I had a very poor experience with this company. I ordered 72 mason jars with our company logo in November. The product looked great in the design lab. I was sent a proof for my approval and again the product looked great, it looked exactly like it did in the design lab where I had sent it up. Then I actually received the mason jars... they were pretty awful.

None of the mason jars looked like what I had set up in the design lab or what I had received in the proof. Here's a summary of what we received:

1.9/72 mason jars had defects, such as scratches in the ink or the actual mason jar.
2.72/72 mason jars were printed with our logo in the wrong location. I had set up the mason jars so our logo was on the upper half of the mason jars, the ones I received had the logo on the lower half of the mason jars.
3.72/72 mason jars had "holes" in the ink. If you held the mason jar to the light you could see numerous dots where there was no ink.

I contacted the company by phone numerous times to try to get my order corrected or at least a refund. After a few attempts I was told to contact a specific email. After sending this email a synopsis of my issues as well as pictures, I got this response 7 days later:

"I was waiting on an answer back on the jars. Now, because the proof and website say the placement on the mugs varies unfortunately we will not be able to replace the jars. Do you have any other issues with the mugs?"

So my order was completely wrong, 9 were defected and all were of poor quality... but because the online proof says "Please note that proofs are an approximation of what the actual item and artwork will look like after production" I won't be able to have these low quality products replaced or refunded.

I was so frustrated with this response, and complete lack of customer care, that I decided to bring my business elsewhere (still hoping these turn out well, the new company I ordered from at least guaranteed they will remake my order if I am not satisfied).

If I could give zero stars, I would. Using the website, I selected a mug, uploaded artwork and adjusted the quantities and shipping method until we would get the mugs by the needed date at a price we could live with. I uploaded the artwork at the same time I placed the order and approved the proof as soon as I received the e-mail. Despite doing my part, Discount Mugs changed the estimated delivery date by two days. Considering the items have not left the facility and the online tracker doesn't even show they have moved to the shipping department, I will be surprised if they meet the revised date.

I called "customer service" and asked why my package hadn't shipped and the non-helpful person there just kept repeating that the dates are estimates and can move if the production schedule requires it. I told her that a change of several days is not a reasonable "slip" in the schedule. A company that CARES about customer service and customer satisfaction would have offered to upgrade my already expedited shipping at no cost. This person flat out refused. This company lies and the customer service department really couldn't care less about the customers. Use them at your own risk and make sure you have PLENTY of time available for their "production schedule" to change to whatever is convenient for them.

I am a rep for the Wolfpack Club at NC State University. I needed a custom print full color collapsible can cooler for a special event on Saturday, October 4th. I spoke with Manuel Motaduval in sales and he could not have been more helpful. He made sure that I could see a proof that was acceptable. His follow up was prompt and professional. I will definitely buy product from DiscountMugs again.

This site has so many things available it's incredible. You can personalize your gifts in many ways - type your own text or upload a picture or choose one of their suggestions. They have 24/7 online chat reps to answer questions. Prices are good to great depending on quantity ordered. I got some nylon drawstring backpacks with my own message on them for a group event I'm attending. The quality was so much better than I expected. They look awesome. Larger than I thought too. Came quickly (I did pay for expedited shipping, but less than some other sites charge for that). No extra packing in the box, just the goods. I'm thrilled with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone. Will definitely buy from them again.

We have always purchased our mugs at Discount Mugs. Thier products are wonderful with a wide variety to choose from. Oscar Torres is the best, had to make a return today and he made it very easy and was quick responding to my request. I wish more companies had customer service skills such as Oscar!

This was my first time using Discount Mugs and it won't be the last Thanks To Ms. Shawnaye Baker who was outstanding. She gave me everything I need with so much professionalism and patience. I couldn't have completed my order without her. There should be more people in the world like Shawnaye that deal with Customer Service. In fact, she could give some business personnel a lesson on people and customer service skills. She should be named and given the Sales Person of the Award!

My customer service person Oscar Torres was very helpful with my order. He was cheerful and took care of my problem. My problem was that we ordered 105 mugs on 7-28-14 DM*******, the mugs arrived Aug 5th, in 2 EXTREMELY HEAVY boxes. Upon review of the mugs I found that 15 mugs were sent with damages on them. 12 were chipped, 1 had the logo smeared, 1 had a broken handle, and the last one did not have a logo on the mug. Oscar requested I send 5 pictures and he expedited the replacement order, to arrive before the 15th as we need them for our reunion. Oscar was wonderful giving us 5 extra mugs for the order in case of another problem.

I have ordered numerous items over the last few years from Discount Mugs and have always been pleased with the quality of the product and the customer service. I don't even shop around anymore, if I know Discount Mugs has what I am looking for then I just go straight to their website, find exactly what I want and place my order. This week I purchased some last minute tote bags - then changed my mind about which ones I wanted, changed my artwork - made a real mess but Oscar Torres in Customer Service took great care of me, kept my order straight and helped me to expedite the shipping so they arrive on time. I love working with Discount Mugs and will do again and again!

Chris Rizo was wonderful in helping us! I understand that a new policy was put into place regarding payment before proof... This was impossible for my organization (County PTA) to work around as we have a sponsor pay for our bags only AFTER approving the proof. I found this out after placing my entire order on a Saturday and was denied. I called back on Monday and spoke with Chris who listened to my problem, saw that this was our 3rd year ordering from you and that we always follow through with payment after proof approval, and he made it happen. He always called back and performed tasks when promised. I appreciate his excellent customer service more than you can imagine! I will continue to use Discount Mugs in the future because of it!

Last week I order some stress balls for our residents here at our facility, the sales rep stated he would send me a confirmation by e-mail which I never received. I called about the order and spoke with another sales rep and she stated that the order did not exist. On Monday 08-04 there was a charge on our credit card for the balls. So I called and spoke with a Oscar Torres and he found the order by using our phone number. Oscar was very professional and efficient and did what he said he would do, He sent us a copy of the invoice via email and told us when we could expect our order. Oscar Torres, THANK YOU for CARING!
