I had directv on sattelite, now on fiber. Cant get rid of channels I wil lnever use. Can't get rid of the "get HDO" 'Get disney+" tnhere has to be 30 entries in my menu. They just updayed the recording menu and I can't see my recordings without 30 button clicks through multiple screens.
Overpriced. Hidden Charges. DIRECTV keeps losing local and popular channels like WTEN, WXXA, FOX. You can't watch popular sporting events or tv shows like that are broadcasting on the channels or watch the local news. I live in a rural area and will have to figure something else out other than Directv.
They're horrible they bill you like really fast and don't get behind they disconnect your service very fast and your bill amount is never the same and your price keeps going up and up and up run run fast as you can Don't get them DON'T GO WITH DIRECT TV.
Been a customer since 2015. Finally did a upgrade after I originally was going to cancel the service. Was told/promised that my bill would not change or be affected. To my surprise it did. After being on the phone with them for 6 months in a row I'm confident that my last day with directv will be in March 2024
Got there service in November 2022 and was promised a reward card well it's now in July 23 2023 and still waiting for that reward card. They have no intention of ever sending those cards out just to get you to sign up and they receive that money each month. They can cash those checks but no way they are going to hold there side of the contract. So if you are like me I will be looking for another company for tv.

This company's quality of service is not equal to what they charge. There is not enough of what the consumer wants.
Do not use Direct TV. I have had them for years. A loyal customer and when I cancelled as I moved out of state I kept calling every month about my refund owed. It's been 3 months and still no return. Now they claim the credit amount is $30 less as they took off a promotion. I am sure I will never see any refund. Never never use Direct TV again
Their tech damaged my roof they told me they damaged it gave me a number to file a claim I did that and they've blown me off ever since no one will call back now and will text back no one will email back do not buy this service
Singed up for service in August of 2022 and didn't receive a bill so I called and notified them. I was told at that time that I didn't have an account so there was nothing to bill. Waited another couple of months and after still not receiving a bill I called in again and the conversation went the same way, nothing to bill because I don't have an account. In July of 2023, I get a $400 bill from them for back dated service. After an hour on the phone and plenty of arguing, I'm paying the $400 and early termination fees just get away from them to never go back.
It'll only be a matter of time before this company is dead. Safelite TV is a thing of the past and their streaming service is bad and expensive. They'll suffer the slow death the company deserves.
OMG there Service is terrible. My system is down and first appt is 10 days out REALLY! IF YOU CAN NOT TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMER BUT NEW SERVICE WHAT I HAD MY NABOR DO. THEY WILL BE OUT IN 4 DAYS. I called and cancelled my service on 6-19-2023. I just got a bill for $260.00 and was told that it was because the billing cycle began on 6-17-23. That is $130.00 per day of use. I returned my equipment on the 20th of June and didn't use the service since. What kind of scam is that? If I don't pay they will turn me out to collections. WHAT A RIP OFF. And by the way I was told that they are no longer owned by AT&T yet my bill still comes from AT&T. Do not use these people for your service...they'll just screw you over in the end.
We had an appointment with a Direct TV tech person for a home visit. That was supposed to happen during a 4 hour window. We're now more than 3 hours past that window & have given up on anyone showing up. I called to find out what's going on & could understand nothing the phone person said. What little I did understand was definitely a run-around. I regret ever having hooked up with this sorry excuse for a satellite dish TV company.
I contacted DTV as I was considering switching from Dish to DTV in hopes of saving some money. The agent I spoke with was either dishonest or wasn't trained well on the product/services. I asked if I could have a DTV technician come to my home and discuss the advantages of switching providers and whether or not they could replace my current satellite (place it in the same position) without drilling holes in my new roof. The phone agent led me to belive that I would have a technician come to my home. I made it very clear to the phone agent I was NOT agreeing to the service until I spoke with a technician. When I asked the customer service agent when I could expect a technician to come to my home he told me a technician would contact me to schedule an appointment. I was never contacted. Instead, to my surprise, received a box of equipment from DTV with instructions on how to install the new services MYSELF. INSTALL WHAT? I did not agree to sign up for DTV, only wanted to speak to a technician. Unfortunately, I was not able to return the equipment (which I did NOT order) in the proper amount of time and was subsequently charged for it. I was completely misled and TRICKED into receiving equipment and paying for equipment I DID NOT ORDER. Horrible customer service. BEWARE!
Been with them since the nineties.Each year the service & billing,personnel get worse.
Now this time around with customer service was the last straw.Are these folks Chinese or what? They don't hardly speak English & interupt every time you try too talk.Also tired of them saying they can't hear me & punching the buttons too make a beeping sound,Also both departments said I could not speak with a supervisor. 82 yrs old.Too old too put up with this any more.
I had the honor of speaking with Chris today. He was extremely patient and kind and helped Mr out so much with a billing issue and I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep my services with direct tv but after Chris took the time to help me find more channels I wasn't aware I had I'm super happy with everything now. I used to have xfinty and I'm only a month in With direct tv and internet but I'm super thrilled after speaking with Chris. Thank you so much.

In the last year I have lost 4 channels of which two were major channels and my monthly payment has not changed. Also I lost access to the NFL Package. Service is really going downhill. I will definitely be looking into Dish or local cable network
We have now just lost local channels due to DirecTV forcing the little guy out no more local news local weather leaving us in the dark about her own state in our own City shame on you DirecTV looking for another cable company to go to going to drop DirecTV this is not the first time they've done it we've had enough
I was told that I would get my baseball games on the package they suggested and I don't get any without paying for it. The sound gets garbled and you can't understand the program.

Answer: It is a scam 100%. Just read the reviews. You don't realize it until they got your money and you need something! They are holding peoples money from them that doesn't belong to them. They may even tell you you'll get it back. Just keep waiting, you wont. Then you have to call back and go through the entire process again. I'm on 6 weeks now/Overdraft fees/No Thanksgiving/ and I have photo proof I cancelled 2 days before my free trial was up. They just didn't want me to cancel! Lol. They do things different here. You have been WARNED my friends!
Answer: Doesn't matter since they ignore the discrepancy once they have you under contract. No wonder their rating is so poor!
