. That was two weeks ago i think to this day they are still hacked The second breech I have with Dish is the breech of contract.They have never sent the money but I cannot reach them to cancel. They never notified any of uis abouit the breech of our persoanl data. They are able to send out a bill oh yeah that still functions. I really feel betrayed I dont care how this impacts m,y credit. They can go to hell Im not wasting another minute of my life on them. They can reach me now and they can come get the equipment.Thats it for me with the major cable providers. No more of this crap. My advice stay aways from Dish thery only thing they dish is more problems there is nothing entertaining about that
