La señora que me atendió fue muy desentendiada y poco seria con migo me dijo que repitiera muchas veces la direction solo porque no quise escuchas sus propagandas y después se iso la que no me escuchaba.
Para mi eso deja muy por abajo la compañía de Dish no hay seriedad con las cosas y esa será mi recomendación hacia otras personas de ahora en adelante.
I was a customer for 27 years had no problems Two year ago everything started I had the Greek Elite program and I couldn't get half of the channels they keep on sending a technician out but he had no clue what they were doing. He wouldn't get my programming to work and just take off without saying anything Well it got to the point where I had to cancel the service It's being 2 months from cancellation day and I still don't have my refund back not only they charged me half of the payment for services that I have no idea what they are but if I hadn't call I would never had got that money back I asked them how long before I get that money back in my account and they said 17 days. That's crazy! I'm so disappointed!
I've had Dish Network for over 20 years. Since this spring, we've had multiple problems, lost local channels, told it was us and the weather. Sent us new DVR, this one even worse. Overheats and gets a message that the box is in too confined space--wrong! Moved it out to a stand and have to run a fan on it to keep it cool. Every other week we lose the local channels. For the past week we've only been able to get like 4 channels out of 120... yet they still like their $83 a month. Going to check other options... they went from good to absolutely the worst!
I have been with dish for 3.5 years. My contract was a 2 year contract. My son lost the Sim card for the hopper and I called to have a new Sim card replaced. They sent a tech out and replaced the box. Nothong changed on my service what so ever. I signed for the tech saying his job was complete. This was a 1.5 years ago. I just tried to call and cancel and now they are telling me they got me locked into another contract because they came and upgraded my equipment which locked me into another 2 year contract. This was never mentioned ever. I thought the whole time they just replaced the box. After talking to 3 different people trying to cancel the last person as he was about to cancel service goes oh your locked in for 5 more months like the other 2 people acted liked I was good to cancel and the one that tries to get you not to cancel by offering you 5 things finds some way to keep you locked into there bull$#*!. Never have any service on the wireless Joey's. Don't get locked into these bull$#*! companies and there bull$#*! contracts. They will find a way to get you!
Dish does not offer a local channel package instead they make you purchase a channel package with a ton of channels you will not watch just to make your bill higher. I do not recommend them, not only do they rip you off but the smart card they give you constantly doesn't work and says it's upside down when it's not.
I have nothing positive to say about dish network, tv constantly goes into sleep mode, directions to stop sleep mode do not work, very few movies are free to watch on demand or otherwise, at least on directv's very limited database of old movies most are free to watch on demand, dish network on demand sometimes locks up even when I have a strong internet signal, the lock up requires repowering the device then attempting to restart the movie you wanted to watch, by that time you will probably not be in a mood to watch the movie, on top of that it reboots constantly, I will never have directv or dish network once I get out of this contract
Good luck getting someone on the phone. Then when you do, they will say their old equipment (from a previous owner) is your responsibility to rip out and and get rid of. Pushy overbearing salespeople and unhelpful customer service. Look elsewhere
I have the latest hopper 3 dish service and it is a nightmare. I cannot recommend Dish. There support is worse than their equipment. They expect you to stay up all night to troubleshoot there faulty equipment. Certain processes can be addressed only at specific hours. When you are ready to turn off and go to bed at night the screen stays on to market their services to you and you have to wait 5 minutes before you are allowed to turn it off. They will tell you have go through a long time consuming process with their tech on the phone in the late night and that may or may not fix it for a while. It will happen again. Dish has a business model that assumes it will receive recurrent revenue from customers treated in this manner. Crazy business model!

Use … so mad at my husband for changing. I love watching tv … but it's such a pain to even turn it on … they used to have a control like Diirect TV … my friend had it … but now it's like you've got to take a class to watch tv … I hate it. Can't wait to switch back. I just go to bed now not worth the trouble to watch television…
I live in Florida and have Dish. Every time there is rain or storm, it goes out. It comes back on after storm passes. I think the advertisement is bogus. Misleading except for refund. If you need something to follow during a storm or worse, Dish is not something you can count on! Terrible idea for an ad. They should know better. Makes their marketing department look dumb!
I am very disappointed because I am paying for channels I can't even watch. I have been with dish for a very long time. I feel I shouldn't have to upgrade my TV box for me to watch the channels I am paying for. I am really about to find something cheaper and get more channels.
Horrible workplace you get changed supervisors so many times and then you get a supervisor that doesn't know what they are doing and then you get blame for they don't acknowledge your questions que ignored and then they want a different outcome and proof of metrics being met when they lack in their own jobs this job is a joke! Well im going to DIRECTV Now thanks for the opportunity.
I am past UNHAPPY! Waited all day to see Chapel Hart on AGT tonight. They were the the very LAST act! No problems until they were suppose to come on stage. Then the screen went completely black! What the hell?
6 yrs of service and they want to nickel and dime you when you try to cancel them, Run as fast as you can Away from Dish.
They claim in the new commercial that if you lose signal because of a storm they will refund you. We lost service during a storm, I took a picture of my TV screen and they told me they had no report of storms in my area that night. The thunder was so loud I should have recorded that I guess.
Service rep was very belittling and unprofessional. He said his name was Kato and his employee number was I-78. Very Rude and Unprofessional!
I am so frustrated with dish service this time around. I loose signal 4-5 times a week. Also when I fast forward through commercials after having live tv paused for an hour it will freeze up and screen goes black. I have to change the Chanel to get a show back and then I loose the show I'm watching
Received message that we had a complete signal loss. Husband called and cust service said we had to upgrade to the hopper with a higher price and a 2 year. Contract. We have been with them for 8 years. Husband told them I would call when I got home. Was told we didn't have to upgrade yet but will have to in the future. Still have to send a tech out but can not get here for almost 2 weeks! Will be chey other companies while I wait for them. Bill always paid on time. Bet if we upgraded they would be out in a few days!
Warning don't use Dish. When you cancel they don't send prepaid box or shipping label. So when u use your own box and send out the don't send you the money it cost you to send back. I got stuck paying $92 from Ct to Tx. Bad company to deal with people who don't speak English and are just plain dum. Thanks
About every month and a half I go through a week of unplugging, plugging, repeat. Calling Dish sometimes getting someone who can help sometimes not. After four calls in a week they'll send a technician who usually replaces something. It takes about ten days to get everything fixed again. My two years will be up in a couple of months. I'll be looking for other options. Dish is just too frustrating.
Answer: Because it sounds great to have 1200 channels even if 1195 channels are nothing but infomercials, most people like me think wow I will have so many movies to watch I might have to record 5 while I watch 1 but after you get your 1200 channels you realize most every movie you would like to see can only be viewed if you pay an extra rental fee, another huge disadvantage to satellite tv is the frequency of commercials and the time the commercials are shown, regular tv used to be a 2 minute commercial break, dish network and directv have over 5 minute commercial breaks

Answer: They bait and switch with their supposed DVR recording option that they change to On Demand, making it impossible for you to watch what you thought you recorded.
